Medicine after death.
They will come and be asking wrong questions here and there. |
He truly was the greatest! Fighting Parkinson's disease for 32 agonizing years was no joke. R.I.P, Champ. |
A customer orders eba/fufu or the like and his preferred soup, finds his way to my table.. Attempts to clean his hands by pouring water while washing his hands into a bowl/basin so lackadaisically that some splash of water finds its way to my food. So disgusting.. Makes me want to loose appetite and puke. |
Ahhhhh! Nnkan nbe! |
True that! Let's see how this issue pans out. Hoping against hope that all parties reach a compromise that won't have heart - breaking consequences! |
*In GEJ's voice - "We are ontop of the situation, no cause for alarm* |
Yeah! Lived in the barracks,(not anymore) a police one at that, for 19 years..where lawlessness and moral decadence was the order of the day. Had d option of either imbibing those rascally habits, as seen practised by the *area boys* or dare 2 be different. A task even made harder when, growing up as a kid, u can't draw up any form of inspiration from other older barrack boys / girls as they very easily chose to adopt the already established notorious lifestyle. I won't forget what one taxi man said to me while giving me a ride home from the bus terminal after my semester exams. "So Police don dey send their children go university?"...he ended up collecting half the agreed fare. I must say though, that both my parents were strict disciplinariasn, and the no - nonsense type. Trust me, I've been there, seen it all, consciously picked the good virtues, and deliberately avoided the bad.. I'm thoroughly refined! |
