With the setup described, you would need to get a network structure in place to be able to share files locally between the 5 of you. This would require you to get additional hardware such as a "Switch" and six sets of LAN cables. If you have this in place, you can then proceed to do the set up by linking the LAN cables from the switch to the server and to your individual systems. (Now that's that about hardware set up)

Now you need to turn on the server and configure the LAN adapter to use Static IP address.

Please note: Depending on the OS installed on the server, the directions below May vary slightly. I have assumed that the server has Xp installed though.

Upon boot up, go to Network Places - Click on "show available network connections" you should see a LAN adaptor displayed on the right side of the panel. Right click it and select properties - it would open a small window - double click "internet protocol version 4 (TCP /IP4)" select the option that says "use static IP Address " and set the IP Eg. 168.123.766.1 - the subnet mask would come up automatically after you enter the IP Address just click on the subnet Mask column and 255.255.255.0 should come up. Enter the same set of numbers you used for the IP address as the default gateway and click "okay" thus you have setup your server. You would however need to run the same steps on your laptops using serial IP addresses like 168.123.766.2, 168.123.766.3, 168.123.766.4, 168.123.766.5, and 168.123.766.6 respectively.

This should have you setup to the server where you can then move needed files to and from the shared folder of the server. You can also create individual user workspace on the server which each user can access independently. But that's a different ball game entirely.

This would have you well set up and good to go. I offer my services on a professional basis though if you find it too complicated to pull off.

If you have a system network and a functioning server in place already, there is no need to setup another system as server. What you need do is -

Get the HDD (Hard Drive) from he spare system, or get a new HDD with good storage capacity say 500 GB or 1 terabyte depending on the
amount of data you intend to store on it, plug it in as a slave drive to the PC that represents the server on your current network and boot
up. Normally Windows would recognize the Hard disk. Just check under my computer and you would find it listed alongside your C: drive the others. You can therefore save your document files and all other files you want to share on the network here. In other to share files, from here, what you should do is move the files to be shared to a folder named "Shared folder" on the network. This folder is accessible to everyone on the network to work with.

However, if you don't have a network in place already, you would need more information and more hardware.

Your CPU reads high because you are running programs that use up a lot of resources see if you can dial down the processes running from the Windows Task Manager and watch as the speed normalizes

Ipads are not made for calls. The Apple Os does not support calling for the IPAD

If you have an android or Iphone you can use A magic jack APP that works fine without an external device

I believe you have a basic understanding of the regular network and setup interface
Setup
To get things started, make sure you have good network cables - faulty cables can give you a whole lot of headache after your setup is complete. If you this sorted, run a Lan cable from your service ISP’s device into your router‘s up-link port and feed the server from port 2 of your Router.
Next, run a Lan cable from your networked Switch to the Router and from there, to the Application server. Configure the adapter settings on the LAN adapter for your application server and User Terminals to use static IP addresses by assigning an individual IP address to each user PC or terminal. This would allow 2 way distributions from your Server to the User PCs or terminals through the switch.
By now, your server should have identified two LAN Connections – 1, for the router (Internet) and the other for the Switch (Intranet).
You can go to your wireless router’s log in page to configure settings such as wireless passwords, an internet security and firewall settings. If your proxy server is installed, it should run and connect with the settings assigned on installation.
If your user accounts have been set up, they should be able to connect to the network without problems at this point.

My guess is that she likes the unnecessary attention or probably, she isn't busy enough at work to understand that idle phone calls are distractions. on second thought though, maybe she is trying to find herself a ready replacement for when she decides to dump you or vice versa. (That is if she isn't double dating at the moment)

It all really depends on the lady in question and how she expresses her self. but generally, when your woman seeks your advice or your views on issues or includes you as a factor in her decision making process - I guess its an indicator that you are respected.

As I mentioned earlier, it depends on the woman becuz some of them only respect the man while he is able to provide them with security both financial and otherwise.

The first thing you need to know is that , You can live without her. Tell your self that and you would be able to decide on the next line of action on your own cuz you and you alone know the full story.

I have often wondered if we would be chanced to appoint Attorneys to defend our selves on Judgment day or if we would be chanced to dialog with the Creator one on one and ask questions bothering on why somethings had to happen to us while on earth. Because, I believe that most of our actions are based on the circumstances in which we find ourselves at a particular point in time.

I am not saying we should't be judged for our actions - but it would only be fair if we were given the chance to defend ourselves orally when the time comes.
