An IPOB member has release a throwback video of Hon. Rotimi Amaechi to justify the beating of Senator Ike Ekweremadu on Saturday in Nuremberg, Germany.

The lawmaker, who has served in the Senate since 2003, was seen in a video that went viral being pelted with stones, yam, sticks and water packs.

In the video shared by the IPOB member, the then governor of Rivers State, was heard at a symposium in Lagos saying;

"We are still stealing because you have not stoned us for it"

Imo State Recovery of Moveable Assets Committee, earlier this week, stormed a property belonging to the immediate past governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha, that he allegedly gave out to his Ethiopian girlfriend.

The recovery team under the leadership of Governor Emeka Ihedioha stormed the facility with men of the Nigeria Police and evacuated the said lady.

Pictures of Rochas Okorocha was found in the apartment which stood as evidence for the accuser.

Other items, including the lady's undies were seen littered over the place.

There was a mild drama yesterday in a village in Ogbunka in Aguata, Anambra state as red cap chiefs were seen struggling and fighting with the youths over a she-goat that was brought as marriage rite.

According to the video making rounds online, the youths were seen punching the goat in the air for it to die, so that everyone could rest, while the elders were stretching livestock to the extent of tearing it apart.

The residents who stood to watch the drama, were heard in the background, saying this goat has suffered, just imagine the punches.

An Abuja business woman who beat her house help with wire and left the young girl with injures in major parts of her body, including private part, has been arrested.

The woman Mrs Onyema while being interrogated burst into tears and pleaded for mercy.

Her husband who is a lawyer feigned ignorance of the maltreatment meted to the young child by his wife as the house help, chioma recounted her ordeal in the hands of her madam.
