davodyguy: Good evening guys.
I have two questions
1. How much money are you personally planning to spend on your visit to the UK? (Does this mean your own out of pocket that you would be spending on the trip or the entire amount that would be spent on the trip)
To make my question clear.
Total cost of trip that includes feeding, travel cost etc is say £5000
I am only going to contribute £1000
My sponsor will pay £4000.
To the above question what's the correct answer?
Asking cos I've seen refusal letters here where the ECO would say 'you stated that your contribution is only £1' and still use the account statement provided to say applicant's financial circumstances in home country is not good enough It's the money you personally want to spend on the trip and not the entire money . There's another section where you will be asked if anyone is paying towards your visit, this where your sponsor's fund comes in.
How much are you personally spending? £1000 Any additional support? Yes, sponsor is paying £4,000
Ensure to demonstrate the relationship between you and your sponsor and state succinct reasons why they are paying towards your visit.
Also remember to establish solid home ties, such as your asset and employment documents, your family in Nigeria, religious/social affiliations, and more.
Good luck.

Olubi15: Thanks. Will she write a separate letter explaining her financials apart from the introduction letter? Every explanation should be included in the applicant's Cover Letter. In addition to that, she can reiterate the financial explanations in the extra space provided at the end of the application.
If the applicant is getting an Invitation Letter from her sister, she should be sure to include her birthday certificate and/or pictures for proof of relationship. |

Ayolayemi: Hello house,
please i need guidance on my PR path, i recently entered the pool and my score is 404 which i think something is wrong cos a friend of mine with similar qualification has 465. I am 27 years old I have 5 years working experience I have both BSC and ATS result which qualifies as 4 years and 1 year education in Canada. The only difference with my friend is IELTS, she has 8 in Listening, 8 in Reading, 7 in Writing and 7 in speaking with an overall of 7.5 while i have 8 in Listening, 7.5 in Reading, 6.5 in Writing and 7 in Speaking with an overall of 7.5 I am thinking the issue is my IELTS result
Can anyone shed light as to why we have a different score in the pool even though we have similar credentials and experience
And what can i do to boost my score.
Thanks Remark your Writing and Speaking if the window is still open. |

tanigororo: Yinmu in Vernacular, hope this is not a paid PR? You don't have to be negative. The fact is, online passport registration, capturing, and issuance have become faster over the past few months.
Even better, passport DIY process is now easier and people have started neglecting these unscrupulous officers/agents who charge insanely high fees to assist people.
On May 10, I registered online for a family member and capturing dates were available from the following day (Abeokuta Passport Office). She captured May 16, and her passport was out on June 11 – barely a month!
In addition, we paid #36,400 in total and didn't part with a dime for whatever reason from start to finish. Interestingly, the officers were nice, patient, and courteous.
Unfortunately, Nigerians are the major enablers of corrupt practices. I mean, if no one is willing to pay for these so-called FasTrack process, the officers will start doing what's right.
Even more baffling, we complain when things don't work, and hardly show believe in our institutions when they are back in the right track with better service delivery.
Let's use the same energy used in castigating these people to also spread the good news about their services.
God bless Nigeria. |

Kintowi: Please I need to clarify if I can only use a Masters Degree certificate for my WES.
I am getting conflicting information about the need for a degree of at least 3 yrs or undergraduate degree. You should only evaluate your highest degree, which is Msc in your case. When you do this, adding your Bsc is unnecessary.
If you don't have a Msc, evaluate your Bsc alone (3 years+ course). However, if you had an ND/HND before your Bsc, you should evaluate both degrees to claim two or more certificates. |

mahvie: @Nkeona Kindly state what you want. Corn..oàk proposed some means of resolutions. You can pick one from there and let me know. Let's resolve this. Now, that's a way to go.nkeona: Thank you boss. I will move on. Now up to you, Nkeona.CornOak: To put this issue to bed, both parties can agree on any of these recommendations:
1. Compensate him monetarily for his time, data, efforts, and emotions invested
2. Gift him another name that's near expiry (his initial request)
3. Make a commitment to offer him a percentage of the profit if the contested domain eventually sell in future
4. Offer him more domains to work on to increase a chance of sale, so you can reward him afterwards
God bless you both. |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by CornOak(m): 9:18am On Aug 10, 2024 |
mahvie: No, I wouldn't. Like I mentioned in my chats with him, I have outbounded this particular domain so much and the highest offer I got was 300 which I countered 400 and the buyer ghosted. If his buyer is willing to pay 300, then I can let it go for that amount otherwise it makes no sense to me. But the bolded wasn't part of the initial agreement.
To be honest, what you did can be said to be Bait and Switch which is an undesirable practice in the business world. Since you reached out to him first, you should have thought about it deeply before asking him the go ahead.
I understand that priorities change and you have the right to retain your domain, however, you just wasted his efforts, time, and data with nothing in return. And yes, just SORRY is not ideal in this situation since he's doing this for money.

Mahvie, I'd advise you stop sounding like what you did was right, the other party has a right to be aggrieved, especially when an offer came through. Instead, you both should resolve this amicably.
nkeona, I understand how tough things might be with you right now, but rest assured that better days are coming. Find a common ground with the counterparty and move on.

nkeona: Before 5pm I was done outbounding for that domain. At 7:53pm he sent me the mail that he is renewing and at 18:05pm I received first offer for the domain. I can't tell what goes on in his dan dashboard. Two offers so far mahvie: I wasn't aware of any offer. I renewed the domain and immediately reached out to him to stop outbounding. Mahvie, are you willing to sell the domain for one of the offer amounts? |

nkeona: So you knew you were going to renew and still allowed me to outbound. People shouldn't deal with you since you are fickle in decision making. After all you will just apologize when you change your mind. Did he inform you about the renewal after you told him you got a $100 offer or before he knew about the 100usd offer? |
