samistry: Fighting the security trope should be done away with. If a single guy can beat multiple trained securities then he shouldn't be defeated by one man. The idea is that wrestlers are that much stronger than non-wrestlers. It made more sense during peak Vince McMahon steroid era where everyone was huge |

QuinQ: That's the thing, we don't know whether there's been any of that. We do know that about 90% of cases turn out to be the man's biological child. But that's not our concern here. What we are concerned with is discouraging sudden unwarranted expensive DNA fishing expeditions on teenagers raised from infancy! His money, his choice |

Hiding behind security and police is a chickenshit thing to do in a combat-based show lime pro wrestling. The fans are always going to cheer the person who wants to fight. |

QuinQ: But we don't know wether thete is parternal fraud or adultery. What we have is a man bonded with a child from infancy to teenage years still wanting to spend 100's of thousands on DNA. Our take is that the govrt ought discourage him from doing that and encourage him to instead focus on raising his precious child to maturity! How does a man end up unwittingly raising a child that isn't his outside of adultery and paternity? |
Family › Re: Why Government Should Ban DNA Testing Of Minors by CoolUsername: 5:50pm On Jul 15 |
QuinQ: Funny guy, see below. A guy that donates sperm three times a week how many children does he have out there that he knows nothing of. Besides, remember that we don't know that there had been infidelity. The state's concern is to discourage a settled family suddenly going on DNA fishing expedition (as is human nature). Note that Davido DNA is still not settled because woman was alleging they manipulated the test. You avoid all that and simply and happily raise a child that only knows you as farher! Notice how I never said anything negative about adoption? That is because in the case of adoption or where a sperm donor is used, the parents KNOW and CONSENT to what is going on. In case of paternal fraud, they can be LED ASTRAY based on familial medical history because they have FALSELY ASSUMED that the child is related to the father. Do you understand now? |
Family › Re: Why Government Should Ban DNA Testing Of Minors by CoolUsername: 7:35am On Jul 15 |
QuinQ: But how is it "another guy's kid" when you're the only father he's known and will ever know, carries forward your name, and references you as source of anything he becomes? But this is not even about that. This is about upending a family's settled life by going on unnecessary fishing expeditions! No, it's about upending a family's settled lifeby committing infidelity and deception. Because of this deception, the biological father may be deprived of the knowledge that he has a child out there. The child is deprived of accurate medical knowledge because a family history of certain diseases (such as diabetes) are strong indicators of genetic predisposition. |

Kobojunkie: Nigerian notion of fatherhood is founded on sperm contribution. Adoption is still considered generally foreign in that country. If a change should happen, it should be a reeducating of people in what fatherhood is, not the banning of DNA tests and stuff like that. Adoption is something that you go into voluntarily. Paternal fraud is making a man raise another guy's kid under false pretenses. These are completely different topics. |

ValeeLove: he had a huge potential and a was one of my faves with lots of fanfare. His stock began going down after he beat Bryan at Mania in 18 seconds. But one thing I never understood was why they stopped using him regularly. Yes they stopped believing he was a world champion material but he was still a big name regardless and could work, that's something you can't say about like 50% of that roster. I believe he would be a good addition to NJPW or AEW since he wrestles the physical style well. His stock didn't go down because of that. His stock went down because of the torn labrum that sidelined him for almost 2 years and spinal stenosis |
