A police man that was part of the squad that I spoke to still maintain that the plate number is fake since it is not on FRSC database. To them that is the only database they know. He also said that if they release the car, it may not be with the plate number since it is 'fake'. The DPO will have the final say when he arrives. After then I will know what to do.

You are just being gentle with them and putting yourself at the mercy of the DPO/whoever is in charge.

The only gear specialist I used to know here is Kashif and he has stepped away from transmission (according to him)

If you are sure your gear is defective again, I don't think that your it can an be repaired, stop wasting money trying to, you might need to buy another gear.

Did you recently work on your fuel pump? That noise is from your pump or go to any alignment shop, use their pit to trace where the noise is coming from since u are not convinced its the pump.

The 2005/6 Camry 4cylinder is matted to the U250E 5 speed transmission unit.

It is a very sensitive transmission unit that will not entertain any form of contamination .


One of the reasons this particular transmission fails is because most technicians work in environments that can easily facilitate contamination .

Major cause of failure is sand/dirt getting into the transmission from 2 places .

1. CV axle

2. Refill port

Another place that could cause failure in this transmission (and many others) is a damaged air vent which is located on top the transmission housing. The air vent I usually extended via a plastic joint and a rubber pipe, and raised to the level of the height of the dipstick, or close to the vehicles head cylinder. The reason the vehicle manufacturer raised the Vent that high was to limit the possibility of water entering into the transmission during driving in wet conditions that might involve water levels that would possibly submerge the transmission which is very common on most Nigerian terrains. When the plastic joint gets damaged it is easy for fluid from external sources to contaminate transmission .


Now to your present situation.

Vehicle is produced with a 5speed aka 13pin transmission which is currently failing.

What is recommended is a 4speed 10pin transmission .

The vehicle will move (the wonders of Toyota/Lexus) but when wiring it up installer has 5solenoid connections and 4 solenoids.what happens is vehicle will always skip a gear that will not be connected . The vehicle will no longer be able to downshift, and on every cycle of transmission shifts you will notice an uncomfortable thump.


I understand why most technicians avoid the U250E transmission, this is because in this part of the world we are not very smart, the engine sellers remove the CV axles from the transmissions and leave them bare which also is a possible cause of contamination , and because it is already a sensitive transmission the technician is already setup for failure before he starts the job.

My advice contact the transmission seller to supply and install transmission . He will provide part, oil and installer , and will give you a guarantee on work done , he will also replace transmission as many times as required until it works.

Pls I make use of a carmy V6, 04 model. I have been experiencing check engine Light on. I scanned the car it showed p0300,p0301,p0305 cylinder misfire. Have changed the plugs to newer ones, the whole six, cleaned the injector. After doing this I toot on a short trip the Cel light didn't appear, But still after going on the 2nd trip next day, CEL comes up, when I scan, the same code pops on....

I need help in resolving this issue. Kindly assist.

Since you have changed plugs and still same.
Swap ignition coils, take 1 to 2 and 5 to 6. Clear the code, let's see if the misfire will come to cylinder 2 and 6, if it does your ignition coils is bad but if it still remains on 1 and 5, there is an issue with the cylinder.

Hello house, my boy is barely one month old and he developed this skin issue. One of my colleagues said it is Ela(Yoruba) but from my experience, ela use to manifest as very red tiny rashes around the neck and joints.

2 door padded
3.tinted Lyon
4.Silver Door handle

7.change of car stereo to the display one,that will come with reverse camera
8. You can change the paint to black, white or any colour of you choice . you can also get colour of your choice from colour chart.

If you can take the car to ladipo for your love-vendor chioce, its a day processing, they will do it for and later you will go and spray the car with over bake,
