Purehuman:ENSG have been discussing with foreign investors to build standard health facilties...and others but I don't know how the following up is done to actualize those projects... Iran seeks business ties with Enugu govt ENUGU—The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Nigeria, Morteza Rahimi Zarchi, has disclosed the willingness of the Asian country to establish general bilateral business relationship with the Enugu State Government, especially in the area of rendering medical services. Ambassador Zarchi, who spoke at the Government House, Enugu, when he paid a courtesy call on the governor, in company with the management of FIT Consult Limited, stated that his delegation were in Enugu on a feasibility study of establishing an Iranian hospital, modelled after the one in Dubai, at the ongoing Heliu Residences project in Enugu as well as general bilateral cooperation with the state government. The Iranian Ambassador said his country’s decision to seek bilateral cooperation with Enugu State Government was because of the state’s historical background, its natural resources, the geographical location, which he said links other neighbouring states, the international airport as well as the existing peace in the state. Pengician:Ogbeni, my Yoruba muslim friend...have you seen the language of Buhari the northern president? |
Nigeria is in dare stress...courtsey of the satan worshipper, Lugard who merged the north and the south... The question is...can a southern president do the same when powe shifts to the south? Even if he has the courage to do the same, how would Nigeria contain the menance of BH, Fulani herdsmen and other terro groups that would emerge...who would now see that the north are stripped over everything and intensify their killings? At this point the northern elites would see reason..and secretly support their activities...It could be the end of Nigeria... Nigeria is the worse for it, no matter how you look at it... |
iamhorny:Yet they are despised by other tribes and rated lower in all public sector affairs of their own country. This reminds me of the below quote.. "Igbos are wandering Jews of West Africa - gifted, aggressive, westernized, and at best, envied and resented, but mostly despised by their neighbors in the Federation---" (a White House Memo on Biafra January 28, 1969 to President Nixon by Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger) (Source : U.S Foreign Relations Documents Volume 5 , 1969) |
You dey mind them... Even outside the country they do nothing...and you will see their refugees heading to Europe, christian countries...instead of heading to UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bharain, Jordan, Iran, etc, etc. I don't understand these people. During the civil war...The Igbo Biafran Christian refugees didn't head to Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Morrocco, Egypt...they headed to Gabon, France, US, Canada, Britain, Switzerland, etc, etc... |
Lukgaf:Why didn't the Muslims pass Fatwa on them and also mobilize fighters to destroy those spoiling their name. If you can pass Fatwa on the cartoonist in Denmark...why not fight these people killing muslims too ![]() |

I don't believe this guy and his party on the religion thing...See why... "The recent proscription of Boko Haram and Ansaru violates the Constitution." - Lai Mohammed (June 10, 2013, The Nation) "I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria. God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country.” - Buhari (News24, August 27, 2001) |
By Johnbosco Agbakwuru ABUJA – PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has assured that he will not relent in his effort to ensure the release of the abducted Dapchi girl, Leah Sharibu who was not released by the Boko Haram Islamic sect because she is a Christian and refused to convert to Islam. Leah Sharibu and President Buhari 104 out of the 110 abducted girls from Dapchi Government Science and Technical School, Yobe State were on Wednesday morning released by their abductors, five were said to have died while little Miss Sharibu was said to have been held back because she rebuffed attempt to be converted to Islam. Presidential Buhari in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu yesterday in Abuja said he was as committed to the freedom of the only Dapchi schoolgirl still in captivity as he was to the girls’ freedom when all 110 were in the captivity of Boko Haram terrorists. He said, “The Buhari administration will not relent in efforts to bring Leah Sharibu safely back home to her parents as it has done for the other girls after she was held back by the terrorists over her decision, as reported, not to convert from Christianity to Islam. “President Buhari is fully conscious of his duty under the constitution to protect all Nigerians, irrespective of faith, ethnic background or geopolitical location and will not shirk in this responsibility. “The President is equally mindful of the fact that true followers of Islam all over the world respect the injunction that there is no compulsion in religion. “To this effect, no one or group can its religion on another.” He further stated that “His heart goes out to the isolated parents who must watch others rejoice while their own daughter is still away. “The lone Dapchi Girl, Leah, will not be abandoned. “President Buhari assures the Sharibu family that he will continue to do all he can to ensure that they also have cause to rejoice with their daughter soon.” Read more at: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/03/ill-ensure-release-christian-dapchi-girl-buhari/ |
deomelo:You don't need all that...the below is sufficient.... According to UNICEF, statistics showed that 37 per cent of children representing over six million are malnourished. She disclosed that the 17.2 million figure represents 43.6 per cent of an estimated 40 million Nigerian children under the age of five years, adding that 19.4 per cent children in the South-west are stunted resulting from malnourishment. “This is worse than the South-east and South-south but better than the North. And we must do more as agenda setters to keep this issue on national discourse and help reverse the ugly trend,” she said. http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2018/02/27/17-2m-nigerian-children-suffer-from-stunted-growth-unicef-says/ |

spyder880:This is pure beauty... Some people used to ask...where the people who live in these expensive properties work? Enugu is not Lagos, Abuja or even PH with banks and insurance companies, oil companies, embassies, Federal institutions, or manufacturing complexes...lol |
horsepower101:You are right. The mayor will conentrate on Enugu and have his budget to build the the city and up coming surbubs. As can be seen, Enugu has not seen any major project since this new administration came on board...as they focus on other towns....which is not bad on its on. But Enugu shouln't be neglected. A mayor would see to that... |
