Hey guys the battle is not between us on this forum lets stop calling one another names, but lets discuss like the educated people we are.

I have a question for those that have been attacking Koro, how come INEC did not disqualify him based on AC's claims on the website?

PoliticsRe: Can U Be President Without Blood On Ya Hands by con9ja: 9:53am On Mar 31, 2007
I think the best person to answer that question is someone who has been a president, maybe like a clinton make sure u don't ask any military head of state.
PoliticsRe: Busted! Asp Presidential Candidate by con9ja: 7:50pm On Mar 29, 2007
This is so sad, first it was Koro now Adedoyin, but the beautiful thing about it is that in the very near future at thhis rate the dirty politicians will know it's no longer business as usual and all these thieves won't come out to run if they know their sins will find them out, it's high time we research and leaders and begin to vote people with integrity,

It's just sad like Afam said that INEC doesn't have the power to disqualify but u know what we can use our votes, and every form of media to let the wold know the candidates b4 they vote and that's why i welcome the idea of debates and stuff even though the locals don't watch somehow the information gets down to them,
PoliticsRe: Who Will Rule Lagos Come May 2007? by con9ja: 7:49pm On Mar 29, 2007
@hoao62

I agree with u on the integrity thing. It is the main thing lacking, i also believe it's time for change and as far as I am concerned Agbaje seems to be one person that stands for change, and all this talk of him not having experience, let's give him a chance and if after 4yrs he doesn't perform(which i doubt strongly) then we can revert to our so called 'experienced hands'

streetcyph:
well, you all did not watch the debate.

with regards to uninterrupted power supply, nepa has been unbundled, it is no longer monopolized. it will be a private sector initiative. basically, private companies will buy the rights to power in certain areas in lagos. and sell it directly to businesses and private people. sort of what they have in america (BGE).

i have the tape to the debate. i think it will do evryone a good service if i posted the video up. that way all the questions you are raising about mr pedro, you will adress them there.
I watched the debate and it did not address the pts i have raised.but like hoao62 said post it 4 those who didn't it to be the judge.
PoliticsRe: Who Will Rule Lagos Come May 2007? by con9ja: 10:14pm On Mar 26, 2007
This Forum is getting more and more interesting by the day, but you see the problem i have with some of you Pedro fan's is that you are not addressing issues raised, now to compound matters for Pedro i understand at the1million match he collected about 70,000 CVs and promised them jobs within 1yr in govt, now even if he owes shell or mtn or even 1st bank/zenith bank is that how you just give out jobs, pls someone should pls tell him the face of politics in this nation is changing, it's no longer business as usual, i guess the reason why pple are on he's case is that we expected much more from him, i am personally dissappointed that someone who has been in govt can come out and be making promises like providing jobs for 70,000 pple in 1yr or ensuring we all have uninteruptted power supply within 2yrs of him in govt, my questions are what did he do as a deputy Governor, how many jobs did he provide? why can't Tinubu entrust the tressury with him? and what happened in GTB?FP should address these issues,
PoliticsRe: Who Will Rule Lagos Come May 2007? by con9ja: 7:29am On Mar 24, 2007

PoliticsRe: Who Will Rule Lagos Come May 2007? by con9ja: 8:34pm On Mar 23, 2007
Debosky i think you should ask someone who is objective and not baised about the debate,
PoliticsRe: Who Will Rule Lagos Come May 2007? by con9ja: 7:46pm On Mar 23, 2007
For those who missed the debate i can bet John Momoh will most likely show a repeat of it, alot of people who watched it via dstv complained.
Now i think everyone is free to air he's or jer opinion it's a free world i don't think anyone should abuse anybody for voicing out how they feel, I think it's time we have a change in this country and move to the next level, you guys are abusing Jimi Agbaje because he has refused to think and talk like the average politician i guess most of u people are used to people making promises like you will have light in 6mthns and 8yrs down the line we are worse of than where we started, Jimi Agbaje as far as i'm concerned stands for a change, people say he has no experience to rule lagos, some people we know ruled for 4yrs got experience and ruled for another 4yrs and we are worse off, unfortuniately all this noise we are making doesn't count, what counts is who will go out come 14 aprill, instead of us abusing ourselves why don't try and see how the rigging can be reduced to the bearest minimum and contribute our own quote (don't ask me how, that's for u to find out) or better still let nairaland members come together and say enough is enough of all this rubbish in goverance,
