We know in parts and we prophesy in part.(1Cor.13:9) While Pastor Chris is a man of God that I deeply love and respect (someone I look up to) the mystery of eating in the dream is far beyond the submission of the MOG on this subject matter

First, Pastor Chris quoted (Acts 10:9-15) as the only place in the scripture where God fed people in the dream.


It is good for us to know that the vision that Peter had did not come through dreams, but through a spiritual medium of communication called trance. There is a clear wall of differences between these two spiritual experiences. (Num.24:4-6; Acts10:10).The interpretation of this spiritual phenomenon was a message about the inclusion of the Gentiles in the plan of redemption. God was using this message to kill the discrimination mindset in the heart of Peter against non-Jewish nations( Acts11:5-12). It is therefore not a dream neither does it have anything to do with Satan. However, God can use dreams as channels of communication if He pleases to do so.(Gen.20:3; 31:11; Matt.2; Acts2:17-21)

Also, the use of Isaiah 29: 7-9 by Pastor Chris was completely taken out of context. Let us look at what these verses say and interpret them accurately and accordingly

And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel,
even all that fight against her
and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.
It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth;
but he awaketh, and his soul is empty:
or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh;
but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite:so shall the multitude of all the nations be,that fight against mount Zion.


Ariel signifies bravery and courage, the character traits of a Lion. These character profiles typify the dominion or the leadership qualities of a tribe called Judah who occupied the city of Jerusalem at that time.(Gen.49: 8-12). God was using the dream in question as an allegory to explain how the enemies or the confederate of nations that stood against Jerusalem were going to be defeated. For instance, just like eating in the dream does not replace physical appetite when one wakes up, so also, the evil machinations of these nations will not come to material reality. It is like having strategies without having the power to execute them.

These verses I must say, do not in anyway portend or deny the reality of eating in the dream as figment of human imagination. Bible did not say that sir. (2Tim.2:15) God was using an allegory (Gal.4:24) to represent the defeat of the enemy in Isaiah29:7-9

Having said these, Christians must know that faith does not deny the fact, but rather, it only establishes the wholesome truth. (Jn.8:32) We cannot establish the victory of the cross against the enemy, if we do not know the strength and the weaknesses of the enemy we are dealing with. (2Cor.2:11)

Satan we must understand, is a spiritual entity that uses tactics and subtlety to defeat his opponents. He specializes in using diplomacy rather than military campaign to hold his enemies captive. (Gen.3:1-4; 2Cor.11:3) This adversary also locates his victim through ignorance(2Cor.2:11). Satan works by consistent strategy from the beginning (1Jn.3:. He is very adhering in his approach to defeat man. For instance, if we could recognize that Adam lost dominion through the eating of a forbidden fruit, which is food, it is suffice to say that Satan still uses the same tactics today to rob people of their glorious destinies in Christ. (Gen.3:1-3). No wonder, Jesus the last Adam introduced communion as one of the tools or weapons of destroying the works of the devil in the lives of the saints. Communion remits sins; the principal weapon of Satan that manipulates and establishes the defeat of man in the pursuit of his endeavors (1Jn3:8; Matt.26:26;1Cor.11:23-end).

To buttress the power of nutrition as a medium of spiritual transactions, when Abraham gave tithe to Melchizedek, it was wine and bread that the this priest of Salem used to strike the covenant of universal possession with Jewish progenitor. (Gen.14:18-20). Food therefore is a vital force of enacting and sealing covenant in Biblical and ancient days (Gen.26:26) Even David the man of God acknowledged that the strength of a natural man is traceable to the content of his physical and spiritual nutrition (Psa.103:4; Jn6:48-53).

The word of God in the New Testament also recognizes the table of the devil; the nutritional contents deployed by the forces of darkness to transmit misfortune into the lives of men.(1Cor.10:21; Lk.4:2)

How does Satan administer this table?

