It's actually disturbing the way some people reason at times.

Guy no be small thing. Sometimes I wonder if I'm being biased because of my worldview or if that's the actual reality, but ever since I started reading religious debates on NL it always feels like the Christians are more bigoted, ignorant, irrational, arrogant, eccentric, quick to insult, mock, and usually just sound so full of shit thinking they know more than everybody, and must always have the last word. They just come across as borderline psychotic sometimes. I can't think of many atheists that fit the description above. Most atheists I know are curious, honest, calm, and even try to compromise in arguments and find a common ground. We also lack the patience to entertain theist stupidity and go back and forth for lengthy periods of time. There are outliers in both camps obviously, but it's just a general pattern I've noticed and it's a big testament of the damage religion can do to our ability to think critically.

Nigerian atheists usually have to learn patience in our day-to-day lives because we regularly have to deal with various levels of religion-induced craziness.
