The euro is not likely to see lasting relief from the outcome of a highly anticipated European Union summit, with investors skeptical that the deal reached in Brussels will end the region's debt crisis. On Friday, EU leaders sketched the plan to enforce budgetary discipline across 26 of the EU's 27 nations. But the lack of unanimity, most notably from stiff opposition by the U.K. meant that countries would have to enforce the agreement as an understanding between economies rather than a treaty.

So think twice. Look before you leap.

Concept, I must confess that you are very good & intelligent in this business but you need to be very patience and discipline. Learn to stare at your charts at an interval time. Meanwhile positive news is coming out of the EU Summit and I'm positioning myself to go long on EU which is already aligning to my trading system.

I think I know where you are coming from. I also have a system here that gets violated by my emotion most times & I believe has it been mechanical I would have sailed thru. I set it on Bollinger Band & Ichimoku. I think we can share idea. (skypekitty4)

EU ~ One more last move to 1.335x to 1.336x. I think before going down. I believe 1.326x is reachable today.

In my opinion EU is shortable @1.3330 now

short eu now may not be wise because no country may like to see his economy and currency drag to the mud. The eu head of states may come out with a lasting solution to the euro problem thereby taking the euro pairs to the roof. If you ask me i will say my bias is BUY EU & GU. I started buying gu and eu since yesterday and i have lots of pending orders to buy more eu and gu in case the price fall more.

Comparing the results of my newly developed Forex ROBOT posted on pages 35, 39, 41 and 61 , on LIVE DEMO trading, and not back testing for close three weeks, i think am prep for REAL MONEY. The leak of EU draft say they want new fiscal compact - may be positive for risk if there is movement towards some institutional structure.

My piece of advice, do not open position overnight, fx market seems crazy this time, EU,GU may go either way.

I trade 15min, 1hr & 4hrs combined to have a position taken without leaving much behind.

my position for eu and gu is short but bullish statement is what scares me off, ''the french finance minister said that the leaders of france and germany would not leave friday's EU SUMMIT until a 'POWERFUL' deal is reached to restore market trust and prevent the sovereign debt crises spiraling out of control.'' if they achieve this powerful deal it will take eu and gu to the roof(north) which they stressed that they must achieve. But if they don't it will send eu to 1.2xxx. Am already selling the two pairs on my own risk. After all, news are part of the noise in the market.

What do you think is going to happen if the news is positive for Euro?

I'm beginning to doubt that EU Summit. Merkel/Sarkozy wan force fiscal policies on member-nations with strong sanctions. Even if I am one of the member-nations leader, I won't accept their proposal for them to control my own country and make me a dummy. It's may even end up in a chaos. I feel strongly that it may end up in a bearish note though my system dey tell me to buy.

That is the way I am seeing it here, to buy EU but with this your hint I must close every position by 11am GMT. News/sentiment is important in this fx. I think 1.3450 is a good bus stop(TP) for my long 40 pips.

well for eu, yes maybe a little bit up to that level but gu is not looking to go pass 1.573x