Please know that Satan is called the anti-Christ or the exact opposite of Christ. He uses the existing laws of God that he perverts to take advantage of man 1Jn2:22;4:3). The laws of God are universal laws. (Heb.11:3) It is available and accessible to all sundries. Whatever is written is available to all; both for doctrinal formation and for mystical applications .(Matt.4:6;1Tim.4:1-2) Satan often takes advantages of these laws to afflict both Christians and no-Christians a like. (Matt.4:6; Job1:8- 10; Gen.3:1-5)

For instance, If God could feed people with their own flesh and blood in warfare, (Isa.49:24-26) If God could use food as a prophetic symbol in dreams (Gen.41:1-endIf God could appear to man in dreams and seal his ears with instructions (Job 33:15-17; Gen.20:3) who says that Satan cannot do the-same? (Lk.4:2)

Jesus whose name is called the truth exposed the operation of Satan through the vision of the night that comes through sleep. “While men slept, the enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat” Dream invasion is a channel that Satan uses to plant his evil seeds in people’s lives. Satan often uses the state of unconsciousness or dreams to plant evil seeds in people’s lives. (Matt.4:2; 13:25).

Regardless of the antics and manipulations of Satan, I must reiterate this fact that Christians have authority to destroy the works of the devil (1Jn3:8; Lk.10:18-30; Eph.4:27; 2:6-8; 1:20-end). There is nothing Satan can bring into your life that the power in the name of Jesus and His blood cannot destroy. Jesus has given us the communion as an antidote of whatever you eat in the dream (Jn.6:48-53; 2King4:39-41). We don’t need to fear at all, all we need to do is to exercise our authority over the forces of darkness.

Neither Jesus nor His disciples denied the existence and devices of Satan and his demons. Thanks be to God who causes us to triumph over the works of darkness 2Cor.2:11,14; 1Jn5:4; 2Tim.1:7-9)

To say therefore that eating in the dream is just a figment of ones imagination cannot be 100% correct. One needs to discern and allow the Holy Spirit to give the exact interpretation of what is going on in the realms of the unseen; a realm too deep for one mind to comprehend. There’s no omniscient man, otherwise, God won’t be necessary (1Sam16:6-7).

In conclusion, i encourage Christians to be seekers of truth by searching scriptures themselves. Spiritual maturity comes with deliberate hard work. Lastly, let's not forget the warning to be sober and vigilant in 1Peter 5:8. Eph.4:14; 2Tim3:15

We will keep seeing different posts from different people claiming they have learnt one or two thing.... simply because it's Adenuga. The typical ass licking character with most Nigerians. What paddy has done is what every other "business man" does everyday. Trying to get deals done.
Whilst I salute his effort, boldness, courage and entrepreneur spirit, I do not find his story motivating. Yes, it's not bad belle. Catalan was just another trading business that may have happened. Typical buying and selling with no tangible technology creation or transfer itself. I mean Paddy is not building a product from scratch, going to test it market, trying to acquire customers and then not making money as one would have projected. Stories like facebook, Google, Amazon, Dropbox, pay stack, microsoft, apple and name it. These are businesses that were built from nothing. Adenuga wanted to purchase an asset. With some connection, you can secure loan from the bank and buy an oil assest. It's something we hear everyday. It would have been a more interesting story if he did something outside his father's business. I mean build a product from scratch. This is my own definition of entrepreneurship!

Anyone who does not fear/respect google is crazy. Meeeeeeeen. I bought a google home mini last week and i'm thinking now how have i existed without this thing in my life. It freaking knows everything. It is my best friend now. I can ask it to do anything and it will. "Hey Google, Play Fela" and gbam, i'm already gyrating to it. It reminds me of everything, makes phone calls, orders food, etc. I wake in the morning and say, "hey google, how's my day like?". And it tells me my tasks, reminders, weather, traffic, news, and then plays music to cap it up. All this after it had woken me up, and turned on the lights in the bedroom. My only regret is not having invested in Google when it first launched. N20,000 then and i would be a multi millionaire today.
