I wish this is not another white elephant project. This will be really nice as it will help with the stress of moving containers from Lagos to Nnewi, Onitsha and Aba, considering the bad roads and Customs and Police check points. Uyo to Aba is just few kilometers. |
By Okon Bassey in Uyo Following the level of Federal Government interest, more than 100 companies across the globe have reportedly indicated interest for the development of the Ibom Deep Sea port in Ibaka, Mbo local government area of Akwa Ibom State.http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2018/03/03/more-than-100-companies-bid-for-ibom-deep-sea-port-project/

wizzakosh:If only you went to school and understood how statistics are taken to arrive at scientific conclusions, you want be displaying your ignorance in public.. |
Alariiwo:Who introduced starvation as an instrument of war? Why is that insrument not used in Syria today? Who said all is fair in war? I tell you, Gowon has more honor in the east than Awo? Igbos were everywhere before the war. They were the VC of UI, Unilag and rector of Yaba tech. Awo wanted to remove Igbos so his tribe could occupy the positions. This he has accomplished today. But he is not God, as despite the change in position in the civil service, Igbos have done well despite the set back. Today, only Lagos, a city developed by all Nigeria is better than cities in SE. |
wakaman:abookina..the report below has debunked your falacious spewing garabage.. According to her, statistics showed that 37 per cent of children representing over six million are malnourished. She disclosed that the 17.2 million figure represents 43.6 per cent of an estimated 40 million Nigerian children under the age of five years, adding that 19.4 per cent children in the South-west are stunted resulting from malnourishment. “This is worse than the South-east and South-south but better than the North. And we must do more as agenda setters to keep this issue on national discourse and help reverse the ugly trend,” she said. http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2018/02/27/17-2m-nigerian-children-suffer-from-stunted-growth-unicef-says/ |
"...We made a disproportionate contribution to the maintenance of the unity of Nigeria at war. We made a sacrifice of over half a million men to keep Nigeria one; we cannot be made to look like cowards. When you want to fight your wars, where do they get soldiers? They come here (Benue). We contributed more than one million men to fight the Nigerian Civil War. We had three quarters of the casualties. What has Nigeria rewarded my people with?...Governor Ortom -------------------------------------------------------------------- These people should stop talking and repeat what they did with the Biafrans, their fellow Christians...Is it when they are clinical wiped out that they will react? Abeg make we hear word!! |
wizzakosh:The focus now is SW and SE...NW has less prevalence due to their arid nature...but in the southern region with more vegetation, SW lead in open defeaction...Deal with it... |
wizzakosh:making a joke out of real situation, says much about you. What about this one.... Regarding open defecation, the highest proportion (8.8%) was found in the North Central zone, followed by the South West (6.5%) and then North East (4.3%) zones. By contrast, a lower percentage was recorded in the South East (3.8%) and the lowest in the North West (3.6%). The likely reason for higher prevalence of open defection in the North Central and South West zones is that their forest vegetation provides more room for the practice, unlike the grassland vegetation in the North West where the practice is the least used. Although, South East zone has more dense vegetation but has lower prevalence of open defecation than the North East, suggesting an influence of other factors such as education and wealth. Lovren:Now you have shifted the goal post to meaning just the greedy cabal... Mister you don't know your eft from your right... Other regions have no legitmate grievenace like the SE...tell me legitimate grievances of the north and the Western region... You are basically using this ploy to deceive gullible people. |
Adefemiaderoju1:E pain you well well.. Are you able to interprete quotes from links.. Abeg, go insult UNICEF... ![]() |
Lovren:Haven't you seen where some of you one Nigeria advocates ask the youth to challenge their leaders for the no federal sructure in the region? Now they have challenged the leaders and you are complaining. They challenge the FG, you complained, they challenged their elders, you complain. Now tell how you think they could attract federal prresence...and why you think they had to do anything before the hateful FG can invest in their region, as they have been doing in the north and SW for the past 50 years. |
maxtamazin:Why are you northerners so poor in education? What has state governors got to do with buiding federal roads, rails system, industries, handled by the hateful federal government? Is it the governors that award contract for Lagos-Ibadan rail system and Abuja-kaduna rail system worth $5 billion? You guys really need more education.. Government should be seen to be good to all its citizens, not choosing to develop the north and SW leaving the SE and parts of SS because of civil war that ended 50 years ago. If there is genuine, equal and fair distribution of federal infrastructure...these things will not happen. |
I have said a lot about this dysfunctional big for nothing country... How did small progressive countries like Ghana, Maritius, Sychelles, Rwanda and Botswana do it...? Some of these countries don't even have oil but you hardly see queues... Right now I am tired...

Adefemiaderoju1:SW despite the FG investments can't even feed its population... Lovren:The FG is the god father of hate. Can you explain why the FG is concentrating development in the north and SW leaving out the SE...? You don't even know your left from your right. |
