PoliticsGovernment Hiring Thieves To Help Catch Thieves by CompuEsther(op): 4:16am On Oct 23, 2013
This is real. Security chiefs have recommended that the easiest way to catch thieves is to use thieves. I think it makes sense. But, who will apply? Who will agree that he is a thief? How will the workers be sourced?

IslamMuslim Man Survives Death By Hanging, Found Alive In The Mortuary The Following by CompuEsther(op): 10:58am On Oct 22, 2013
This piece of news reports about a Muslim man from Iran who survived hanging recently. He was found alive in the mortuary a day after his 'body' was deposited there. He is now in coma and the authorities are considering the possibility of rehanging him. Muslim jurists are debating whether to re-hang him or not. Amnesty International wants him freed. My question now is for you the reader: should he be hanged or released? Another question: can this be the act of God or juju? The source also gives two other accounts of Christians that survived several hanging attempts. Are these miracles or just chances? or what?

Christianity EtcCould These Gun Men Be Pastors? They Quote The Bible So Well To Support Themselv by CompuEsther(op): 6:54pm On Oct 20, 2013
Why is the Bible always an easy recourse for people to support every whim and caprice? I have just read about a group of gun rights activists who were protesting only yesterday, and are asking to be allowed to carry long guns openly in public places, AND THEY WERE QUOTING BIBLE PASSAGES to support themselves!

The above link is quite misleading. It is about SUBSCRIPTION instead of CONFIGURATION. I found a good post on configuration here instead: http://currentdetails..com/2013/10/blackberry-settingsconfiguration-for.html. I hope this has helped someone.
Nairaland GeneralNews: A Fisherman Caught A Fish That Was So Big He Made A Distress Phone Call by CompuEsther(op): 7:13am On Oct 11, 2013
If not that this piece of news contained names of real places and people, I would have thought it impossible. How could a fisherman be afraid of a fish he himself has caught? After all, is he not used to the trade? Even if the fish was as big as the whole world, it shouldn't be much of a big deal to him.

However, my view on this, is that there is a spiritual side to it. I don't think the fish was an ordinary fish. Now, before you begin to brand me 'superstitious', 'archaic' or whatever, we should be careful not to write off the existence of such things as Mammy Water, Queen of the Coast, etc. After all, are these phrases not white man's language? If it exists in their language, it exists in their consciousness also. Well, i'm not also saying by this, that whatever the white man says is true is true. What I am saying instead is that we learnt the attitude of waving things aside as superstitious from the white man and now we can't claim to be more Catholic than the Pope. I expect your views any way. Read the original news here: http://234breakingnews..com/2013/10/the-fish-was-so-big-fisherman-was.html

r231: Hey All,...The only rule is their is no rule whatsoever so go ahead and enjoy peeps.
Please correct this: This sentence should have read, 'the only rule is there (not 'their') is no rule whatsoever...etc. I mean, we all can make a mistake. Please, after correcting it, kindly remove this my observation to avoid letting future observers know the mistake was ever made. Thanks.
TravelAn Air Plane Lands Safely On A Busy California Road: Compare This With The Agagu by CompuEsther(op): 7:11am On Oct 06, 2013
On Thursday 4th October 2013 - about the same time the plane carrying the body of Dr. Olusegun Agagu crashed in Lagos Nigeria - another plane was crash landing in USA. For me, this shows that anything can happen anywhere. But the parallel coincidence seems to hold a message. In the US emergency landing that could have become a fatal crash but for the pilot's extraordinary skill, the pilot and the only passenger on board (a student pilot on training) came out totally unhurt. Although the event occurred on a busy road during the rush-hour traffic, no body was hurt. This seems to prove that the problem with Nigeria is not so much due to leadership failure as it is due to lack of individual commitment. If crashes occur due to poor aviation infrastructure, then both Nigeria and USA were equally indicted in the aviation mishaps. But, if a pilot's personal dexterity can save a situation, then the difference is clear between USA (or any other good place) and Nigeria. See a picture of the California emergency landing at http://234breakingnews..com. Please, post your view on this.

Ah, Tekno? Sounds like a Chinese phone brand name. Meanwhile, I'm happy for him.
