I don’t know how to explain it but let me explain as a novice .

When it’s on gear 1 it will drag before it enters gear 2

Also, when I’m speeding , sometimes it will just accelerate but it’s not moving ( it seems as if all the selections went to neutral )

Sometimes when I try forcing it to change gear , the speedometer will get to 3/4 before it changes and then makes a sound “kpum”

The one that shocked me was last night , it was on gear one ohhh till I got home .

I’m in Enugu . Please if you know any good mech I can take this car to, kindly help

I checked all those thing a before changing the knock sensor

Even the TVS I changed yesterday didn’t match with the vehicle so my mechanic said we will bring like 5 pieces of the tvs and be testing before we can get the correct match for my car

Not knock sensor. Check knock sensor wiring and connections

I changed the knock sensor and it’s still happening

Knock sensor can cause those symptoms.

Check wiring to knock sensor for continuity

What is the maximum point

he called it something like TPS . i dont know again , but he pulled it and it changed normal but it will drag small and will now select gear , but fuel was finishing

first the mechanic scanned said it was the knock sensor , i changed it yesterday , then it was still same

after again , they scanned and it wasnt showing the knock sensor again but the car still drags

i was running behind schedule cos of school run , i had to go home like that with the car

they scanned it and it was showing knock sensor issue , then it was changed yet its still reoccurring, i just use vex carry the car comot yesterday cos its taking my time

Avalon 2002 started dragging and delaying before changing gear this evening as I was driving home
