una no gt sense, both of una.
From the part of the book posted it is talking about the Per-capital income of Babylon. The book said the "Richness of Babylon is not in the Government Coffers" .
It just like saying Akwa ibom is Richer than Rivers since it receives Higher incomes than Rivers when we know the people of akwa ibom are less Richer than Rivers.

Anambra have a higher per capital imcome than Delta and ibadan combined.
According to stats, Anambra is the second city with the lowest poverty Rate after Lagos( note; Abuja is not a state).

Anambra has a lower poverty rate than Delta and to me that's for Richness is all about. Not what is in government coffers. Two years ago Akwaibom was collecting Higher revenue than delta, should we had then said akwa ibom is far far richer than delta state? Use una head Na.

My richest cities according to the Rate of poverty in Nigeria is line below.

Lagos
Abuja(though it shouldn't be included)
Anambra
Rivers
Kano
Delta
Imo
Kaduna
Ibadan
Uyo
Aba

Your from your anus statistics,abi?
UNO,UNDP,World Bank put Lagos first,Osun second and it is only Anambra that made the first 10.All SW states were in the first 10 except Ekiti.
World Bank,UNDP etc have already confirmed that there is a large cloak of poverty in the SE more than anywhere in the South.

Port Harcourt by far is the richest city in Nigeria. Lagos has far more poor people than middle class and rich while Port Harcourt has more of upper middle class and lower middle class than poor and super rich. 2ndly all the money shared in Abuja and Lagos originates from Niger Delta

You are a joker. All the middle class in Port harcourt are not up to half of the middle class in Lekk alone before talking about Magodo,Ikeja etc.

ONITSHA.

This is from your port statistics,
“Onitsha port will serve the South East Nigeria; in fact, Onitsha port will be the most viable port as over 60 per cent of cargo in Nigeria goes to Onitsha, so it is going to be a very busy port,” Ibrahim said.

lightskinnigga:
Here are drone images of most populated places in Nigeria.

Both cities share similarities and you can barely tell each other apart.

Though Lagos was a former capital of Nigeria and has the entire Nigeria investing there, onitsha was never a capital and was damn near leveled during the war.
Onitsha is just 52 sq km according to google.Lagos is more than 1171 sq km and much more, more developed than the entire Igboland.

Politics / Re: SSCE No Longer Feasible For Election Into Public Office - Gbajabiamila by Cosbyrich: 10:20am On Jan 18, 2022
FreeStuffsNG:

I know folks like you who look down on technicians. To become a technician in those areas, you don't take SSCE, you do NABTEB exams. I am sure that you are forming graduate now but clearly ignorant of this fact that those are careers on their own and they attend Technical Schools from JSS3.

So anyone among those you mock, who has proven his mettle in those areas, can go ahead and sit for SSCE . Asking them to go all the way to university in order to constitute another set of nuisance online or in governance is not necessary in my opinion. They bring to bear their leadership experience in governance. If you didn't cheat to pass SSCE, you can hold any elective post.
With all these glorified high school called universities littering everywhere, I doubt if we will get any value raising the basic requirements. As a rule,I don't even bother ro confirm how low standard some products are once I hear someone finish from some 'universities'

Why dont we make those changes and see if things will be better or not.As it is now, things are getting trashy..
Politics / Re: SSCE No Longer Feasible For Election Into Public Office - Gbajabiamila by Cosbyrich: 9:30pm On Jan 17, 2022
FreeStuffsNG:
SSCE is still fine. It's good enough. I completely disagree with this. If you honestly study hard to pass your O level, trust me, you can contest and discharge your responsibilities well as an elected public official.
The failure in governance is not because of SSCE, it's due to lack of patriotism. You don't study patriotism in the university.

The SSCE minimum qualification is to make it broadbased and encourage talents with exceptional leadership and administrative qualities but not interested in tertiary education to gun for elective positions. I know a person with SSCE who owns and runs an elite school here in Lagos that has produced world class products and except this person tells you, you will never know the person had SSCE as highest qualification.
Here's free book on business ideas & money sources directory for you,it's 100% free! https://www.nairaland.com/6666800/looking-business-ideas-money-fund. Cheers.

Politics / Nigerian Entrepreneur, Joel Popoola, Chosen To Improve Uk-africa Trade by Cosbyrich: 7:00am On Jan 14, 2022
A Nigerian tech entrepreneur, Joel Popoola, has been selected to head up a task force aiming to improve trading ties between Africa and the United Kingdom.

Popoola, a digital democracy campaigner and creator of the Rate Your Leader app, is to lead a Special Interest Group for Africa established by the UK’s Institute of Directors – one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious business leader groups

Institute of Directors Africa Special Interest Group (IoD Africa SIG) will stimulate business opportunities, increase networking, and grow awareness of British businesses in Africa – and African businesses in Britain.

A launch event of the IoD Africa SIG is to be held in London on 19 May 2022 with all African diplomatic missions – and some heads of state – expected to attend.

Prior to the launch, a series of bi-monthly online roundtables will be held to discuss post-Covid and Brexit business opportunities for UK and African businesses.

The UK government has already negotiated eight free trade agreements with African countries and trading blocs since Brexit, creating tariff and duty-free trade between Britain and 30 African nations – this means significant opportunities for African consumers and companies, not least in the continent’s 24 Anglophone countries.

Britain currently has free trade agreements with Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, the Eastern and Southern African trade bloc (Mauritius, Seychelles and Zimbabwe), Egypt, Ghana, Morocco, Southern African Customs Union (Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia and South Africa), Mozambique, and Tunisia.

Popoola said: “One UK parliamentary report recently noted that UK-Africa trade has ‘flat-lined’ and accounts for just 2.5 per cent of all UK trade. But before Covid-19 the world’s five fastest-growing economies were all African, and regional leaders like South Africa and Nigeria are likely to become superpowers of the global economy as we move towards the second half of this century. More needs to be done on both sides to take advantage of the opportunities on offer.

“As one of the World’s most influential and established business leader forums – with royal endorsement dating back to 1906 – the Institute of Directors is the ideal forum to develop opportunities for UK-based firms who want to establish and grow new businesses in Africa and vice versa.

“As a proud African, and on a personal note, I hope the establishment of this Special Interest Group come to be seen as an important step to a free trade agreement between my nation, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom.”

You see your mumuness.Fulani took over Kwara but they dont have even one local govt.
Fulani took over Kwara but they have only one king in Ilorin only. There are more than 60 Obas in Kwara even Jebba.
Even the emir himself knows that he should not be there....they got to be king by stabbing Afonja in the back and killing him just to proclaim that they have become king. They had the backing of a large army of Hausas and Fulani but only Ibadan defeated the weaklings as large as they were. The foolish whitemen were the ones who prevented the Yorubas taken over the throne. Even till now it is the FGN.If Nigeria splits, that fake king will run with his tail in between his yansh like a kangaroo.
If Igbo did not have a community, what is Izuchukwu doing there as a youth leader. There are substantial Igbos or non indigenes there.Use your Osu brain small nah.
