PigMeat: That you all @ cooboy ndsmelody efewestern y'all contributions were really helpful . Here is another question (1) Prove that limx~>0 (sinx/x)=1 (2) Evaluate limx~>0 (x^3+x^2/x^2) Using l'hopitals rule (1) Lim x->0 (sinx/x), (sin (0)/0) =0 dy/dx = lim x->0 (cosx/ 1) Lim x->0 ( cos (0)/1) = 1/1 = 1.. 2. Using same l'hopitals rule Lim x-> 0 (x^3+x^2/x^2) =0 , dy/dx = lim x->0 (3x^2+2x/2x) = (3(0)^2+2(0)/2(0)) = 0. We reapply l'hopitals rule again to get a variable answer Dy/Dx Lim x->0 (6x+2/2) (6(0)+2/2) = 1... Mad I'm late to answer this |

Lim x^2-81. (X-9)(x+9) -------- = ------------ X - 9 X-9 The x-9 cancels X--> 9
Lim x --> 9 (9+9) = 18 As x tends to 9 on x - 9 it's discontinuity is on 18 |

johnne87: Hello, Everybody Please I want to know if it is possible for an international student who was admitted into a university in Usa to transfer to a college in Usa without going to the university or probably the student did not complete his/her registration and want to change to a college, Is there any need for him/her to contact the university before the transfer? Please let me know the procedure for transfer. Thank Yes it is possible, your university has your records, so you have to inform them about the transfer, or else they would not transfer your SEVIS to the college you Tryna go. Mind you, you can only transfer your SEVIS records when you are in the US only, and not from Nigeria. Procedure: When you get to the US, inform your university you want to transfer to another school. Easy, they would ask you to send the college's I20 so they can process the transfer. Notify your college you are transferring from a university, so Incase they get a notification form the university they would reply faster, and process your transfer asap. The most important thing to do is to contact your university first, and inform your college. The rest is in their hands to process the transfer, and issue you a new I20. |

Lana1: Wolverines adamantium implants is not his biggest advantage. Afterall its just an implant.
His greatest advantage is his healing factor. No character in the Marvel universe regenates damaged cells and tissue as fast as Wolverine. And that's the only thing that ll gve him a chance against Kratos. deadpool actually has the fastest regeneration of damage cells and tissues |

slimmy2005: We just lost a Nigeria who drowned at a lake. Please, don't go swimming if you know you can't swim.
I did a lake challenge last year and I swore never to near that place anymore except for sight seeing.
RIP Austin May his soul RIP to him. I almost drowned in a lake too, my friends kept telling me to go deeper in the lake, while still learning. Please if you cannot swim don't try learning at the lake, just like I tried to and almost drowned, your story might be different. I'm even scared of swimming in a 3 feet swimming pool. |

Daodudavid: Your assumption is wrong man, read carefully before commenting, I am not a block head that haven't been reading threads and testimonies about how to answer question asked by the VO, and if i am not mistaking this forum act as a medium to get information quicker only if the right person for the question sees it, its better to get schools that has worked for someone than roaming round Google, I am gonna search google anyway for schools and thanks to good information I got here already now I am confident that legitimate bank statement I could have a chance to get a visa, all that happened because I left my shell and ask questions, so don't judge me man you know practically nothing about my personality or my goal.. as for the proficiency test some school don't demand for it because it is meant for non English speaking country I have done some relative search on that.... thanks for the information anyway Schools may tell you that to give you an I20, in some cases when you get to the school you will have to show proof of proficiency even if your country's language is officially English (esp. Africans). if you do not have that, you might have to take mandatory 6 months of ESL, which is complacent to money wasted and time chewing. Some schools may require you to take English placement tests, to determine if you are college level proficient in English. "If" you do not pass that, you are going to have to take foundation English classes, which would not count in your gpa, also money wasted. So it would be good if you do take an English test, saves you money and stress of writing placement tests. Getting the Visa is not always everything, you may hear a different story when you come to the US. |
