Dating And Meet-up Zone / Re: Let's Stop Dating Poor Girls. by coolgenius: 12:31am On Feb 18, 2009
Poor or rich, it doesn' t matter really.

I'm the type of person that looks beyond the wallet. Many people rank money over happiness and true satisfaction in relationships.
Many people with money are miserable.

I always said that I would prefer to marry a person with nothing and build an empire together with them, rather than marry a rich man who cared more for his money than for me.

Having this type of attitude made guys with money very attracted to me. Doctors, lawyers, businessmen were all ready to make me queen of their world just because I had this great outlook. Isn't that funny!!!

When you don't care sooo much about money in relationships, relationships with money will find you!!!

Take a lesson ladies!!!
Adverts / Prettylogical.com Lets You Shop Online From Nigeria On Any U.s. Website. by coolgenius: 12:15am On Feb 18, 2009
I have lived abroad in the U.S. before and have grown accustomed to certain products that I can not easily find in Nigeria. Or, when I find them they are outrageously priced or knock offs/fakes from China.
There are certain foods/snacks, electronics, household goods, etc that I cant get and I MUST HAVE to remain sane. You know how you get used to things. Or you read magazines and see things people are wearing or using in other countries and you want it NOW, not when the trend is over. When my friends in the U.S. tell me about new things they have like electronics and things, I have to pay a fortune to get them in Nigeria. This drives me MAD!!!

My family in the U.S. now uses this buying service in the U.S. called Pretty Logical (WWW.prettylogical.com). They ship goods to Nigeria from the U.S. I wanted to buy some cool clothes and gadgets from online websites, and Pretty Logical said they will ship it to me after I place the order with them and deposit money into their bank account. I'm living in Naija and want to use their services from here. It seems pretty cool because now I can shop online as if I am still living in the U.S. They will deliver my goods whether I'm in Lagos or working in the East.

They have a cool website too that explains their services. www.prettylogical.com

I'm wondering if any one else has used them or if there are any other companies in Nigeria that offer an international buying service that someone can recommend.

Thanks for your replies in advance,

Properties / Re: I Am Just Curious! Why Do Agents Avoid Taking Pictures Of Their Properties Ads by coolgenius: 11:53pm On Feb 17, 2009
This is the internet age, and many agents are oldies but goodies who still don't know how to send email.

It is going to take the younger generation of agents who get more business from contemporary online ads with pix to make the older gens. see the light.

It happens like this in every other industry that is affected by the web.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Another Plane Crash In New York. by coolgenius: 11:06pm On Feb 17, 2009
The plane crashed because of ice on the wings, not because Obama is president.
The plane that safely landed on the waters came down because of a flock of geese took out both engines.

These are the facts.

The U.S. isn't perfect, but Nigeria can learn a lot of lessons from them on how they run their country.

(I love Nigeria)
Business / Re: What Was Your Worst Experience With Our Nigerian Banks? by coolgenius: 10:58pm On Feb 17, 2009
tried to get money sent to me via Western Union and the bank lied and said I didn't have the right info.
I immediately went to another bank and got my money with the same info. I think the first bank was trying to steal my money!!!
Politics / Re: Tough Times: Nigerians Flee To Ghana by coolgenius: 10:53pm On Feb 17, 2009
Year after year, leader after leader, the Nigerian govt sells out its better future for selfish indulgences. Nigeria has the resources and potential to be better, but the people are not brave enough to stand against the injustices of our leaders!

Nigeria will continue to take one step forward and twelve steps back until we have leaders that are brave enough to do the right things and inspired enough to live for the people and not for themselves.

Food / Re: American Foods Vs. Nigerian Foods by coolgenius: 5:04am On Nov 29, 2008
you cant go wrong with jellof rice or rice and stew. I have yet to meet anyone who doesnt enjoy these plates.

the only concern I have is whether or not you like your food with pepper shocked. If you do, you will have no problem with these dishes. If you don't like pepper, then you better let the cook know in advanced!!!
Webmasters / Re: Your Favorite Nigerian Website(s)? by coolgenius: 4:48am On Nov 29, 2008
cheesy  I love Pretty Logical Intl's website:  www.prettylogical.com.

Besides their website they offer a great service to Nigerians.  If you are in Naija, you can order things from abroad from them.  My friends and I use them to get all sorts of things from America, and they havent disappointed me yet!!!  I use them to buy electronics and stuff from costco.com and target.com.  My family ships cars from the U.S. through them.  They handle the clearing and everything.  THey are soo professional.  You gotta check them out.

I also like Okeyl Autoworld's website. www.okeyl-auto.com.
He has a car sales lot in Asaba.
