The fact that a person or group of persons do not do life the exact way you do or the exact style that you do doesn't mean something is wrong with the person. God created billions of us and he made us unique and different. So if someone fails to accept your philosophy, way of life or maybe in some cases "culture" it doesn't mean he or she is abnormal.
You can fail to agree with a person and be respectful about it. Your philosophy is not designed to be forced upon others.
Respect is earned, however there is the default respect that everyone deserves whether they've earned your respect or not.

The FBI has finally revealed the name of the shooter in the Wisconsin school shooting incident.
Natlie Rupnow known by everyone in Abundant Life Christian School as "Samantha" is the name of the shooter.
The motives of her shooting is not quite clear but it's obvious from detailed investigations that she was an enrolled member at a shooting practice club with her Dad in Winscosin months before the incident.

Yes, we often think we give them our tithes, offerings, and submission on days of worship, what else do they want?

Should we still pray for them on top of all that?

The answer is "yes"

See, the office or positions of your G.Os, Pastors, Church Leaders cannot be compared to that of your political office holders.

Political office holders are only there for few years, 8 years, some 10, 12, some 20 no matter how long, a point comes when the politician will retire and only offer advise from the sidelines or from the VIP/VVIP stands.

Your G.O is on that seat for life (except he/she willingly steps aside, like Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo did so that younger folks can help with running the large KICC congregation).
This means; if a person becomes a G.O at the age of 20 and lives up to 99 years (I'm just giving this as an example). Such a fellow is on seat for 99-20 years = 79 years.

The advancement of social media has not just made it easier for us to reach out to lost souls with the gospel. It has also become an open door for the enemy to sow his tares.

I said once in one of my gospel video teachings that lots of people are jumping off the cliff because they're taking instructions from someone on social media that has lots and lots of followers.
I said that "the fact that that person has soooo many followers does not mean he/she is teaching you the truth"
An online influencer can have lots and lots and lots of followers but he/she could just be teaching you his/her own truth and not "The Truth" so the satanic campaigns of hate for preachers has gained the size of Mount Kilimanjaro recently and it's steadily heading towards the size of Mount Everest and I'm sure if social media remains for multiple decades on earth, it would snowball beyond the apex of Mount Everest.

Your lives depends on it!

The blindness of the spiritual leaders of Israel during the days of Jesus on earth led them to crucify Jesus. If someone had prayed for them and they noticed whom Jesus truly was, they would have sacked Herod sharp, sharp and crowned Jesus their King actually, but the blindness of those spiritual leaders then was strategic to enable the prophecies of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel and many ancient prophets to be fulfilled.
But did the geographical nation of Israel pay for that? Yes they did!
It's written all over history. (I'm on Israel's side though).

A few months ago, one of my favorite gospel singers had a noisy scandal, he was rapping at a secular award and made some very controversial statements amidst his rap lyrics and verses. The internet went berserk at once, as lots of stones of criticisms, condemnations etc etc started flying all over the net at him.
Isn't it the same Guy's album that I used to play in times of deep and dark depressions and the Spirit of God would descend upon me like a dove? Yes it's him, but what's happening?

No need to asks, let's pray for him!

Now here are 6 reasons why you need to pray for your spiritual leaders/ministers (I include myself):

1. They can get distracted: I'm telling you, there are lots of distractions here. No be small, it takes a lot of razor sharp focus to stay undistracted as a G.O so pray that God's Spirit will keep them focused because a distracted driver on the 3rd mainland bridge can drive y'all to Ijora instead of Iyana-Oworo.

2. They can bring a curse down on everyone instead of a blessing: You may not believe this but yes, if your General Overseer gets one thing wrong or takes one wrong step he/she can put everyone in bondage instead of freedom, just as the spiritual leaders of Israel did during the days of Jesus on earth.
If a lying spirit can possess all the prophets (except prophet Maicaiah) to ensure that God's judgment is delivered like a Glovo dispatch package upon King Ahab and Queen Jezebel, anything can happen, so pray for us.

3. They can get very discouraged: There is a difference between discouraged and very discouraged. When I say, your spiritual leader can get very discouraged, I mean he/she can really get very discouraged. So discouraged that the levels of how discouraged he/she is will shock you. Kindly pray for him/her.

4. They can be possessed by a demon or by the devil: Although he/she is anointed (and I have a friendly advise for you, never ever try to smack God's anointed), he or she can be possessed by the devil or by demons and begin to act up.
King Saul was an anointed individual but an evil spirit possessed him and he started acting up, he started trying to murder King David, etc etc
An Evil Spirit possessed King David and he wanted to carry out a census. His deputy in the army Joan tried to remind him that it was wrong but it's written that "The word of the King prevailed" just as the Senate President (Senator Goodswill Akpabio overruled the sessions of Hus deputy Senate leader, something like that happened and General/Captain Joan went about doing as King David commanded even though the King was wrong. What caused King David to do that? An evil spirit possessed him.
What about Apostle Peter being rebuked "Devil get thee behind me by Jesus" . . . beloved pray for your spiritual leader, anything can happen.

5. They can get hurt: yes although God warned us not to lay our claws or paws on any of them, some folks often love to test God by doing so, such folks have no fear for God and it would only take prayers from the saints to keep King Herod from killing Apostle Peter simply because he wanted to please the Jews. What levels of darkness can a King have in his soul, mind and spirit to want to slaughter God's servant just because it would cause the Jews to feel entertained or delighted? smh

6. They have personal needs, issues, obligations and families to look after: Except he/she is a celibate for life or is a lone wolf with no intentions to produce offsprings or children and drink the sweet wine of marital bliss, your spiritual leader has needs, issues, obligations and responsibilities.
In fact, na from this angle Satan dey tempt us pass.

"How can you be serving God and you can't pay your children's school fees? Your family dey roast you dey here dey preach, bla bla bla, bla bla bla" before you know it to do bad thing, infact to do something wey bad well well go dey hungry your Pastor. After all Eniola Badmus, but if you pray Eniola Badmus no go to do baaaad. There's a difference between bad and baaaaad!

Please pray for us.

The ministry of intercession is a wonderful department to join in your churches. It's a good way to hold up the hands of Moses so that Israel can win the war.

My reaction to Marc Cucurella's slip and fall twice during the Chelsea vs Tottenham game earlier today.

Marc Cucurella slipped and fell twice and each time he fell, he gave the opponents advantage to score against Chelsea, but the moment he changed his boots, all that stopped.

Chelsea later went on to win 4-3 from being 2 goals down.

The fact that Cucurella's performance changed after he changed the boots shows that

"sometimes your problems are not caused by you"

Finally, the tax reform bill will ensure that corruption is easily spotted and the corrupt persons arrested and penalized.
It is better for Nigeria in the long run than any other thing.
