It is never what is good for the country when it comes to you guys. I can't believe you are celebrating this nonsense. Even you know the DSS report is a big sham. You know it but won't say as it suits an agenda.
When Buhari was using Daura's dss to humiliate his political opponents what was good for the country never
mattered, hypocrites . Buhari didn't know he was exposing Daura to vindictive politics now Sarraki has acquired an alliance with Daura now dss is for Sarraki and Senate.
Sarraki should infiltrate the executive and judiciary more.
so that you can cry us a river.
I have never seen a dumb leader like Buhari.

Sarraki is getting stronger by the day without making noise. I love his politics.
Buhari made dss a vindictive tool now Daura is working for his political interest in the country hence submission of nasty reports against Magu and the new Sarraki alliance

PoliticsRe: Saraki And Tinubu, Who Is More Influential by Cornerstone2020(m): 10:31pm On Apr 01, 2017
Diplomaticbeing:
Foremost, note that there's a difference between admiration and respect. While Tinubu commands the former from his numerous proteges and followers, Saraki on the other hand enjoy the latter from more than half of the 109 senators at NASS. Respect is superior to admiration.

What Saraki has is associates while Tinubu mostly has proteges. Proteges are always servile to their masters not out of choice but because of what they gain from him, and they are always an easy sell out too when the chips are down. Sagacious men never build their war defense with proteges, because serviles never make good loyalists. In the game of power 1 plus 1 is never 2.

You can only be certain of whom your true loyalists are when you are in equal position and status with them and yet you still commands their respect and followership.

A case study is Fashola, while he had no self-clout, he was to Tinubu what a slave is to his master. . . Only people like me knew that Tinubu had a frenemy in him then. Just as he (Tinubu) has as frenemies more than half of the proteges and followers around him at present. Forget about the seeming nice persona's you do see within their cliques.

Meanwhile, when you have your equals as your loyalists, my brother you can go to sleep with your two eyes closed at that moment. The senators in their individual capacities command the followership and respect of majority of their zonal subjects, and this is how Saraki is technically more powerful than Tinubu. Team work.
Last year I told my friends that it will be easier to destroyer Tinibu than Sarraki durring his court trial ,they said it is a lie . Tinibu has little or no loyalty from the north he only has few admirers. coming to south west you may say he loyalty but it is more like servant-master relationship once these guys see a better political solutions to their various interests they will dump Tinibu .
Today we all know that fashola, fayemi, Amosun, Oyegun etcetera do not have total loyalty to Tinibu again.
On the other hand sarraki have friends all over the country
erst governors from pdp , senators and individuals who have in one way or the other benefited from corruption in this country will stand by sarraki any time any day

In party management,Tinubu superceeds,in scheming for positions,it is saraki.Saraki however is becoming a force to reckon with, though i dont agree with d way he's going about his political moves. If both contests for presidency today, Tinubu may win only if his northern allies back him.Tinubu is better rooted and has more allies than saraki in Sw ,NEand NW. Where was Saraki in 1992 when Tinubu was a senator and chairman of a senate commitee?
Where was Tinibu in 2015 When Saraki became the Senate president against the wish of his party and Tinibu.
Tinibu is nothing but a local champion . Buhari and Yorubas made him look like a god but he is fast waning..

I really doubt with the ways things are going buhari will get the nomination of APC. Is it atiku, Tinubu, saraki, El rufai.obasanjo That will support his re-nomination . His failures and betrayal is what has weakened Tinubu to this extent. Is it the fasholas, fayemi, or amaechi that will campaign for his re election? Those don't even have a political base.
Nice one . valid opinion.

maybe but you ve forgotten, saraki hasn't fought as many battles as Tinubu has/had fought. If not for providence/luck/lack of foresight of buhari, he might have been imprisoned already. Saraki also inherited a political empire, while I'm not saying saraki isn't a political wizard himself as he has already demonstrated it, it doesn't mean he is above Tinubu, times change of course and we can't see the future. Saraki may become more powerful or he may reach too close to the sun and get burnt. But a smart man knows when to make peace, if he impeaches (assuming he is able to get the go ahead) osinbajo becomes president, he has inadvertently made osinbajo/Tinubu stronger, if he wants for buhari to complete the term, he risks loosing the momentum he has gained. But of course an alliance between the two, if he can get Tinubu to support him will most certainly make him the next president
Tinibus only hope for now is buhari's death, resignation and 2nd term so that he can Osibanjo.
If Buhari doesn't go for second tenure then Tinibu influence will fade more

