Omololu2121:That's the basic fact. He is a complete failure, yet he will win if their is life. |
Ever8054:That's ONLY way to be at peace with yourself. Nigeria has a very long way to go. They prefer regional permutation to egalitarian society where performance and hard work yields good results for all. Now see where we are. People have to continue suffering so as not to rock the boat. |
The only reason Buhari could win 2019 election as he has declared his intention, is the fear in many places of another northerner who would do 8 years...If voting is by performance Buhari stands no chance at all. Nigeria is presently between the DEVIL and the DEEP BLUE SEA... ![]() It is either you give a young northerner who would do 8 years or you live with Buhari, ruled by the CABAL, as he turns 80 years. People should forget about Donald Duke or any southerner for that matter...Like Sagay said...Nigeria is not matured for certain things. The overall concensus is that the north should complete their two terms. |
Yyeske:The OP is right. Can you tell when those projects you mentioned are not ongoing? Their completion day could as well be in the next 1000 years ![]() |
deomelo:... so if the Igbos had voted APGA, would it have been better? Just like it would have been better if they voted APC? There is no lousy decision...Its only unity begging gullible mumu like you who lacks depth to understand the conspiracy going on. |
Marcelo290:From Borrowing N23 million to buy the presidential ticket...to getting 15 SANs to defend his certificate scam...for being poor and yet able to send all his children abroad to school...for going to London for medical checks even when he critisized officials doing do...for protecting PDP chieftains who are now in APC, etc, etc. His intergrity is GREAT ![]() |
Youths from the 19 Northern states, under the aegis of Nigeria Youth Forum, NYF, on Monday in Kaduna called on President Muhammadu Buhari to step aside and allow the younger generation to take the country to ‘the promised land’. The group said the only thing that President Buhari has was integrity, but added, that “integrity alone cannot take Nigeria to the promised land in this age.” Speaking through the Team Leader of the project, Bobai Matthew Victor, when the group paid a courtesy visit to the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Kaduna, the group said they were working for the candidature of Senator Ahmed Makarfi. The added, “We want a Nigerian dream, a future that our children can fit in, what we can develop for the future generations. “We are here because of Makarfi because we believe he fits into the idea of what we want for this country. “This current administration of Muhammadu Buhari is all about integrity, that is the only thing it has to offer and integrity alone cannot take us to the promised land.” He called on the President “to, please take his well deserved rest and allow his younger brother, Senator Ahmed Makarfi to take up the mantle of leadership and replicate what he did in Kaduna.” Speaking on Makarfi, he said, “His achievements in this state shown what he can do and we are asking the chapel to partner with us, because your job changes the society. We have a dream and we believe you can assist us achieve that dream.” On his part, Chairman of the project, Gideon Goma Adawa, said, “We believe Makarfi if given the opportunity will make Nigeria proud, we are hoping to take our dreams to the next level and we are hoping to grow a Nigerian of our dreams. “We are counting on you guys to assist us, because we believe all of us will benefit from his wealth of experience. “Makarfi will tackle the quantum of challenges in the country, herdsmen, Boko Haram and the killings will be a thing of the past. “We are calling on Buhari’s friends to advise him to rest in 2019 and allow his younger brother to come on stage.” Responding, Chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel, Midat Joseph told the visiting team that the chapel was always ready to partner with people that have the interest of the country at heart. Mr. Midat said, “Makarfi’s antecedents is everywhere for people to see. “He is credible, he has the ability to change things. We are prepared to partner with you and tell the world what he has done. “His simplicity and humility is known and he has been a good friend of lournalists and we will do our best to support your dream.” http://dailypost.ng/2018/04/09/integrity-alone-cannot-take-nigeria-promised-land-group-tells-buhari/ |
asha80:Agreed...but due to its narrowness another gutter there will further reduce the size of the road. The road is slanted though, so rain water would flow towards the gutter on the other side. |
Iceberg3:...apologies |
Firgemachar:...point made...even if so painful, ogbeni. |
Iceberg3:The type of complex Awo and Obasanjo had when they came all the way to the East in 1967 to block borders to ensure Igbos starve and remain in Nigeria, abi? Why were they not satisfied with your borders in SW? |
What did Igbo get for supporting the following past leaders: 1. Shagari 2. Obasanjo 3. Yaradua 4. Johnathan.. Why was there no capital projects and infrastructures in the eastern states ![]() Igbos have tried all options and have discovered there is gang up and unwritten document which ensures that elected leaders MUST not do anything in the SE. Or how can you explain the state of affairs in the SE with many igbos at the corridors of power. That's why many Igbis have a feeling that even an Igbo president could not do anything. |
DonVikings:These people below are old stinking pigs abi... "..Nigeria’s problems started with Awo’s introduction of tribal politics.." — Paul Unongo "Yorubas are the problem with Nigeria.." Sanusi Lamido Sanusi "The Southwest has troubled Nigeria since 1953.." - Tanko Yakasai |
RenegadeFrost:This is a backstreet neighbhood with narrow roads. I don't thing there would be enough space for all that except some structures are demolished.

A Message to Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi from Ngenevu! A visit to Ngenevu (around Coal Camp Enugu) a suburb of Enugu in Enugu North Local Government Area of Enugu State affirms the glaring fact that Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is a leader who is passionate and firmly committed to the well-being of the people, especially the lowly and less privileged in the society. The people's governor in keeping with his promise to take development to the rural areas and highly populated suburbans that have been long neglected and forgotten, has brought joy and big relief to the people of Ngenevu through the ongoing construction of their only access road, which was hitherto in a deplorable condition. The people are so excited and full of gratitude to Gov. Ugwuanyi, a true friend of the poor and less privileged, for remembering them after many years of neglect. They are laden with emotion that Gov. Ugwuanyi, who was the first governor of the state to touch his foot on the soil of Ngenevu, to identify and feel the pains they were passing through, is not only tarring their road to standard but has also provided and mounted two nos. 500KVA transformers he promised them during his first and second visit to the area. The jubilant residents are not expressing this gratitude without a message that come 2019 no single vote will miss, as they have unanimously resolved to speak with one voice with their PVCs. It was indeed a pleasant experience to see the children and other inhabitants playing and chanting praise songs for Gov. Ugwuanyi as the final stage of construction work was going on, in appreciation of his kind gesture to them and for giving them a sense of belonging as the true heroes of democracy. Truly, Enugu State is in the hands of God! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The governor has really tried for poor neglected communities in Enugu state.
