I don't trust all these news tabloids again ever since WAEC denied that they have never done state by state rankings in Nigeria because they are in 5 nations in Africa.
The funny thing is that some of these tabloids especially Vanguard,ran the falsehood for up to 10 years.

The road is currently under a 25-year concessionary maintenance agreement between Nigeria and China.
Those kind of roads usually last wella.

Most of our leaders have taken us for a ride and refused to develop Nigeria infrastructurally instead embezzling the money.
They have also left out production instead they would open up the borders for cheap foods and other things which were made in other nations.
No nation ever grows in such a situation.
According to what we have been reading recently,some people do not even know the value of infrastructures anymore because they have been impoverished.
For a nation to become great and self reliant,it needs infrastructures.
The first infrastructure is road maybe shelter etc.
For energy...light,you need infrastructures.
For Agriculture and to eliminate or mitigate hunger,you need infrastructures.
For Education,Health,Sports etc ...you need infrastructures.
It is only the military govts that have built tangible infrastructures in Nigeria.The subsequent thieving democratic govts have always opened border for Nigerians for cheap things so they can embezzle all the money meant for the growth of the country.
A country like that will eventually fail and its citizens will suffer greatly in the midst of plenty.

What about high cost of living and insecurity ?

Apart from the problem of high cost of living which is ravaging nations all over the world,there's no Nigerian President that has written his name in history positively than Tinubu even as he is still there.
Anybody can correct me if I am wrong and reel out what that President or Head of state did.

I will mention a few that Tinubu did to write his name in history positively :
1.Free Technical Colleges with free meals everyday and a monthly stipend of #22,500 for each student until they graduate.

2.Millions of pensioners having free health care in every federal hospital all over Nigeria.

3.NELFUND...Millions of poor students having their school fees paid through no-interest loan and also getting #20,000 as pocket money until their graduation.
If govt spends #5million on student,he only pays back in piecemeal,only and only if he has a job.If he collects #100,000 salary,he pays #10,000 out of it monthly.If he collects #200,000,he pays #20,000 monthly.
If he dies(God forbids),,nobody pays.
No job,no paying back.
4.He has built more Primary Health Centres all over Nigeria than all the previous govts combined.
5.The sheer number of massive infrastructural projects going on in the 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria dwarfs that of all the other previous govts combined.
It has never happened in Africa for a govt to build a road that interconnects more than 9 states of a nation.It is a record that will be hard to beat.

There are more like LG autonomy,State Police etc.

The tax in question was introduced under the FERMA Act that was passed into law in 2007 during the PDP administration. There was a lot of outcry when Obasanjo wanted to implement the law so implementation was stepped down since then. However, it remains a part of our law.

So last year, the Tax reform committee consolidated a lot of these laws into the new tax law for better efficiency and effectiveness in the tax collection and administration system. So many of the old taxes were simply kept in the new law without any changes.

However , this particular 5% has no implementation date. So, the information going around that the implementation date is first of January, 2026 is false. The law is still docile as it was in the old FERMA Act. Implementation will only commence when the Finance Minister issue an implementation order and that has not been done.

As you can see, there is no point calling for the removal of a law that has been docile for over 15 years. It will not be implemented next year or anytime soon.

Then FG should quickly refute the allegation that it will start being collected in 2026.
Govt spokespersons are not doing enough and their social media people are not also doing enough educating the masses.
This allegation is all over the place.They should try to quell it.

I am a staunch supporter of President Tinubu and will vote him in 2027.Sometimes I don't know whether govts don't think about the poor masses at all.
