Just like how Siemen wanted to build electricity plants 8 years ago. And how Nigeria wants to start currency swap with China. We rate these guys too high. No reasonable company will want to invest in an unquestionable democracy where there are no rule of law and court orders are not obeyed by the government. |

I just moved into a new apartment, and I found out that the energy supplier to the apartment is British gas, but I do not wish to continue with them. I want to notify them but have been unable to get across to them. Please anyone with contact number or email that they respond to should help me with it please. You don’t really need to contact them before you switch. Just switch to your preferred gas vendor, they will be the one to contact British Gas for the switch. |

AntiMCU: Experts in the house, please I need your help oh.
Just got a love phone call from Asda on not being successful for a graduate role.
Said something about me or doing well in the interview: said I talked a little fast, didn't sell my self well and all that.
Wasn't too surprised though, it just confirmed my suspicions that my interview skills has been the culprit on my inability to get a professional job. Don't know, something about my brain disconnected from my mouth when I'm talking in interviews after all the aptitude tests, phone interviews, screening etc
Can anyone point me to an online resource that might be of assistance in helping me understand how interviews are assessed here: way to talk, tone, pace, volume, body posture, being clear and logical enough, what to do if you don't have an answer to the question asked or not prepared for it etc.
I will appreciate.
Thanks. Bros don’t over work yourself, maybe the job is not meant for you, just keep applying for as many jobs as possible. One must surely enter one day. Talking from my personal experience, I have a tick Benin ascent and I’m not too fluent in English as we mostly speak pigin in Edo . And God forbid make I form ascent because of say I dey talk to oyibo. But I just got a highly skilled job in one of the multinational companies here. I spend more time speaking on my CV and trying to cover most areas that they might want to ask me questions on. Then try get many scenario answers for your head. Using this word STAR- Situation Task Action and Result for your scenario answers |

Guys please I need your inputs.
I did an interview with an organisation last week through an agency. I was successful on the interview and assessment, even the agency has reached out to me that I was successful that I have been offered the job. But up till now I haven’t received any offer letter. My contact person at the agency told me that the company will send me the offer letter latest Friday last week or Monday morning but up till now I haven’t received any. I called the agency and they said the company is sorting things out with my visa even though I’m on a dependant visa which will still be valid for the next 3 years. Please what could be the issue here? The role is a permanent role and I will be working with the company directly. |

Ralphlauren: Are you planning to get your score to 100000?
You are just stressing yourself for nothing.
The higher range credit score takes years to achieve and there are several factors that impact achieving that high score.
Applying for multiple lines of credit will not increase your credit score. It will either stagnante your score or decrease it. Instead stick to one line of credit (maximum 2), maintain excellent account usuage and work on increasing your credit limit for each line of credit. Imagine having a limit of £16,000 on amex, what other credit card am I looking for again
You can get a mortgage with your existing score. Lenders look at a lot of factors and not necessarily your credit score. I have seen new immigrants (those on tier 2) without credit cards get mortgages within a year in this country and in one example, one of the named individuals on the mortgage application (spouse) wasn't even on the electoral roll.
The underwriters look at a lot of factors- your occupation, employer, how long you've been employed, how far you are from retirement age, affordability, outgoings, number of dependents, account usage, income, etc.
This is why is a good mortgage broker is worth their weight in gold. They can package your application to the underwriters highlighting all the positive factors and mitigating any risks or concerns that the underwriters might raise. Please can you recommend any good mortgage broker and their contact details |

Is police report (from your home country) required for dependant going to UK for the first time? Not really necessary but some employers do request for it before they can employ you giving the fact that you just arrived to the UK. So to be on a better side just get it. |
