Here is an update on the Uber driver who was spotted in a viral video assaulting a female passenger with a whip for allegedly questioning him during the trip to Ikeja area of Lagos.

Twitter user @eziinneee said the Uber driver tried to park at a flooded area where they couldn't alight from.

However the driver who drove out from the flooded spot allegedly flared up after her friend who wasn't paying attention during the trip asked why he was "driving quite far when they already said they will walk".

He reportedly parked in the middle of the road before assaulting the female passenger with a whip and dragging her down from his car.

The Uber driver who further said that the female was useless and mannerless, threw her phone on the floor when he noticed she was making a video.

However the management of the multinational transportation network company is already investigating the incident.

One of the women said she's a mother-of-four from Okija, Anambra. The other is from Enugu state.

The incidence which happened in one of the female hostels in Uniben is currently making rounds on social media.

One of the girls while beating the said Culprit (Neheta) lamented what she passed through just to get some of the Weavons that got stolen.

Below is a moment two mobile policemen were seen exchanging hot blows in front of a Gtbank in Asaba.

The officers who're on bank guard left their duty and started fighting to the extent of rolling themselves on the floor as passersby and customers watched and hailed them.

The bank security men made every attempt to separate the fight but to no avail but never hesitated in opening the gate when they got tired of the fight.

Nigerian Singer, Davido, is moving forward with his plans to wife his long-time girlfriend, Chioma Avril, and he officially popped the question, to which she answered ‘YES’.

The elated singer took to social media to show off his bae’s huge engagement ring to show that he wasn’t joking when he really tagged his upcoming wedding special.

Davido has been dating Chioma for over five years and in 2018 they broke the internet when he bought her a brand new porsche SUV to celebrate her 23rd birthday.

Four men were on Monday afternoon, around 3pm busted by men of the Ghana Police with fake wads of dollar cash.

The young men were said be Nigerians by the police, for driving a car with a Nigeria number plate.

According to a police source, the young men escaped through a bush on interception and a manhunt have been launched on them.

As we all are preparing for the final weeks of the reality TV show, the housemates are definitely all on edge, and this Saturday was no exception to the usual drama that happens in the house.

The whole drama all started after Mercy approached Venita over her discussion with Khafi, blaming her for their punishment.

Recall Biggie on Friday, punished five housemates, Tacha, Venita, Frodd, Khafi and Omashola for ‘not winning’ their wager task.

Khafi earlier told Mercy that Venita suspects that Mercy, as the Head of House, suggested the punishment to Biggie.

But, Venita trying to clear the air with Mercy after Saturday night party broke down in tears.

According to her, she only told Khafi that she suspects Mercy told biggie to give the legends their punishment and was not certain about it.

In the process of trying to convince and pacify Mercy about her loyalty as a friend to her, Venita broke down in tears.

Here is a moment a Nigerian man refused being harassed by South African Police during a stop and search session.

In the video that has sparked outrage on social media, the man was seen being harassed by officers just for telling them to search him in front of busy area instead of a lonely road due recent attacks ravaging the country.

The officers then picked offense with his request and had to seize his driver's license without even searching the car as earlier planned.

When the 48 years old Nigerian understood what their plan was, he hurriedly snatched the license, saying he is a graduate and he has a genuine job, before persuading them to search his car since that's the reason why they stopped.

Passersby had to intervene by calming the Nigerian man before the officers decided to leave.

South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa is currently under fire from his country men and Nigerians, for "catching cruise" on the killings and violence in his country on national TV.

While doing a first take on his address, read from a teleprompter at the SABC's parliamentary studios, Ramaphosa starts his address, but a couple of seconds in, makes a mistake which he flags by saying: "Let's start again. I made a mistake."

The version was evidently not meant to be aired, but somehow landed on viewers' screens.

However, the SABC has apologised to President, Cyril Ramaphosa for flighting a pre-recorded message that included a re-take of his address to the nation on Thursday evening.

Davido’s babymamas have reacted to a statement he made in interview with Beat FM, after hinting he was expecting a baby with his soon to be wife, Chioma.

On the radio show, Davido made it crystal clear that the baby coming this time is a "Special One".
