PoliticsAm Back! Pls Someone Should Kindly Update Me! by courage54(op): 11:06am On Jul 26, 2014
Am back and I need urgent answers to these questions!

1. After the removal of fuel subsides 2years ago, has the power situation improve or do we now have better roads? Better educational facilities without strikes?what about our health system has there been any improvement because I heard some people are on strike.

2. What about some of the corrupt politicians, I heard many of them are now saints e.g FFK, Bode George, Alamsiagha e.t.c. Doesn't mean their cases are now closed? Sule Lamido children, how far with them?

3. What about Abba Moro, the minister of interior that conducted the immigration exam that took the lives of tens of graduate, have they sacked him? Or have they refund the 1 thousand naira they extorted from innocent jobless graduates?

4. Has GEJ and his team found our missing girls?

5. What about the missing 20billion dollars, any hope of getting at least half of it back?

Finally, what are the plans on ground to curtail the newly discover ebola virus? because it seems all our plans now is about re-election. Pls I need urgent answers to these questions to enable me take my stand.

PoliticsRe: Tribalism The Core Problem Of Nigeria ... by courage54(op): 7:43am On Jan 09, 2014
cjrane: Let Nigeria breakup after 2015!
We are tired of this sham marriage by people that hate each other so intensely.
I don't see Nigeria breaking up even in 100years to come. I think Nigeria as a nation has come to stay so wat we need are pragmatic solutions to our problems not division.
PoliticsRe: Tribalism The Core Problem Of Nigeria ... by courage54(op): 7:40am On Jan 09, 2014
waleadex: Tribalism is not the core problem but created problem of Nigeria. The core problem is corruption and it keeps expanding day-in day-out.
Is it not tribalism that still make some of our brothers to be defending even high profile corruption cases that is even more glaring to the blind? All in d name of he/she is our kinsman or our daughter and any allegation u try to raise again dem they tag it has marginalisation. Tribalism is causing more harm to us.
PoliticsTribalism The Core Problem Of Nigeria ... by courage54(op): 12:37am On Jan 09, 2014
I wonder when we Nigerians will begin to reason and judge issues facing us with clear conscience that is not devour of religious or tribal sentiments! Even the youths that alt to have this great sense of humour still indulge in tribal and religious sentiments. I don't post or comment frequently on this forum because most of the post and comments I read here some times keep me wondering if actually we are the future leaders of this great Nation. We might belong to any political affiliation (thou I don't belong to any because am not politician) be it PDP or APC but that should not stop us from saying the truth when the need arises. Even the United State of America has opposition party(ies) which serves as alternative whenever the ruling party fails to deliver, we all witnessed the Obama and Mc cain's election, during the campaign period, d issues that were debated upon where issues of national concern on how to move their nation forward but what we discuss here are tribal and religious issues that can only kill us and divide us forever without any idea on how to move the nation forward or how any of the party ideology has or will benefit us .
They say Change is the most constant thing and I think this is the right time for Nigeria to experience something new, something that is different from what we have been seeing for the past fourteen years, the PDP has been in power since 1999 with little or nothing to show for it, then why don't we try another political party and see if anything good will come out? Even with the good policies of George Bush, his party was still voted out because they needed a change of ideas.
Even we from the Niger delta have taken a stand that if GEJ did not perform then he should be voted out we can not continue to hold our dear nation down because of tribalism, I am eager to see when we the youth and the whole nigerians we begin to judge our leaders base on the competence of their character and their ideology rather than religious/tribal sentiments. Enough is enough, it is high time we take our stand and fight for the future of our unborn children. The change that we need is in our hand let's make use of it in 2015.

God Bless Nigeria
God Bless Niger Delta
God Bless Bayelsa

donphilopus: Maybe, you can still find it in some old newspapers. Oshiomole and other APC members refers to him as a "thief", so the word covers every of his misdemeanor.
To some extend I think Oshiomole still respect his person because he hardly talk bad about him publicly as it it even still reported that Oshiomole still consult him on some issues.
PoliticsRe: Opinion: The Only Man I Respect So Much In PDP by courage54(op): 12:41am On Jan 07, 2014
donphilopus: I can't remember; but, I know APC is fully taking Edo State come 2015.
Am never against any party winning Edo State, but let the best candidate emerge. As for his looting allegations which you stated, how come no media house published the news? because he is in the ruling party which will even serves as a great news to the opposition, even Oshimole didn't mention dat during his campaign.
PoliticsRe: Opinion: The Only Man I Respect So Much In PDP by courage54(op): 12:11am On Jan 07, 2014
donphilopus: The foolish man won the 2011 senatorial election in his senatorial distric for his co-fool Odion Ugbesia through rigging.

Both of them are thieves! Anenih stole up to N5B as the Minister of Works, which made him to resign; when this present senator was also a minister, he stole a large amount of money and didn't remember Edo state, which later affected him, and he was disqualified as a Governoship aspirant.

So, I therefore enjoin you to stop hailing a certified thief! After delivering his senatorial district during the last election to PDP; has he won any other election there again??

The only mistake the defunct ACN made then, was presenting a former State PDP women leader as their senatorial candidate! So, because the woman was just too weak, PDP did their usual job. Come 2015, APC is claiming the 3 senatorial seats.
Well said, but there has not been any major election since the 2011 election, and even the local govt election dat took place last year, it was only his local govt area that was not won by the defunct ACN all others where gallantly won by ACN.

PoliticsOpinion: The Only Man I Respect So Much In PDP by courage54(op): 9:55pm On Jan 06, 2014
When you talk of political sagacity you can count on him, when you talk of a political mediator and a fence builder you can always count on him! You can never catch him in the act of dragging words with anybody because he believes in actions than noise making! This is a man that has successfully participated in all the regimes of government from 1999 till date. He will treat and talk with his political oppositions as if they are in the same political party because he never sees anybody as his political enemy. Even when his party lost his state to the opposition party, he didn't loose his senatorial district as he still has those he supported in his senatorial district in the senate and house of representatives. Some people may say that he has not done much in terms of development in his home town but you can never rule out the fact that he has placed a lot of his kinsmen in high places both politically and in various ministries in Nigeria.
He was one time minister of works, one time Nigeria Port Authority (NPA) chairman and Former and Present PDP Board Of Trustee (BOT) Chairman. He is chief Tony Anneni of Uromi in Esan North East Local Govt Of Edo State, a true son of Esan Land

I wonder what some pple stand to gain for justifying fraud and corruption. Since when did Jonathan now has d likes of Dangote, Adenuga and all d private businessmen as entourage? So his ministers and aids are no longer enough for him until he add those businessmen? And moreover if those business men want to go and check business opportunities in Kenya dey must go in group on d same wen d president is going there which is on their independent day! Let's be truthful to ourselves for once

I wonder why humans can be this ungrateful! How can u say there is no good governance in edo state? Can u compare this present government with the muddy 8yrs of Lucky Igbenidion? We should try and appreciate good tin wen we see one! ilebaami: You sound like someone who is rational. The truth is that Nyako and Amaechi cannot find any space in PDP. Wamakko does not need PDP to survive politically. Apart from inducing the Rivers lawmakers with stupendous cash Amaechi needs them to do this rash decamping to satisfy the bloated ego of a village boy that he is. Rivers lawmakers know that they are stuck with an irrational Amaechi. Their political future is dead. Ditto Nyako boys.
What will now happen if APC become the ruling party? Or do u think Amechi will open his eyes and see PDP wins River state? Amechi is too stubborn and proud to see that happen!
