Let their followers ask them the values of the shares they have in the stock market since Tinubu became president, let them ask Tinubu to cancel NELFUND and let's see their reactions, let them ask Tinubu to stop Sokoto Badagry highway and the coastal road and let's see what they would say.

Tinubu remains the best president in Nigerian history and his reelection is sacrosanct.

However as I stated, there’s NO BETTER time than now to implement these reforms, IF THIS COUNTRY IS TO SURVIVE.

We want to be like Europe, Singapore, etc.. these countries all went through these reforms to be where they are now.

Let me Tell You… If ELECTRICITY isn’t FULLY DEREGULATED, I doubt we will enjoy 24/7 supply.. The Govt is just “scared” to push this.

MY PROBLEM WITH THESE SO-CALLED ACHIEVEMENTS

1. State Police: It is still a proposal, not a fully operational system. Nigerians are still waiting for effective security that protects their lives and property.

2. Local Government Autonomy: Autonomy on paper is one thing. Let the people see it in better roads, clean water, functional health centres and improved primary schools in their communities.

3. NELFUND Student Loans: Helping students pay fees is good, but a loan is still a debt. What about graduates who cannot find jobs after school? And what about parents struggling to feed their families?

4. Fuel Subsidy Removal: This is one reform Nigerians have felt directly, but mostly through higher transport fares, food prices and the cost of living. Where are the benefits that ordinary people were promised?

5. FX Reforms: What is the benefit of stabilising the exchange rate if the average Nigerian still struggles to afford basic necessities? Economic stability should translate into better living conditions.

6. CREDICORP: Access to consumer loans is not the same as increased income. People need decent jobs and better wages, not just more opportunities to borrow.

7. Bank Reforms: Stronger banks may be good for the economy, but how does that automatically put food on the table of a poor family? Ordinary Nigerians need affordable credit and an economy that works for them.

8. Free Market and Investor Confidence: Investors making profits and the stock market performing well are not enough. How many jobs have been created? How much has the purchasing power of ordinary Nigerians improved?

My point is simple: I am not saying every one of these policies is useless. I am saying that announcing a policy is not the same as delivering results.

If the economy is improving, ordinary Nigerians should feel it in their pockets, in the prices of food, in affordable transportation, in electricity supply, in job opportunities and in their general standard of living.

You cannot keep telling a hungry man that the economy is improving while he is struggling to afford two decent meals a day.

The ultimate measure of good governance is not the number of reforms announced, but how much those reforms improve the lives of the people.

These equipment were some of the items imported from the 16 billion dollars Obasanjo expended during his term as president. They were meant to be used for the National Integrated Power Plant project he came up with.
The project was split into different parts among different contractors. There was no blueprint and it was more or less a free for all for cronies of the president. These imported equipment were meant to be installed in power plants awarded to other contractors. Those plants either never got built, remained unfinished or were built but with no consideration of how gas will get to them.

The persons who were given the contract to import these equipment, simply imported them and abandoned them at the ports since they had nowhere to deliver them to.

The current admin is about to go around seeking a 21 billion dollar loan. In 2003, this country wasted 16 billion dollars and did not generate a single megawatt of power. The Nigerian rot has festered for long.

The funds wasted in the costal highway would have been sufficient to maintain the majority of the federal roads in Nigeria. With the approach to governance in Nigeria, one can only conclude that Tinubu is a roadside carpenter who has presented himself as a civil engineering graduate, TINUBU MUST GO.

I’m not fan of ANY Politician.. But since I can remember any President, as far back as Babangida, NO PRESIDENT HAS EVER IMPLEMENTED Even a scratch of REFORMS/POLICIES AS TINUBU has done!

These exact reforms are what have developed foreign countries that people run to. I’ve been based abroad and witnessed this firsthand.
