no its normal. The default charger charges too slowly. Get a higher capacity charger say 2A for faster charging results or put your phone in airplane mode during charging

you should follow the instructions Seun posted. The Rom is in zip format not rar. Just put it in the root of your SD card (not in any folder) and flash using cwm recovery

nice ROM. Tho am not sure it will support USB OTG like micromax. Try port JOY OS for Gionee users too. I also want to ask if you tampered with any of the symlink strings while porting the ROM.

throw depends on hardware to work so naturally it won't work on a ported ROM cus the device it is ported to (tecno in this case) doesn't have the necessary hardware to support that feature. Its just like using a custom ROM with 3g on a device that only supports 2g by default and you expect the 3g to work? Nah

yes because by default sim 1 is set as the default video call sim (3G) sim. To make 3G active on the second sim switch the 3G which will in turn switch your video call sim to sim 2

you don't even need a BB. You can do the airtel subscription on your Android. Just restart your phone when you get the message that you have been activated and make sure your access point is internet.ng.zain.com

If it still doesn't work just load N100 and subscribe to thee daily plan by dialing *141*11*1#. This should get it working

I have a question or questions. I haven't been able to use my A+. I don't know which network to use and how to configure it. I have put in active bis sims(mtn) to browse,it doesn't work.

So I would like to know those that use bis for data. Which network do u use and how did u configure it to work perfectly. Secondly. Andrios doesn't compress data like blackberry. How lon does a 2gb data plan last with an andriod?

Thirdly. I want to download games. I searched throught my sd card. I didn't find the andriod-obb extension? Do I create one or must it be there?

Can I also use a pc to download and transfer to my andriod using usb?

I've heard so much about rooting and custom roms etc. The truth is I love to root but I'm careful not to brick it. If I can find anyone skilled in rooting. I will gladly pay(a piitance)

ok in reply to your questions
1. you can't just put an active bis sim on an Android phone and expect it to work cus the plan isn't meant for the phone. The only way to bypass this restriction is to either use Airtel bis which works on all devicesi or to use a VPN tunneling software eg Droid VPN, Troid VPN, Acid VPN etc.

2. yes android doesn't compress data so how long any plan lasts for you depends on how you use it. if you do heavy downloads frequently and do a lot of streaming it could take only a couple of hours to exhaust a 2gb plan but if you use apps like opera, turn of sync and download once in a while a 2gb plan should last you a month.

3. if you cant find the Obb folder then you will have to create it yourself. Just open your SD card and locate the Android folder. Create a new folder there and name it obb

4. Yes you can download with a PC and transfer to your device using either Bluetooth or a USB cable.

5. Trust me on this... rooting is easy and you can do it yourself. if you can read and follow simple instructions then you don't need to pay anyone to help you through it.
