Now, when we talk about gas cylinders, know that they contain vaporized / liquified gas under high pressure. Op said the cylinder was just recently filled which means the liquified gas and pressure were high and intact. This means that if by chance like op explained, there is a leakage in the valve of the cylinder, the gas (which will be a n form of liquid vapour not just air) will gush out with high pressure or force. This liquified gas under pressure is a catalyst that helps the gas to spread easily (by rule of difference in temperature and pressure). Now note that the op says he stays in face me and slap you house.

This means that there is passage (whose ceiling is enclosed and active as an enclosed space) that has two exit doors to the building. Now in this passage, each room has a space to put their cooking stove/gas in which their stoves/gas are about 4feet- 6feet apart from one another. If gas cylinder A suddenly started leaking it’s gas under a powerful pressure, soon the whole walk way passage will be filled up, the the gas moles (couple WIth difference in temperature and pressure) will migrate to the exit door of the house. This is evident in OP testimony that they ran out and they could still smell the strong dour of the gas.

Now for the gas molecules to migrate to the ends of the passage where air comes in, the gas molecules must had moved from gas cylinder A (leaking gas cylinder) to gas cylinderB (gas cylinder with naked fire). When this happens it means the gas from gas cylinder A had passed through the naked fire of burning 🔥 gas cylinder B which should had caused a POWERFUL LOUD EXPLOSION powerful enough to tear down the roofing ceiling of the walk way passage. It could also happen that if the distance between the two gas cylinders are extremely close together, the fire from gas cylinder with naked fire 🔥 will be transferred to the leaking gas cylinder, making the leaking gas cylinder to burn with powerful fire under high pressure ( without any explosion just burning like flaring gas in the oil refinery). If this happens, there is a very high risk of the whole place being engulfed in serious fire.


Now, haven explained the scientific aspect of this accident, the miracle ( which God planned) here is that there is no single fire outbreak on the leaking gas cylinder or any fire explosion of any kind.

This is a big miracle not everyone that this happened to survived it.

LPG which is cooking gas is odorless and colourless, the smell you normally perceived is an odorant added at gas production plants to aid gas leakage detection.

To the main question, gas actually has a range of combustion especially cooking gas, as you mentioned that this happened outdoor, it means the gas mixed up with the air and did not remain around to build up. For an explosion to occur it must take up 70% of the air properties.

If you want to understand more, switch on your gas valve keep a lighter or matchstick far above the gas like one to two feet and you will see that nothing will happen.

But should the leak be indoor and no ventilation from outdoor it would catch with a heavy gbosaaa.

You are just lucky it happened in an area with a lot of space and the Gas didn't occupy at least 70% concentration of the air around,

You actually wrote nonsense while trying to make sense. Same black man you're castigating? Oxygen dilution stopped explosion indeed. You do not know anything about science and yet spent half your post talking about invention and people who don't. For your information, oxygen is highly flammable. The saving grace is the openness of the area, diffusion and the fact that the gas, most likely propane is denser than air.

True oxygen is highly explosive when pressurized and flammable. Even in an open space the Chances of setting the cylinder on fire is 90%.
