Two members of a cell fellowship I belonged to then were discussing about fellowship management issues and they didn't know I was eavesdropping.
One brother suggested that I should be appointed to handle some fellowship matters, the other brother said expressly without wasting time "God forbid"

"Someone like Bro Constance cannot lead a Church or manage a fellowship"

I didn't feel bad at all because even at that time and moment, I didn't have any ambition to be a pastor or church manager of any sort.
At that time I was very satisfied with just showing up in Church and sitting in the congregation (i.e if I didn't sing with the choir).

If someone told me then that by this time I"m speaking to you, that i would have managed a church successfully for almost a decade now even in the midst of a storm that's folding ministries up right now, I would have thought that person was high (speaking proverbially).

Beloved do not doubt how much God can do through you and how much God can impact humanity with your life.

"What God cannot do does not exist"

These are not mere words.

How I kicked off RLGC, and how I got ordained an Apostle, it's very obvious God's Hand is at work.

Have Faith, never doubt how much God can do through you.

11 types of Persons who cannot be Gospel ministers (even if they want to): Pastor, Apostle, Reverend, Bishop, Archbishop, Evangelist, Music Minstrel, etc, etc
Being a Gospel Ministers is not a simple piece of cake that you can just gobble, clean your mouth and walk right back to chilling like nothing just happened.
It's a huge responsibility.
When I say huge, I'm not saying Elephant sized huge, the term huge in this context is the size of a thousand to ten thousand elephants and more.
Gospel Ministry is not a game you can play with kid gloves or kid boots. If you see anyone playing the game well he/she ain't a kid anymore (No matter how young or old the person is).
My aim of writing this article is to help those who're finding gospel ministry hard to do or struggling with being a gospel minister to either know why or to decide if they are designed for it or not.
If after reading this article you notice you're not cut out for gospel ministry, you can honorably resign and return back to the congregation. Don't feel ashamed, you simply can't do what you're not chiseled out for.
So with that out of the way here are 11 types of people or persons who cannot be Gospel ministers even if they want to do gospel ministry.

1. LAZY PERSONS: You cannot do gospel ministry if you're a lazy individual. God never called any lazy individual to work for him. If God knows you're lazy, he won't bother you with the onerous and burdensome task of being a gospel minister because you'll only do things that will piss him off. It's best you just chill in the congregation and consume what the excellent and honorable servant/steward of God has prepared for you. It's all about your ability.

(2.) GREEDY PERSONS: If you're the greedy and gullible type, forget gospel ministry because money will not be romantic with you. You can't last for 6 months in the game if you're the greedy kind of person. You will need to be patient and eat a lot of manna for a lot of times. If you're too proud or too classy to do that, forget gospel ministry because it just won't work. Greedy people who insist or force themselves to go into ministry manifest the same wickedness of Judas and Jesus has warned us to identity such kind of fellows by their fruits. The fruits they bear will tell us whom they really are.

(3.) PROUD INDIVIDUALS: You can't do gospel ministry if you're a proud or supercilious kind of person because God will humble you. In fact the word humble is an understatement. The levels of humility needed to be a successful gospel minister will look like absolute humiliation to you if you're the type that's just too proud to go that down or that deep or that low.
The humility of the gospel minister is the source of his or her depth in spiritual matters, the more humble you are, the deeper you'll go. Feel free to call that "The Deeper Life."

(4.) PERFECTIONISTS: If you're a perfectionist, you won't be able to do ministry well because you'll surely make a few mistakes along the way.
You'll fall sometimes, you'll waste money sometimes, you'll trust the wrong persons sometimes, few or many errors but God will pick all your errors and create a beautiful artwork or masterpiece.
So feel free to fail sometimes, make mistakes along the way, but don't give up and don't stop doing right.
Now the fact that mistakes are unavoidable doesn't mean you shouldn't make efforts to avoid making them. Make efforts to avoid making them but be at peace with yourself and with God if after all your efforts you ended up with an error. Such inevitable errors are building instruments in God's hands.

(5.) YOU HAVE A DESIRE OR AMBITION TO BE VERY RICH AND WEALTHY:
Beloved, if you fall into this category (even if you're not greedy or gullible), your ambition to amass wealth to the maximum won't allow you concentrate on the honorable task of gospel ministry.
This is because all your priority will be to run the ministry well, if your ambition is to get very rich and wealthy you won't be able to do that, so be content with chilling in the congregation and let a person consumed by the passion of fulfilling God's ministry serve you the divine delicacies.
You can support him or her as a Deacon/Deaconess if you feel like doing so.
God doesn't call men or women whose primary ambition is to get very rich and wealthy to do ministry, he leaves them in other sectors of society where they can be useful.

