The IG report revealed that The FBI:

Relied on fake Clinton-funded Steele dossier to target the Trump campaign.

Knew dossier was complete bunk by January 2017 and yet they kept suggesting otherwise to continue using it to seek spy warrants

Deceived and lied to the FISA court

Abused the FISA process

used a confidential human source to interact with and record conversations with Trump affiliates (Spying)

Doctored documents

Hid exculpatory evidence

Suppressed or ignored information negating the reliability of their principal source

Had no good explanation for these misconducts

Was rife with widespread wrongdoing


Anyone who would still defend these is either deceiving himself or just plain stupid

Foreign agent Christopher Steele's fake dossier paid for by Hillary Clinton's campaign "played a central and essential role in" the Obama-Biden FBI obtaining "FISA surveillance targeting" Trump campaign staffer Carter Page

"In the rush to obtain and maintain FISA surveillance of Trump campaign associates, FBI officials misled the FISA court, omitted critical exculpatory facts from their filings, and suppressed or ignored information negating the reliability of their principal source...

"The [IG] found the explanations given for these actions unsatisfactory. While most of the misconduct identified by the [IG] was committed in 2016 and 2017 by a small group of now-former FBI officials, the malfeasance and misfeasance detailed in the [IG's] report reflects a clear abuse of the FISA process. ... "In the preparation of the FISA applications to surveil Carter Page, the Crossfire Hurricane team failed to comply with FBI policies, and in so doing fell short of what is rightfully expected from ... [an] agency entrusted with such an intrusive surveillance tool."

The IG report shows that:

An FBI lawyer who hated President Trump doctored a document so that it "inaccurately stated" that Trump campaign staffer Carter Page had NOT previously helped another U.S. government agency.

This false information was then presented to the FISA court.
