You see that guy standing beside Gov. Ambode? That is Joseph David. This is the 2nd time I'm seeing this guy begging for one minute to perform on stage, which I believe he must have been doing for long. The great entertainer D'banj was performing when the guy said:
JOESEPH DAVID: Please I want to perform for one minute
D'BANJ: O fe perform fun One minute? Oya dey come stage.
(D'banj turns to the crowd)
Shey make we give this guy access for one minute?
CROWD: Y-E-S-S-S-S-S-S
D'BANJ: What's your name?
JOESEPH DAVID: (Speaks so fast) My name is Joseph David
D'BANJ: Whats your stage name?
JOESEPH DAVID : My stage name is Joseph David
D'BANJ: JD Correct, oya perform for just one minute.

JD grabs the mic and started his performance. What a wonderful performance... The crowd started thrilling.

D'banj grabs the mic back.
D'BANJ: Thumbs � or thumbs down � for JD. (You can guess the crowd's response.)

D'BANJ : They love you... But we are in Lagos, I'm not the owner of the platform... But we gotta take permission... (turns to Governor Ambode) Sir, should he come and see you?

(JD throws away his shoes and it flew away into the midst of the amazed crowd).

AMBODE: Let him come.
(Due to the number of crowd, Ambode asked him to stay back so he can join him on stage... Ambode was on stage in no time).

AMBODE: We just want to say a big thank you to D Banj for the opportunity to bring out this kind of talent impromptu. I was just going to say D Banj should mentor him and in addition to that, my initial contribution is to give him N2.5million.

(And that was how JD's luck reeled out).

People shed tears of joy for this guy mehn.
He came there alone... And he left with about 5 bodyguards...

Well she received another #100,000 from a company who saw it wise to reward her. Kudos.

So an employee of @Africlearn saw the story of my University prize award on social media and raised it to the AfricLearn Management. The company sent me an email congratulating me and said they have decided to compliment my University award with an additional N100K and asked me to provide my account details. They have since credited my account with the N100k. While I really appreciate the award from my lovely Uni (UNN) I am particularly humbled by @AfricLearn 's kind gesture and use this opportunity to thank them and wish their company all the best they deserve.
