Human being communicates with his sense organs. Every one communicates one way or the other either with himself ,environment or God.

When it comes to communicating with God, there are ways human being communicates with God e.g prayer and fasting, praise, obeying his commandments.

God communicates with human in different forms or ways. One of the instruments God uses in man to communicate with him is his mind/sight. It doesn't matter whether you are blind or deaf. If someone's eye is blind at least he would use his mind to reason and see things in his mind. That is why your mind is your eyes and your eyes is your mind. The content of your sight affects your mind.

luke 6:45

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Therefore, it's important to keep these particular instruments of our lives effective and alive for God to use to communicate with us. We need to understand that dirty mind/eye attract darkness while a clean eyes or mind attracts light( God).

Jesus said in

Luke 11:34-36
34 Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are healthy,[a] your whole body also is full of light. But when they are unhealthy, your body also is full of darkness. 35 See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness. 36 Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be just as full of light as when a lamp shines its light on you.”
