Obaseki was busy fighting everyone. People should learn that power is transient. Use your power wisely while looking ahead to when that same power is gone. One thing is certain...no one will support obaseki for any elective positionhe wants to vie for. He is not a trusted ally. His distrust by Edo people sort of effected his candidate. |
MadamVanessa:I am not In support of this government but Sunday dare is not an illiterate. He obviously made a mistake or it could just be a case of him moving with the wrong crowd and then getting their inefficiency rubbing off on him. Sunday dare is too big for this mistake sha. |
No |
His loss just increased abit more |
Am not surprised she is a bini girl |
IbeOkehie:You obviously don't have the full information. |
God1000:They are not trapped..they refused to come out because of fear of been arrested. Their lives are in their hands. |
I support the SA government on this. It is not like the miners are trapped. They knew they were embarking on an illegal operation. They will only stay if they prefer to die rather than be arrested. Their choice...their life. |
All this scam people. I was just scrolling on palmpay when I mistakenly touched loan of 20k and was immediately approved. I decided to return the money back immediately. The interest was about 5k or 8k( am not sure) for something that was less than a minute. I was even told if I told pay back in 3 days ..it will yield more more interest of about 10k. The thing shock me. |
The same lie buhari sold Nigerians for 8 years. |
Not many believes in this man. Am sure it is partly because of those around him and his inability to clearly define his election manifesto. I have never seen such display of uninspired confidence at an incoming governor. I hope he disappoints all naysayers for Edo people's sake. I doubt that though. |
MALLEOLUS2017:Be calming down. No be fight. Na just my opinion....No need for your aggressive response. |
ojesymsym:Yes. You made a valid point. That's why I suspect they work in collaboration with some people in TCN. That's my candid belief. |
In front page twice. But how can people be so bold to tamper with such high transmission line. I suspect someone in control room will inform them that there is no power transmission on that line before they start Vandalization. That's the only way I suspect these people can operate successfully otherwise they turn to burnt offering when that line is energised and they do this. |
MALLEOLUS2017:You left the trinity and mentioned a woman that was blessed amongst women..... A mortar like you to show you are a proud Catholic. This is why People believe that Catholics gives too much reference to Mary. Some even say Catholics worship Mary. It is comments like this that butresss such belief. Sacred heart of Mary people. |
TheChameleon:Please enlighten me. What is wrong with CNG in Edo state? |
So what? So if black people are not qualified to be on her cabinet.she should force them in just because they are black? This is a major reason Nigeria is where she is. Nepotism and sacrifice of excellence on the basis of who know you. UK uses merit for placement and that is a reason she is doing so well. We should learn to put round peg in round hole irrespective of personality. |
ednut1:So you actually believed their one sided submission? Does it not bother you that up until she decided to contest for miss South Africa, None of these came up? The moment they knew she had Nigerian root trying to become miss South African .. their only goal was to bring her down by all means. Let's even assume her mother was guilty, why would an innocent baby at the time be made to suffer for something she knows nothing about even to the extent they have done and still doing? |
I wonder how some people will fall for this kind of things. Maybe there is something I am not understanding |
Shame no dey catch na?. Just see the rubbish excuse that a special adviser is giving. It is advisers like this that is derailingTinubu presidency. What a bulaba situation Nigeria is in! |
Dreambeat:You are so right. No game plan. The USA team would have been suprised how easily they won this. The girls are limited tactically and too many individual errors in decision making. Very disappointing match not because they lost but because they did not even put up a proper fight. |
Shame on nairaland. The country is playing..it is not on the front page but Barca and Man city and other leagues are always in the front page. So much for patriotism. Charity should start at home. |
A country as big as Nigeria should not be relying on national grid for distribution to every state. Power stations should be decentralised such that each state can be independent of the other |
BABANGBALI:No...we meet in the cafe where naija food are sold. Except we go way back or you are family. |
Thiefobi1:You are so right on this. I gave one Nigerian friend a personal reference in a job he applied for. The guy went and told his would be employers that I was his former supervisor in my workplace and that we have worked together for over 8 months. Someone living in another county and have never stepped leg in my workplace. Long story short. I was queried in my workplace when his would be employer wrote to verify his claim. I had to explain my side of the story. The company investigated and somehow found me not guilty. The guy refused to pick my call and even respond to my messages. Since then I avoid association with Nigerians apart from the usual hello and hi. |
naijaboy756:You people will always talk for the sake of it. Looking at these girls , what makes almost all of them different from the average 17 years old you see around you? One of them is even 14 years. Harmony chidi, peace effiong can easily pass for primary school pupils. Onyedikachi ekezie might be over 17 but I also know that some people appears to mature more than their age. Move with the tide bro, age grade cheating has reduced drastically because of Some measures like the MRI scan. |
phr0nesis:Apparently...you did not watch the game. |
Is that not 1k credit alert? |
Rather than facing issues to improve living standard in their states, Effc and icpc is their problem. Agreed that these agencies are not effective but for the governors to go against them, it probably means they are scared due to their financial recklessness. They wants to go about their nefarious activities without fear of been summoned especially after leaving office. These people are only after whatever favours them...it is never about the masses. |
nairalanda1:Don't get me wrong. Am not mocking you. I was only trying to point out the difference. The one in UK happened due to misdiagnosis because of the similarities in symptoms present while the Nigerian case was just negligence of treatment due to I don't care nature. Look at it this way....the likelihood of death occuring in the Nigerian case if it had happened in a UK hospital is very low but the UK case will fool most doctors given the same conditions. It is not to say we don't have good doctors in Nigeria. It is just the difference in circumstances and complexity am trying to point out. I made mention of your profile because of the kind of "ways of winning argument in nairaland" topic you have created. It gives you off as one who is ready to argue endlessly. |
nairalanda1:I just went through your profile. Enjoy your day. |
nairalanda1:Please read the full story https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/09/15/girl-died-sepsis-after-being-sent-home-by-gp-hospital/#:~:text=An%20eight%2Dyear%2Dold%20girl,symptoms%20of%20Group%20A%20Strep. except you are talking about a different one. The signs were acknowledged as a current viral symptom. They had no space in the hospital (am sure you know about the NHS issues) so they asked her to go home due to lack of hospital space for what they consider trivial illness due to symptoms almost like Group A Strep, A prevalent illness at the time and easily treatable by taking lots of fluids and ibuprofen. If they had space free, they would have kept her in the hospital and would have treated her when signs of sepsis started showing. My point is that this case is different from the gross and plain negligence shown in this Nigerian Case. |
Would absence of Ave Maria comment change their thinking towards Catholics? Stop quoting me to yarn trash.
