jaxxy:You said Jesus said he has no power to judge sin that only God can? Are you for real? Am I sure am talking to a Christian? Are you sure this is not in your Bible? (Jn 5:22-23). "The Father himself judges no one, but has assigned all judgment to the Son, so that all men may honor the Son just as they honor the Father" Are you sure you are a Christian that at least reads his Bible well enough to understand the few things he reads? You don’t even know what “to judge someone” means. Please go find out what “judging someone is”, then you relate it to the Bible verses I gave you earlier to know if it’s right to judge or not. One of the verses I gave was…. Corinthian 6:9 New Living Translation Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. (he even judged them calling them fools because they truthfully acted like one shocked shocked shocked shocked) Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Jesus has no power to judge sin? Hmmm!!!! |
jaxxy:Please tell us what Jesus told the men who wanted to judge the adulterous woman and relate how that is the same thing with the bone of contention on this thread. Pls and pls , tell us for the benefit of the general public. Am waiting I want to learn. |
jaxxy:1stly u are not God abd cannot take the place of God rather u will be judged by God like every other human being. Let that be clear. Ogbeni sir, is like you running out of fuel. Why shifting the goal post? I can’t remember where I told you I was God and I wanted to take the place of God. You are now telling stories of how God will judge people,”. Did I tell you Satan will judge the human race? All these emotional talk will not bend the truth. Do you think think Christianity is just based on emotional talk?2ndly if Jesus called people fools and also said we should not call our neighbour fools then u feel u have a right to go calling people fools that is ur business with God not me. U will explain why u called them fools to God. Point of correction! You misquoted or misunderstood the meaning of what Jesus was saying. Is not, how come Jesus himself called others fool? You later said that we can quote scriptures to tell sinners the truth. So what was Jesus doing, by calling those people fools? You said he call them fool because he is the son of God or have supreme power over every one. Jesus call them “fools” based on truth of the scriptures to correct them. Unfortunately according to you, we followers of Jesus should not correct people based on truth using the word “fool”. According to you it is only Jesus that can use that word. Anyone who uses it has automatically committed a wrong. 3rdly. If u are quoting thr scriptures to sinners or anybody u are not judging them u are simply tell them the truth or what the scriptures says to they are aware and u are not specifying they are going but sinners will go. U do not kmow what they have told God in their hearts to give ultimate judgement on them. Ogbeni abegi go and sit down joo, is now you want to correct them. Why don’t you leave the sinners and keep telling them “don’t judge ?” ![]() Now that the scriptures I posted as finally humbled you, you now changing the narration. I thought you said let me quote your exact words ……..“ Let me tell u now again u have no right or power to judge anybody sin under Gods law. God did put any judge on earth to help him judge people.. Do you know the meaning of “to judge someone?” Let me help you out here… 1…[intransitive, transitive] to form an opinion about someone or something, based on the information you have. 2…. [transitive, intransitive] judge (somebody) to give your opinion about someone, especially when you disapprove of them. 3… [transitive] to decide whether someone is guilty or innocent in a court. Cambridge dictionary a person who is in charge of a trial in a court and decides how a person who is guilty of a crime should be punished, or who makes decisions on legal matters: Now, haven understood what it means to judge someone is. Now go back to the scripture I posted that humbled you and read slowly and tell the house if the person talking in that scripture didn’t exercise all the dictionary meaning of what it means to “judge someone “. 1 Corinthian 6:9 New Living Translation Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. (he even judged them calling them fools because they truthfully acted like one shocked shocked shocked shocked) Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. |
