I'm sorry but this scheme is a waste of funds. The scheme will gulp almost 150 billion naira in salary alone for the first 200000 people for the first two years. When the remaining 300000 join,it will cost another 200 billion naira for two years salary alone. This is a country where 22 million youths between the age of 15 and 34 are either unemployed or under employed. This is a country where 10 million children are out of school. Yet so much is being spent for cheap political promises. Is this the best we can do with 300 billion naira ? To employ 500000 for Two years out of 22 million youths? Surely this is another amnesty/surep in the making. Throwing money at the problem to look good

Where you found your name is the state and local government that you are posted to, awaiting your place of primary assignment which the respective states are working on it now and hopefully this week we'll receive it - if the sheme must commence Thursday, 1st December. And as a matter of fact, this sheme is designed for graduates to serve in the state and local government of residence irrespective of ones origin. That is why this thread was created for us that have changed our state of residence within the last few month. To see if we can be relocated to our current state of residence.

All of us are still waiting for our posting to the place of our primary assignment which will definitely be within the local government of our posting.

youths these days are into saging, gangs, drugs and are exposed to a world too complicated for their young age through music, internet and the streets. A parent should monitor and guide his children through these irrespective of gender. When I was younger, we had a lot of respect for our elders and commitment to manual labour. Nigerians parents are not so good. infact, if a male or female child from an average family in Nigeria turns out to be a responsible adult, it's a huge testimony.

For a Nigerian parent, the kids go to school if they can afford it, the female child does the chores and cooks and the male child roams about or do whatever he likes. (that's why most Nigerian men are dirty and untidy except the ones that attended boarding school or simply wised-up,)when you complain, they will say he's a man o.
