Corrections:
The truth is that the people of each generation would need to be in constant relationship with God communicating through the use of ''PRAYER''.

Prayer is a powerful tool that is required of every Christian to enjoy a sound spiritual relationship with God. Just as it is in Children parent relationships, where the children are in constant daily interaction with their parents for comfort, correction, encouragement, protection, so also it is in a Christian / God relationship through prayer.

When it comes to prayer in Christianity, there are laid down rules Christians are to follow in order for them to have a successful relationship with their father (God) in prayer. Anything outside of this rule may be interpreted by God our Father as unacceptable. Now let us look into some of these rules.

* Forgive your neighbours sin before you start your prayers.

Mark 11 :25
And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you for your offenses.

* Ensure that your right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Jesus said you should go into your room with the door closed behind and pray to God your unseen father. Jesus further continued saying that your father ( God ) that knows all things done in secret will certainly reward you in the open. This means we don't have to disturb our neighbours with unnecessary noise just because we are praying.

Matt 6:6
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.



* SILENT / SECRET PRAYER
* LOUD or Non Secret PRAYER

SILENT/ SECRET PRAYER

This is the type that is secretly or silently offered to God without allowing people around us to know or hear the content of our prayer to God. Here in this type of prayer , neighbours don't get disturbed except if there was an agreement between the person and neighbours. This is evident in the life of Jesus by always moving far away from presence of people into the mountains or valleys to pray.

Luke 9:28

About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James with him and went up onto a mountain to pray.

This is the type of prayer that obeys directly the command given to us by Jesus telling us not to be like the Pharisees that like to pray in the public aloud or to show themselves.

Matt 6:5
And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.

Hannah the mother of Samuel also exhibited this kind of prayer too and God answered her prayer.

1 Samuel 9: 12-13

12...As she was praying to the Lord, Eli watched her. 13 ..Seeing her lips moving but hear no sound, Eli thought she had drinking.

NON SECRET / LOUD
If the prayer is not sincerely from the heart and is directly opposite what SECRET prayer offers or about is considered NON SECRET/LOUD Prayer.

Matt 6:5-6

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

When your prayer goes far away from the corridor of your privacy into the privacy of your neighbours without an agreement binding this, thereby disturbing the peace of your neighbour, then your prayer is considered non- secret / loud.

Finally, you don't have to disturb the peace of your neighbours just because you are praying. Moreover, the heavenly God ( the one that sent and called Jesus his son ) you are praying to is NOT deaf to hear Prayers

Isaiah59:1

Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.

Corrections:
The male cub of a LION will NEVER grow up to become a donkey. Never!! When a PRINCE shows up at an event with all his father's support and authorities to represent him, NO ONE at the event would dare disrespect or denie such PRINCE the respect or recognition they would Accord his father "the KING."

God the creator of heaven and Earth rules over all that he creates. He gives out his orders and no one anywhere can reverse it.

He gave his order that the sun and the moon should keep shining out their lights till the end of time. Who has been able to reverse this order by God given to the moon and the sun?

When God chooses to bless or reward his people who can curse them? Or vice versa? God's authorities can never be challenged by anything or anyone? It pleased God to favour Joseph to become the prime minister of Egypt even though he had no credentials to occupy the position. Yet no one could challenge him.

It pleased him (God ) to declare Abraham his friend. It doesn't matter the opinion or questions of people ( does God need a friend? ) about his declaration, Abraham still remains a friend to God.


Isaiah 41:8
“ But you, Israel, are My servant,
Jacob whom I have chosen,
The descendants of Abraham My friend.

James 2:23
And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, 'Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.'And he was called the friend of God.

When God speaks people's logical questions or opinion systematically become outdated. Questions like " does God need a friend to be happy?" "How can Abraham be God's friend when he has not seen God?" do not in anyway concern or compare with God's knowledge because what he ( God ) can not do does not exist. No human logical thinking can be compared with that of God. Never!! If God says you are blind just know that indeed you are blind irrespective of tones of images your eyes see physically every day .

Isaiah 55:8-11

8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.

Now in the same light, this same God was pleased to reward and declare JESUS his beloved SON. Now know this and have peace that irrespective of logical questions people may ask no one can reverse it. Here this, if God can declare human being ( an ordinary flesh ) his people in Hosea 2:23, is it Jesus Christ whose birthday ( his mother got pregnant without her husbands sperm in her ) and death ( came back to live after practically dying for 3 day) are mysteriously strange ( [b]the first and the last of it kind combined the world would ever withness till end of time ) that God can't declare his BELOVED SON?[/b]

Here in the verse, Jesus was declared by God to be his Son

Mark 1:11, NIV: And a voice came from heaven: 'You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.

Mark 9:7, ESV: And a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.”

Just like how a king would relinquish power to his loyal prince so also has God ( his father ) given him ( Jesus Christ the prince ) extra ordinary power to rule over all that he ( God the Father ) has created both on Earth and in heaven.

Ephesians 1:21-22
Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church.

Also, God his father ( the king ) has given him ( Jesus Christ the prince) power to be the medium or platform [/b]through which people can get to heaven to live with God his father for ever.

CHEER UP

There are days when the mountains and thick darkness surround us. In these days everything looks aimless or hopeless. In times like this know that God has your interest at heart. God is always interested in lifting people out of their problem ( the hungry, God fills with good things )

Psalm 107:8-9
“Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” Psalm 107:8-9[/b]


God didn't promise us that there won't be problem but did promised us an escape from the problem ( rest )

John 16:33
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”[/b]



God's plan for us is unshakable even in the storm, thick darkness or troubles he will surely get you to the promised land here on earth and heaven. There is a very BIG HOPE waiting for you, that problem won't end your future if you can tap into these promises of God.

Jer 29:11

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jesus is telling us to cheer up even in whatever challenges we might be going through because we shall come out of it if we can believe. There is no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus.

Rom 8:1

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

All you need to do is to come and hold on to God's promises through our lord Jesus Christ confessing and believing them. Ask for mercy with forgiveness and stay off sin ( ask for special grace or help for this and God would surely help you )

Matt11:28

“Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.



HOW TO CONNECT TO GOD

The simple way to connect to God is through Jesus just ask him to come into your life and be the lord and saviour of your life forever, follow and believe in him.
