WizardOfNG: What Soludo is doing is badly needed , visionary and brave. Other leaders should support him with it. Mass poverty and illiteracy has left Nigerians at the mercy of religious leaders who peddle false hope of miracles and "divine intervention"..
It really is a very serious problem that must be tackled. For Nigeria to be great, we must deliberately reduce the influence of religion in national life and accentuate STEM.

Politics › Re: 2027: Why Opposition Parties Should Rethink Zoning Presidency To South – Atiku by commoditiesnig(m): 3:08pm On May 11 |
“The first and most obvious question is this: how does a Southern opposition candidate realistically unseat a sitting Southern president ? Nigerian political history offers no precedent for such an outcome.
“No incumbent president has ever been defeated by an opposition challenger from the same geopolitical bloc. To insist otherwise is to enter the contest already defeated,” the statement said. Not an Atiku fan, but to be honest, he's right on this.. Spot on fact! As it stands, No Southerner Aspirant/Candidate can defeat the incumbent president.. that's a fact! |

Politics › Re: Atiku Picks ADC Presidential Nomination Form (Pictures) by commoditiesnig(m): 4:11pm On May 09 |
Avedonn: Peter Obi does not fully understand the political dynamics in the North. The core northern states will not vote for a joint ticket with Kwankwaso, as they view Kwankwaso as a spoiler. Just observe carefully, how many states does Kwankwaso actually command followers in, aside from Kano and parts of Jigawa? How many politicians have defected from other parties to the NDC from the North since he left the ADC? The NDC has no grassroots presence in the North.
Atiku will also face challenges, as he may not achieve the required spread in the South. So, in my opinion, the odds favor Tinubu. Although he is not widely popular, his party has the necessary geographical spread. Spot on analysis |
