There's something about about these mangaka who started in the 90s and early 00s. Their stories may not be the best written or the have the best fights but they just know how to keep you coming back.

News coming out of war games is Jimmy Uso and Bronson Reed are both injured.

Copelanding off a steel cage is extremely dangerous and even moreso when you're over 300 lbs.

Reed landed feet first and destroyed his ankle. Jimmy Uso actually landed well but the impact from hitting Jacob Fatu still caused his feet to hit the ground first, breaking his toe.

Arcane season 2 is a farcry from the hype bombarded on it here.

Even arcane fans know that at the back of their minds, there is that itch saying: the season 2 is not even close to the hype they giving it.

Arcane season 2 is a glorious 5/10.

Akira Hiramoto, before he made Prison School, created Me & the Devil Blues in 2003. This manga follows the life of Robert Johnson, a real musician from the 1930s, who is touted as the greatest blues player ever.

While Johnson's life is shrouded in mystery, rumor has it that he sold his soul to the devil to become so good at playing the guitar. Akira Hiramoto takes the stories surrounding Johnson's life and gives them a supernatural twist. For example, it is said that Johnson would back the audience when playing at live shows, so Hiramoto used that fact to show that he grows an extra demonic arm to play guitar for him.
Hiramoto also depicted a realistic image of black Americans and the racism they faced during that period. You can tell that Hiramoto was passionate about this with level of research and care who put into these topics.

Too bad though 'cause it got axed in 2008 and has been on hiatus ever since. Hiramoto would still drop a chapter here and there for a while, though.

It really puts things into perspective when you consider how he treated the ending of Prison School which was so bad that it may have led to RaW Hero also getting axed. So basically, his magnum opus gets axed while his T&A comedy manga becomes his claim to fame.

Now, all this is obviously just speculation but when a mangaka releases panels like the ones below, it gets me thinking. It reminds me of the final few chapters of The Hunter's Guild: Red Hood where it seemed like the mangaka was silently protesting the position they find themselves in.

I must admit I have, I always knew he was athletic AF sha but I've not really acknowledged him. And there were complaints that he is unsafe to work with but I don't buy it.

Hmmm, there may be some legs to the lack of safety thing. The Creed Brothers are insanely during and athletic but are a little green in-ring. Check out how Brutus used to land with the Brutus Ball and tell me that isn't a recipe for future injury.

During their first main roster run they won a tag team tournament to face the Judgement Day (Balor & Priest) for the title. However, during the title match, a Brutus ball seemed to legitimately hurt Damien Priest. Priest grabbed the back of his head throughout the fight and seemed visibly upset. He even waited for a couple of seconds after delivering the South of Heaven before going for the pin and then unceremoniously tossed Julius outside the ring after match

Maybe I'm reading too much into that match but the Brutus Ball seems to have been modified since then with the trajectory of the jump changed such that there is no longer any follow through with the falling opponent.

The Creed Brothers are legitimately great and were on fire back in NXT but Kunter Kearst Kelmsley's booking has done a lot to douse that flame.

They just hide under their big box office numbers and the billion dollar films reinforces their delusion; whether the film was good or bad doesn't concern them so far it makes money.

Dolphins don't look scary enough to make an intimidating villain and let's not forget the fact that Orcas are also known as Killer Whales
