One of the lies they told was that if they removed subsidy, it will liberalise the market and it will make the products flow in without hindrance and hence bring the prices down after some time.

I laughed at the above postulations when some of the public commentators were pushing this stupid narrative.

Same narrative was said for the devaluation of the naira...that it would rise but will eventually come down to about 600/700 to a dollar in a short while. This was emphasised several times by the current minister of finance. The thing is 1500 and rising

I knew they were deceiving the people...the gullible ones

We warned them not to touch the fuel subsidy because that is the only crumb of benefit Nigerians have access to and what keeps the economy alive. No they won’t listen ….. they keep analyzing and postulating all manner of economy theories that can only work were corruption is extremely minimal or non existence (of which Nigeria is extremely corrupt)

These are the people I talk about. They are police but they refused to police well. When the evil they do catch up with them tomorrow (they get kidnapped or killed) people who don’t know them will PITY them.

Now am adding to it, if you are a journalist journalist well and stop collecting brown or white envelopes up and down just to please the corrupt polithiefcians. Don’t say the money you have collected is enough for you and does not concern you. If you are NLC leader, lead well.

The evil you covering today as a journalist or NLC leader may consume you tomorrow.
