Corrections:
It is paramount to always stay in God's rest whether in seasons of trouble or season of blessings.

God's rest is a place of peace of mind for the soul , body and spirit. Jesus admonished us that when we hear of the rumour of war or trouble we should enter God's rest ( not be troubled ) Matt 24:6

HOW TO ENTER GOD'S REST

The major foundational way to enter God's rest is by knowing God's word and secondly believing in God's word.

Case study 1

Heb 4:12

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Note that God's word is not ordinary it's backed by the supernatural power of God. It is this word of God that Elijah used in his time to make the rain not to fall for 3 and a half year( 1king 17 and 18 chapters). It was the same word that Jesus used in healing and deliverance. Remember Jesus said these words I speak to you are not mine but that of my father.

These words from God need our faith to be activated to become supernatural in our lives. Our faith in God is important in entering God's rest just as the bible says

Heb 4:3
Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, "So I declared on oath in my anger, 'They shall never enter my rest.'" And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world.

Case study 2

Jeremiah 29:10-11

This is what the LORD says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again.

Here talks about how God sent part of the israelites into exile to babylon where they would stay for 70 year without returning home. When it eventually happened God sent his prophets to remind the people being exiled into babylon of his plan that they would be there for a life time of 70 year.

Now , those of the people that are exiled that received and believed this message had total rest in God. These set of people would settle down immediately they get to babylon, rent farms, plant economy trees that take have 50year of life span , buy properties, and start making long term plans ( 30-50 year ) as God favours them in babylon because they would not be coming back home soonest not at least in the next 70 year.

On the other hand those that do not believe God's message that they would be staying that long in babylon. These set of people would say to themselves probably the babylonians would allow us back to our country after six month, 2 year, 5 year, 15year, or 30year with just a heavy taxing from them on us.

Therefore, their minds would be divided between two opinions of whether to settle down in babylon, farm, plant economy trees that have 10-30year life span and make long term plans of 40-70 year. Eventually these set of people would have their minds troubled and miss out on many good things.

Knowing God's word and believing them helps us enter God's rest at all time.

Jesus told him ' I am the way-
Yes, and the truth and the life. No one can GET to the father except by means of me (JESUS ).

Let not your heart be troubled. You are trust in God now trust in me ( JESUS ).

is hating the father (GOD)
