PoliticsRe: State Police Constitutional Framework Near Completion - Bayo Onanuga by ConDawah: 8:32pm On Jun 05
lawani:
You are right. However they will use professionals. Even Amotekun is using professionals and when you join as a graduate or recruit, you will undergo training. Most of these things you are asking for will happen automatically. You can't win elections and sack all the police, just like you can't sack all the teachers as they are civil servants. There is also a limit to how you can tinker with the leadership of any part of the civil service. The police can respond to emergency but they can not use firearms anyhow as such can land them in jail. They can patrol their jurisdiction and this is a thing they can do which a private security can not do. They can arrest someone too with a warrant or invite someone for questioning which a private security outfit can't do too. If you say the leadership should be elected by the assembly to bypass the governor I will agree. In some countries, they even elect judges but to just say state police can't work in Nigeria is what I can't agree with
State Police should ideally answer to department of justice, not the executive. That's the needed check, not all these unwarranted fear because some people feel it will hinder their agenda.
PoliticsRe: INEC Wrong To De-Recognise David Mark-Led ADC Leadership - Says Ex-INEC Director by ConDawah: 9:21am On Apr 04
JikSneh:
TINUBU WILL GIVE THE NORTH 5% IF HE WINS IN 2027

If you are a youth from the North following me, I want you to pay careful attention to this post because your life depends on it.

❌Atiku is against Tinubu

❌Kwankwaso is against Tinubu

❌El'Rufai is against Tinubu

❌Tambuwal is against Tinubu

❌David Mark is against Tinubu

❌Bala Mohammed is against Tinubu

These are the most prominent and influential northern political leaders, and they are all against him because they have watched him preside over the most disastrous tenure in the history of our country.

What does that tell you? The North is against Tinubu.

And what is the implication?

The implication is that if, per chance, Tinubu manoeuvres his way into Aso Rock in 2027, he will deal mercilessly with the North for fighting him.

What Buhari did to the Igbos for 8 years is exactly what Tinubu will do to the North for the next four years.

Buhari openly told the Igbos that he would give them 5% only because they didn't vote him. But I am afraid that Tinubu may not even give up to that 5% to the North.

He will witch-hunt them all on sides.

He has started with El'Rufai. But that one is nothing compared to what will happen if you make this mistake of allowing him to rig his way.

I therefore use this opportunity to call on the Arewa youths to rise up and resist Tinubu with everything in you.

Take this message back to your people and let them know what is at stake.

The worst thing that can happen to the North is to have Tinubu in power for another four years.

Don't say that I didn't warn you.
Oga, speak for yourself. There's nothing like North. North East, North West and North Central is what we have. Let the Fulani north decide who to vote for. We don't care. When are you going to support someone like me from the North Central to become the president when it's the turn of the bogus 'North'? Oh, I forgot, you'll re-translate your definition of Northerners when it's time to share largesse. All of una dey mad!
Tinubu will handover power to someone from Kwara or Kogi State in 2031. You think say you wise abi?

Ok I put this as a challenge to you and everyone you know, I give you from now till the end of the month, Name one country from which you can import fuel from and be able to sell it in Nigeria under N1500,I hope this is an adult conversation, so go on look for any country where you can import petrol from and sell at pump price Under N1500.
Landing cost is not more than #820. Any reason you'd suggest the marketers sell at #1500 and above? Because I don't really understand.

Who says we're still paying subsidy? Oga, this is free market. You can import fuel from pluto if you like, but be sure you are not getting paid to sell
PoliticsRe: Laven Denty Supports Security With Torchlights In Pankshin South Constituency by ConDawah: 8:49am On Mar 20
Meektunz:
A Plateau State House of Assembly Member representing Pankshin South Constituency used Torchlight to empower his people.

What a shame.
When you encourage mediocrity, this is what you get. When my cousin was a councilor, he empowered more than 200 people with barbing and hair saloon kits, big generator included. See what a supposed lawmaker lawbreaker is not ashamed to be associated with as an empowerment?
I blame the society he's in. They allowed it. Do this in ekiti state for instance and you're fvcked. I mean really fvcked, but no politician will even try it, not even a councilor.

Have you finished lamenting?
Lamenting about what? They can wipe out the entire West Bank for all I care. Israel will move in once they did. What's there to lament about? Oga, tell Iran to level the Al-Qasa mosque and the dome of the rock in West Bank if they're serious. I'm sure more people will be killed there if they can achieve that.

Ok, I now get you! So the the security council report says Iran should stop attacking it's neighbours but it did not stop US from launching attacks from countries that are neighbours to Iran? Wow! That's brilliant. Clap for the Security Council please!
If you sponsor terror groups in my country, I'm free to allow any friendly nation to defend me. And no, the attacks are not even coming from these countries. If you disagree, please where is your evidence that USA launched any offensive against Iran from Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Qatar or UAE?

Israel is hitting Gaza which is the den of Hamas terrorists, and Iran is hitting West Bank which is supposed to the dwelling place of Gazan brethren, but your hatred for Israel did not let you realize Iran is doing something worse than what Israel is doing in Gaza. On what ground did they decide to fire missiles into Palestine? Yeye dey smell.

