Ok here's to clear things up a little!

For those already on Melting Rocks III and are asking if to download and flash v4 really there's no need its still the same user interface and all. I just well lemmi put it this way...made things a little more interesting.

Here's the full change log...

*Changed the timezone to Africa/Lagos

* Improved Gps lock and accuracy

*Added more preinstalled apps....

Viper4AndroidFX...for audio boost and clarity

Added a new improved flashlight app

Gplayer with popup play

Mobile Uncle

Skitch for making annotations to your pictures/documents

OGYoutube for downloading videos from Youtube

and of course Xblast tools to add more spice if Gravity box just isn't enough for you!


*Added some miscellaneous tweaks

If you're already on Melting Rocks III enjoy but if you haven't flashed yet and you like the changes in my rom well then proceed to download and flash.

macbeyland: does it have switchable 3g on both Sims?

If its the ultimate edition by sta2z then yes 3G is switchable but the fm radio might not work but there's a workaround

I will try to port the lewa Miui ROM and see what happens

lilkech: CHEI! THE WORST HAS HAPPENED!

My power button has suddenly stopped working, it was stiff since this morning but its no more working right now.

The phone didn't drop on the floor or in water, it just STOPPED working.

Please can someone tell me exactly how many carl-care centres are in lagos and their direct addresses so I can take me phone to them to repair on monday. Also I rooted and flashed a custom rom, will that void my warranty to the point where they reject working on my power button?

Please help

Carlcare centre is at 77 opebi Rd ikeja. Just stop at salvation b/stop and walk down to Vcare building.


Yes rooting voids your warranty so to be on the safe side it's imperative you unroot and restore your stock rom and stock boot logo and stock recovery before visiting them but even if you don't they will still work on it only it might not be for free as your warranty is void

why use add blockers? Why not pay for the premium apps if you hate adds or get the cracked versions of your apps. As long as you continue to use free apps you will see adds

edit/replace the boot animation file with another of your choice but be careful! Do so your own risk don't say I didn't warn you!

Well here are a few things you should know.......

NB:The keyboard might force close on startup but its nothing serious just go to settings>>>>Device>>>>Apps>>>>swipe to All and find "Android Keyboard" and disable it.
Make no changes to Android keyboard (AOSP)!

Reboot and i promise you will be fine henceforth!


Heres how to install:

Copy to SD Card


Boot into recovery
(Cwm)


wipe data


wipe cache


wipe dalvik cache


format system.


select install from internal/external SD card and watch the show!

Just created a fix for the UI of life II


Features:


*Annoying sammmy boot logo removed

* stock battery charging indicator while off.

* full miui boot animation

* full miui shut animation

How to install:

1. Download the file.

2. Copy it to the root of your SD card.

3. Boot into cwm and flash it

Note that this will only work on the miui ROM so don't bother flashing it if you're on any other ROM.

none required. just press and hold the volume down key and the power/lock key for about 2seconds to take a screenshot

use a strong network with 3G to setup preferably Mtn or etisalat not Airtel. Ensure you're on 3G too

guys make sure you update your bbm to the latest version v1.0.70. If you're already using v1.0.69 you won't need to setup again but if you're yet to setup use the latest version