(6.) YOU LOVE WORLDLINESS AND LOVE TO LIVE A WORLDLY LIFE:
You love the showbiz, the glitters, the razzmatazz, and the ways of the world.
Gospel music is too boring to someone like you, gospel hymns annoy you, church services that last for two hours seem to you like 20 hours while a movie of 3 hours seem to you like 3 minutes.
If it's outside the church or any religious institution, it's a lot of fun.
Men/Women with priestly regalia irritate you. They only seem to want all the cash in your pocket, this and that. In fact if the government gets up and demolishes every church or religious institution on earth, the earth will look like a paradise to you.
Beloved, you see things this way because you're a worldly person.
You've 100% given your entire being and soul to the world, so anything that looks like God reminding you to return home annoys and irritates you.
A person like you cannot be a gospel minister. It just won't work.

(7.) YOU'RE GIFTED BUT YOU CHANNEL YOUR GIFTS TO THE WRONG CAUSES:
Many people are gifted. Some of the biggest secular celebrities are gifted and talented at what they do. Think of one mega celebrity on the big stage right now whom you know to be very gifted.
Their gift is God given, but some of them channel it to the wrong causes.
If you're gifted but have stomach upsets when you're asked to use your gifts for the church, forget gospel ministry, even if you can speak French or Latin without studying them in a language school, or you can wake the dead up with your sweet voice, you can't be a gospel minister.

(8.) YOU FIND IT HARD TO LOVE PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY STRANGERS:
It takes extraordinary grace and enablement from God for one to be able to love people. Especially strangers.
This is because we are are naturally nurtured to love the people who are closest to us, and be wary of strangers.
In ministry you will do a lot of great things with men and women who are different from you by nature and nurture.
If you're the type that finds it hard to love people who are different from you, gospel ministry will not work.
Even if it works at all you may only stop at the level of 3000 converts.
Why settle for 3000 converts when you can win 30000000. The person managing 3000000 men, women and children is doing something you find very hard to do.

(9.) YOU LOVE YOUR CULTURE AND TRADITION MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF:
Get ready for lots and lots of culture shocks and taboos that don't offend God but offends you when you desire to do gospel ministry.
You will see men and women who in all village meetings will be asked to keep mute and sit at the back, leading millions of souls to Christ.
You will see people whom ordinarily you won't give half a chance that they'll see the light of day in life, having all the daylight in existence even at night.
If you love your culture and tradition much more than you love even yourself, and much more than you love God, you can't be an exceptional or excellent gospel minister. Simply apply for the role of a traditional ruler not a gospel minister. Gospel ministry just won't work.

(10.) YOU HAVE STRONG/INTNSE POLITICAL AMBITIONS:
You can't do gospel ministry properly if you feel like doing something political as a life task or life career.
No doubt, there are born again political leaders who are anointed but they are designed for the political role, not the parochial role.
You can't be both, you have to be one.
If you choose to be parochial stay parochial, if you choose to be political stay political.

(11.) YOU LOVE PLEASING PEOPLE:
In ministry you have to love people.
Yes you can't succeed as a gospel minister if it's very obvious that you don't love people.
However just as we love our children and know that not everything we do that will work in their favour will please them, you must acknowledge that not everything you will do will please the people. Sometimes you will do what God loves and almost everyone will be displeased with you.
If you love pleasing people all the time, you can't be a successful gospel minister. Moses was destined to lead the people of Israel into the promised land. He wasn't supposed to die in the wilderness. He died in the wilderness because he loved pleasing his people more than pleasing God.
He wanted to please the Israelites so much that he didn't know when he struck the rock instead of talk with the rock as he was instructed by God.
If he hadn't struck that rock, it'd have been him taking the Israelites into the promised land not his successor Joshua.

(12.) YOU DON'T READ AND STUDY THE SCRIPTURES EXTENSIVELY:
If you don't read and study the scriptures extensively, if you've not completed a Genesis to Revelations marathon many times and found a lot of new revelations each time you did, if you don't cut the words into digestible pieces like you cut an onion while cooking, beloved gospel ministry is not for you.
Don't bother trying to do gospel ministry, it won't work.

If you have a Church, I'll never attend. Men of God like you can ruin lives with their over intellectual analysis of things that are above intellectual analysis.

What kind of Man of God will say Jesus was not a success? Okay Judas was a success?? Did you dissect the scriptures properly?

The Church is now bringing in too much secularism into itself. It's killing the faith of so many.

I'm a professional science teacher and lecturer by the way, but I keep that in the cupboard when core spiritual matters are being discussed.

Of course I would speak like the white man. Last last, the rest of the country caught up eventually. You were exposed to your environment. I was sheltered. We are both African, true and true. I wonder where I'd run to hide in Nigeria by now. God had long before 2023 warned me to stay far from politics and I'm glad I heeded God's warning. If I had ignored God's warning like Prophet Balaam did, what will I be preaching or saying to the masses right now?"
It's so sad this is happening. The President is completely detached from the people, no care, no compassion.
