Speaking of governing body members, Stephen Lett just gave a talk that will be released in an upcoming convention. and this video is currently trending on ExJW reddit.

Stephen Lett says Children are born enemies of God. He says people look at babies and say "Look at that little angel". But they should accurately say" Look at that enemy of God".



Now what is even more shocking is that when the video was transcribed into other languages like Portuguese and Dutch, what Stephen Lett said was translated as something else. Two EXJWs in the forum noticed it and raised alarm. So, either Watchtower or the translator knows that the statement Stephen Lett made is actually wrong but they needed to translate it to mean something else so that other Non English JWs wouldn't get exactly what Stephen said. This is why it is good to watch these broadcasts in English.

Don't they teach that Children are gifts from God? Why is a gift from God described as an enemy of God? Who are you to pronounce children as enemies of God when God himself has not judged them so? Where is this written in the Bible? Didn't Jesus teach that we should be as meek as Children? Didn't Jesus say the kingdom of heavens belong to them?
