Borrowing the virtue of honesty, I must confess that I always think about our core African traditional society with great nostalgia. The very embrace of nature by the people at the time which unassuming nature played out in the very way and manner they acted out their individual roles on the center stage of traditional setting. The Igbo traditional society, like every other, is one richly endowed with strong cultural heritage, such that I often wish we turn back the hands of the clock to the times or good old days WHEN THE LAND OF THE SQUIRREL USED TO BE UP THERE! MGBE ELU BUBUURU ALA OSA! Those good old days when a girl would boldly grace her head with a bunch of firewood without caring one bit which boy was looking at her! I dream about those good old day when the bathing in the village stream was a good exercise often looked forward to by all and sundry, without the fear of a physical or sexual assult from the opposite sex! I long for those "blind" and "naive" days when you scolded your girl child and all she did was look down in remorse without challenging your authority with rude and insulting eyes which spoke volumes beyond verbal insults! I long for... for so much which I know are now mere illusions by mere thought of them... I... I long for... I, in fact, wish Africa had her life back! Our life has been snatched from us! Over garnished with artificial flavours! I wish we strip ourselves of all those inferiority complex! And take our lives back! |
To increase the love flow in your life, you need to start planting some seeds with expectation . Increase is multiplied by expansion, the more you give to others the greater your abundance. With thoughtful loving intentions, (giving seeds of love), you can produce a harvest of overflow. In your giving there is receiving, in order to get a return, one must first make an initial investment. For every action there is a reaction, your harvesting commences with your sowing. . You can’t grow a crop unless you first prepare your soil, seed it, water it and cultivate it. Many people are lacking incoming sources of love in their lives because they have let the weeds of selfishness overcome their plantation. The weeds in their inner gardens have choked off their ability to receive, ill-gotten gain is of no value. Life is not about being inwardly consuming and sitting in a position of acquisition. We are all here to learn to love, if we miss that, we miss the meaning of life. . If you want love, sow love … if you want wealth, Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. If you need a job, volunteer……whatsoever you desire, plant it unto others. If your love cup is not being filled, start filling up the cups of others. Make the most of your opportunities, start behaving your way into manifestations, start giving love. Your sharing is not a diminishing, it’s an expanding. Consider the size of a farmers vineyard, the larger the field, the greater yield of harvest. The more seeds one can spread across ones field, the greater ones increase. You can’t expect to increase by way of decrease, holding on tighter to what you have will only impede your abundance. Love others the way you would like to be loved, times three. . You may not get returns from the sources of your sowing, so plant and expect the harvests to come from which they may. Be open to and worthy of receiving the fruits of your blessings. Many people disqualify themselves from the love they desire because they have not opened up receptions door . Those who give graciously, must also learn to to receive as graciously as they give. Enlarge the place of your tent; stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your pegs. Isaiah 54:2 Let us not become weary of doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 Now he who supplies the seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 2 Corinthians 9:10-11 There is one who scatters, yet increases all the more… Proverbs 11:24 And let the one who is taught the word share all good things with him who teaches. Galatians 6:6. . -Cosmic Macduff (Master Life Coach) Share this article today to save a soul. |
We shall always triumph. Israel did it and reached the promised land. We, Nigerians will also with painstaking reach our own promise land, for Rome was not built in a day. Bless Up All! |
I am not writing about Fayose, his own stupidity have no Earthly cure. For it ain't mere mortals that placed a curse on him. His curse is deeply spiritual, hence the cure(if any) must be divine and out of our world. His own foolishness we have no hope for a cure. . . I am writing because of those who believe Fayose in whatever capacity. When a sane man claps for a mad man, we might not raise an eyebrow. But when that sane man claps, hug, follow and eat the food the man mad offers, it is time to take that man for a lunatic check up. . . How supposedly sane educated minds would rejoice and celebrate the idiosyncrasies of a deranged Ekiti accidental war lord is truly baffling. The same set of people carry placards to support those who stole their common wealth. You see them shouting 'witch hunt' everywhere you go. Ask them if it is a crime to hunt a witch? . . You would hear them stupidly say things like 'why not probe from 1914 the regime of Lord Lugard, then Flora Shaw, then Azikwe and Awolowo, so that we would know that you are not biased'. It is no joke, their stupidity can be likened to the above example. We need to make an appeal to the FG to build a university where stupidity can be cured. I know candidates who would deserve free scholarships in such an institution. . I am Cosmic Macduff, and I just want to make a common sense. Bless up! |
I harbour no doubt in my mind that Nigeria will witness an uncommon infrastructural transformation under the leadership of PMB in the next three years. Once this budget crisis is over, all the nooks and crannies of this country will turn into construction sites. The diversification of our economy which has been a nightmare to us will soon be a thing of the past. Take my word on this. PMB is the answer, he came at the right time. Nobody builds without a proper and solid foundation. PMB has built the foundation upon which a Nigeria is being built. I BELIEVE IN HIM AND WILL ALWAYS PRAY FOR HIM. |