Maybe you don't even know mecca has no water too. 😂

Lol...

They sponsored terrorism or USA and Israel told you they did?

CIA didn't sponsor terrorism? MOSSAD didn't sponsor terrorism? Common man!

Looking at this war alone, who's behaving like a terrorist? The person that was attacked unprovoked or the people that attacked someone. The western media has pushed so much propaganda and it's just sad people can't do their own research.

Do you even know Israel is trying to buy a percentage of ticktock so they'll have control over the algorithm and use it to push propaganda? Now what is the age range of majority of ticktock users? 13-16yrs. They want to start embedding hatred into kids.

And Iran is the terrorist? Lol.
Who are the primary sponsors of Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthis? I hope you know these groups are non-state actors, except maybe Hamas which is the government in Gaza?
I'm sure you'd like boko haram to have the kind of influence Hezbollah and Houthis have in Lebanon and Yemen respectively , so they fully achieve their aims in Nigeria.
The fact is clearly stated in the report and the people that stated it are not Americans or Israelis, but I don't expect you to agree. Shey Israel just woke up and decided to be killing people in Iran? Whatever makes you sleep well at night.

Hezbollah does not attack Lebanon but they defacto government in some places. Would you like boko haram equal influence in Nigeria? Yeye dey smell

I would have been surprised if you said anything sensible.

A country was attacked without any provocation from these same "neighbours" by another country that has bases there and you expect them to just keep quiet and be dancing alanta? Lol.

If you drag in a termite infested wood into your home, expect to have lizards as visitors.

At the moment, Iran has absolutely nothing to lose. Is it their supreme leader you'll kill? He's dead! Is it their ministers? Most of them are dead? Is it their warships? Destroyed! Is it their children? Started bombing them already! So what exactly do you expect from an injured bear? It's going to lash out in all directions and make sure it doesn't go down alone. Since you can choose outsiders over your neighbor, don't expect any compromise from the same neighbor.

Iran played by the rules for so long and it only brought them pains. Getting bombed 2 different times during negotiations. Who does that? They have no nuclear weapons, Israel does. They are not committing a genocide, Israel is. They are not bombing schools and hospitals, Israel is. Yet they are the devils. Talking about sovereignty when you allowed your countries to be used as bases to attack a sovereign country. Is that not hypocrisy?
What could be more provoking than sponsoring terror groups in other countries?

They haven't addressed the elephant in the room.

They should be bold enough to condemn the unprovoked aggression on Iran, and refrain from making their countries available for the aggressors.

It takes some level of hypocrisy for anyone not to condemn this needless war, reason why other countries have stayed away from it.
You're the one ignoring the elephant in the room.

The "Terror Lord" title belongs solely to Iran.
Or should we believe you instead of the nations that are affected?

You also ignored the very fact that Iran has been sponsoring terror groups in these nations before now, but I guess that's OK?

Before anyone should take you seriously, first answer, is it OK to sponsor terrorists to destabilize them like Iran has been doing, or that's allowed?

Ndi "Iran was attacked unprovoked". So it's ok to be sponsoring terrorists groups to destabilize other countries?

Once again, 7 million for a flat in Abuja is the norm in the districts. That is even at the lower end.... less comfortable places.
7m will get you a comfortable apartment in places like Maitama and Guzape. I don't really know your definition of comfort, but 7m annual rent in Abuja is never low-end, at least, not in 2026. I live in a 2-bedroom serviced apartment in Abuja, so I can speak to that.
PoliticsRe: Crashing Food Price Would Make Farmers Poor - Peter Obi by ConDawah: 3:42pm On Feb 28
Macphenson:
That headline is misleading. Listen to Peter Obi and understand that the Person that wrote the headline is mischievous.

Peter Obi was mak8ng reference to basic foods being imported, which have automatically killed farming. Manufacturing houses have been turned to warehouses of imported foods which is not a good one for the country.
In line with his consistent slogan, he said he would move the country from consumption to Production. Now we are importing basic foods we should plant that simply means we have killed farming and farmer's business in Nigeria.

Of course it will come with serious consequences.

People up there can't comprehend. They don't even have data to listen to Peter Obi.
We also manufacture most of the things obi is importing for sale at Next. How about that?
PoliticsRe: Crashing Food Price Would Make Farmers Poor - Peter Obi by ConDawah: 3:38pm On Feb 28
JuanDeDios:
******* It will. People are already gnashing their teeth. Some farmers have debt. The other day, someone sold his cassava farm for opueke price to herdesmen to feed their cattle.

But Nigerians don't care. They're not interested. Government no send. In a couple of years when high prices come around again, they will wail and cry endlessly about "greedy farmers" and "meedle men".
There's no way any country will experience high food prices for two consecutive years. It's basic economics.
What we're witnessing in general low price of agricultural produce is in direct response to scarcity witnessed in the previous year. We just need to ensure the surplus don't go to waste, and not create artificial scarcity to please the farmers. Most of us are also farmers in our own right.
God forbid this charlatan finds his way to our national life, never.

Reasonable government will help the farmers to make food cheaper.

Making the farmers rich at the expense of the whole I believe is a better alternative to you.
