How are you sure the person you talking to or quoting is even a Christian and not atheist or other religions? Some are here to cause confusion because they are bittered by this good gesture from the pastor.

Jeremiah 29:11
"I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

One piece of beautiful news is that the creator of our lives is even willing to show us the day-to-day, month-to-month, year-to-year plan or path for our journey in life. He is not keeping it a top secret from us. This is evident in the life of Abraham, to whom God revealed his plan for the Israelites to migrate and stay in Egypt for 400 years.

Genesis 15: 13
Then the LORD said to him, "Know for certain that for four hundred years your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own and that they will be enslaved and mistreated there."

When we don't have the plan of God for our life journey, it makes it easier for the devil to deceive, steal, destroy, and kill us. This was what played out in the lives of the Israelites that migrated to Egypt. God's appointed time for them in Egypt was 400 years, but the devil robbed them of this time of freedom by an additional 30 years, making it a total of 430 years. This was a success on the side of the devil, probably because a larger percentage of Israelites were either ignorant of God's plan for them or not bothered by God's plan.

Exodus 12: 40-41
 Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt was 430 years. 41 At the end of the 430 years, to the very day, all the Lord’s divisions left Egypt. 

Now know this: You can only get the plan of God ( the designer and manufacturer of your life)  by getting close to him. A child cannot be far from his parents and know how much care they have for him. Please also note that the " PLAN OF GOD IS IN GOD." As a result, in order to access God's plan (the designer and manufacturer of your life), you must be close (in him).

Jeremiah 33:3

Call to me (come to me the designer and manufacturer of your life )  and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things ( including the ones concerning your life   ) you do not know.’

From the scripture above (Jeremiah 33:3) it is clear that the first step to accessing God's plan for one's life journey is by following God. 

When you follow God or are close to him, obeying his command and not the devil's command is also your desire and the order of your life.

Therefore, it is very important, especially in these trying end-time harsh events, to know or migrate closer to the designer and manufacturer of our lives for his plan ( manual book) on how our lives should move in the physical journey of our lives on Earth.

In summary, to get God's plan for your life, you need to get God's commands to obey.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things ( including God's plan to direct our physical journey in life ) will be added to you.
