Just this evening, a respected friend was telling me all the good things Governor Mbah is doing in Enugu state.
Notable among them was how he used technology to end touting in the whole of Enugu state. Every commercial transporter is mandated to scan a code where they pay all the daily tickets to the state Government directly.

That's brilliant. I wonder why Lagos and other states haven't done this. I think its lack of political will

To industrialise a nation, technical skills are far more needed than paper degrees of engineers and project managers. Unfortunately in Nigeria, even highly skilled artisans are paid peanuts and regarded as lower humans, so no one wants to learn those skills.