Chai! "Saraki ti take over". How times change. It would have been unthinkable that I might write such just a year ago. Begging is the best course of action for Ndume. He must have seen from the way things are going that relying on the weak vegetable called buhari is useless as even the president can't help himself. With this, Mr saraki has the opportunity to consult further with the northern leaders to the detriment of buhari. These are taught times for the sick president, if he survives his bad health, his administration might not survive this ruthless Senate. If saraki is wise, he would try to make peace with Tinubu and make some consultations with obasanjo. And also the south east. If he can do that, I think he is the next president already. I never liked the man but there is no denying the fact that he may be the most powerful political figure in Nigeria today
Saraki cannot make peace with Tinibu . Tinibu is a southerner with a waning power.
All he needs to do is to infiltrate presidency since there is conflicting cabals there with this Buhari will be complete nominal president.
Saraki will win Tinibu even in the south not to talk of north. Yes I said so.

That was the same thing they were saying about fashola

The problem with Abia, particularly Aba is federal government refusal to repair damaged federals road. in the town for decades now.
Abia is better in the hands of Ikpeazu.

How many states do we have in the southeast and how many senators /Rep. I know you didn't no it was a deliberate plot to weaken us in the house.
You only described you family as being bitter and hateful because they don't live , build and invest in other sections of the country. But we igbos do and no other tribe has invested in other sections more than us .so stop embarrassing yourself here.

PoliticsRe: Third Class Graduates Should Not Be Allowed To Hold Important Political Posts by Cornerstone2020(m): 10:41pm On Mar 28, 2017
Doriana2:
The ambiguities involving Dino Melaye's certificate scandal has overwhelmed Nigeria's news space. The pertinent reality that only few people talk about is: Either a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria did not graduate from a university or he graduated with an abysmal grade. It is now clear that a major part of Nigeria's  problem is the high number of uneducated and underqualified leaders occupying important political positions. This is unfortunately accompained with a populace that does not seem to care.‎
There was a recent thread of a proud third class civil engr Uniben graduate. While we admire the young man's courage to accept his subpar performance in school, we detest the idea that third class graduates should be allowed to occupy sensitive political postions. Nigerians have to realize that: ONLY excellent and qualified employers can make an organization excellent. Political positions should be treated as an important job vacancy and elections should be seen as a serious job interview.  It is because Nigerians don't pay attention to the qualities presented by 'prospective job applicants' and majorly look at tribe, religion or 'Number of Rice Bags shared' that we are in this mess of a country.
Unintelligent people would reply by saying 'Many People with 2nd class and 1st class are not as rich as some with 3rd class? They go on to proffer as an example, a detestable and morally reprehensible creature like Dino Melaye. The obvious answer is 'the ineffectual and unqualified political office holders are the cause of the failed experiment called Nigeria. The high rates of unemployment and wealth inequality are due to exactly leaders of such groups.

Another class of mentally myopic individuals would cite an example like Goodluck Jonathan, who was a PHD holder but was also mediocre as a leader.‎
The not so obvious ‎answer to this comes in the form of a parable: 'Lack of good tomatoes does not mean we should cook stew with sand'. The fact that GEJ was terrible should spur us on to properly screen our leaders (plus political parties) and request for even better qualities. We should not make the mistake again ‎of selecting someone bad just because average did not work out.
A country of 180 million people demands someone intelligent and capable to run it. Lives and futures are literally at stake. We should not take the posts of the president and senators as a testing ground for failures in school. A successful organization like first bank will not employ a third class graduate as CEO so why should NIGERIANS accept third class graduates (or complete illiterates) as senators?
Useless post . 3rd class is better than Using 20 SANs to defend certificate.
You think you are smarter by those that made third class we know world billionaires that we celebrate even though history has it that they don't have a degree even some are drop outs.
