One morning in the kitchen as I was trying to warm food to eat, I remembered when I usually wonder what causes our food to spoil. Little did I know that I would spend many days in school unravelling this thought. I later got to know that tiny organisms too little for our human eye unaided to see, which we call microbe were responsible for this. Many have come to know microbes for the negative things they do alone. But they have a good side too, just like every other living creature of God. Foods like Bread, Eba, Fufu etc and Beverages like wine are products of fermentation which is driven by these little beings. They mean no harm actually, but need to survive like you, so they feed on your body parts and in the process lead to one ailment or the other. We can't survive this earth without them, but we can limit their hold on us by keeping a good personal hygiene and a clean environment. Make it a duty to wash your hands regularly, it starts from there.

Some have asked the question, who created microbes. They ask this question because there seem to be no mention of them in the Bible story of creation. Only a few hundreds of years have man been able to discover glasses which when focused in a particular angle aid our human eyes in seeing these little creatures. So no one could explain their existence, though they affect our daily activities. I wonder if Moses could understand them even if He saw them in the vision since he had not seen anyone of them prior to the time of the vision. We might be unclear about their creation from Genesis but the Epistles show that all things visible and invisible where created by God in the beginning. So don't think the devil created them to afflict us, because the devil himself was created and has no power to create.
The sin of man changed the nature of life here on earth and microbes are not left out. Death which was not Gods plan for man was now introduced. These microbes now feed on humans and in the process cause various infectious ailment known to man that eventually lead to death. Diseases like malaria, cholera, cancer, HIV, Ebola etc are caused by them. But the goodnews is that we can now resist their hold in our lives today. We have authority in the name of Jesus and can stand against sickness so we can do Gods work here on earth.
If you have been afflicted by any form sickness or disease in your body,know of a truth that you can stand on Gods word today and live in victory over that sickness. Jesus is your healer!

One of the reasons I prefer a Federal school is the opportunity it offers you to meet divers kind of people. On a particular day in my room in school, a roommate who as come to know Jesus and attends a 'holiness denominational' church, asked me a question. This is not his first attempt at asking me question, sometimes I even get tired answering him because he seems to always want to know about things especially when he is not clear about some matters (biblical). His question this day was 'how I do stop sinning'. I know he attended a church where he was told the moment one gets saved, all the works of the flesh stops. I know he was told he was not saved until he stops certain habits. He probably would have asked his teacher this same question but did not get a satisfying answer so he decided to hear my opinion on it. My answer, as though I knew he was going to ask such question immediately was 'who told you to stop sinning?' The look on his face changed. I guess that was not the answer he was searching for. Prior to this day, he had made comments about wanting to be like me, maybe because I don't shout over little issues, fight over every matter or because I seemed more committed in my church than he does. Aside these I don't know why he uttered such statement. I said that to make him have a rethink. I then drew his attention away from his failures in the flesh to the life of Christ. I explained to him how that a believer ought to cultivate the life he now possess in Christ by walking in the God's word. I showed him from scriptures how that by prioritizing and making a habit of God's word he will give no place for the devil. He soon reasoned with me. He still continued going to that church. If you ask me today this same question today, I will tell you not to stop anything but to start doing the word. #greaterthings

MORAL
Some never stay where they are assigned to, no matter what you tell them. They are so nosy that they want to be everywhere, know everything, and be involved in all. Such people will not learn their lesson until they get punished for their actions. Why must you be interested in what does not concern you. Must you always go beyond your boundary. Each time you go off the limit you miss the mark and you end up paying dearly for it. Whatever happens to you then, it is your fault. There are a thousand and one things that need your attention which you have not yet attended to; still, all that you are most interested in is just to interfere into issues that do not concern you. The way you show your concern is even more than those who should be most concerned. Better learn a lesson from the story above before it is too late. Do not be too inquisitive, especially in matters that have nothing to do with you; it will always get you into trouble. Even Jesus, most times do not come into situations until he is invited.

A well dressed, handsome looking, young science graduate was walking past the brick fence surrounding a psychiatric hospital close to Yaba when he heard the noise of the patients inside chanting “Thirteen! Thirteen! Thirteen!” Well, that made him curious, so he went round the whole building to see if he could get a place from where he could peep in to see what it is that is gladdening the inmates but he found none. He was almost giving up when he saw a key-hole on one of the doors close to where the noise was coming from. So, he decided to peek inside and see what was going on. All the while, the patients were still in there chanting “Thirteen! Thirteen! Thirteen!” So the man leaned over, puts his eye to the key-hole, and instantly and unexpectedly, someone poked him with a stick in the eye *POP*. As he was recovering from the shock, he heard the patients change the wordings of their song of jubilation to “FOURTEEN! FOURTEEN! FOURTEEN!”
