The founder of the movement was known to be a freemason. That I have known for a long time.
But so far I have nothing against the JWs, neither do I see it as a cult. They are just a set of christians with different understandings of the doctrines of Christianity. To be part of God's kingdom, you have to believe that Jesus is the son of God and this they believe so I let them be.

They are not Christians. They do no follow the words of Christ. They are not taught on how to have a relationship with Jesus. They don't recognize him as God. They call him Angel Michael. They get their doctrines from Angels and not the Holy Spirit. Their system is run exactly as a Cult. By their roots and doctrines, they have shown not to be Christians. If you don't have full knowledge of their doctrines and understand them, you will think they are Christians. Yes they believe Jesus is the Son of God but that belief is not enough to make them Christians. Jesus is not an important person in JW. They teach that Jesus is not the mediator for the JW Great Crowd. They also deny his sacrifice when they perform the passover of the Bread and Wine. Their passover is twisted and they don't know this. Only the Freemason JWs in their midst and Christian EXJWs know this. Their Bible is twisted and has words changed to suit their doctrines which shows they have a problem with the Bible itself. Their doctrines have an Occultic source. Their beliefs are A mixture of some Christian plus Jewish plus the Occult. It's contaminated. It's not Christian.

Do thorough research on JW. You are only looking at the surface.

To further add, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has International Bible Students Association as one of their Corporations. Wikipedia has this info already. IBSA is registered under Watchtower. JW founder Charles Taze Russell made it very clear in a 1914 Watchtower magazine that Watchtower and IBSA have the same goals. Whatever you see IBSA do, Watchtower is in charge of that. They are together. So, you may go to IBSA website and check their FAq section, they lied they have no business with JWS. But Wikipedia tells a different story. In a charity website where Watchtower is registered, IBSA is mentioned as one of their contacts apart from Jw website. Wikipedia will tell you that The International Bible Students Association assists the Jehovah's witnesses in their operations. It is all there. Check it.

When Rutherford was President, he was still dealing with the International Bible Students Association. They were helping in the production of JW Publications. Go and find old Publications written by Rutherford. They still have International Bible Students Association written amongst Publishers in front of their books.

Therefore, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society Runs both Jehovah's witnesses and International Bible Students Association. IBSA are openly Masons. JW organization is secretly one. If IBSA is Masonic, what does that make Watchtower?

Apart from meeting in Masonic Lodges, JWs used to do Business with a Masonic Lodge in helping to sell their Publications.

In the first pic, that is a letter to a subscriber of the Golden Age magazine which is now known as the Awake magazine of the JWs. Back then, people subscribe to get these magazines and they pay for them. In the last pic below, you can see how the Golden Age magazine changed to Awake magazine over the years.

The interesting thing is a branch of the Freemasons known as ODD FELLOWS were helping to advertise and sell the JWS publications. In the letter, it says if they pay a certain amount, they will get the Golden Age magazine PLUS another one that says MILLIONS NOW LIVING WILL NEVER DIE which JWs know very well.

This shows that Freemasons and the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society are One and the same and were business partners together. Zoom on the Letter very well. You can see the Masonic Lodge called ODD FELLOWS TEMPLE boldly on the letter head. You can also see the Golden Age boldly shown in the letter by the top left.

There is another Talk by Joseph Rutherford and the Venue of this talk was placed on a Banner to advertise to the public. The Venue was still a Masonic Lodge. I found it on a video sometime ago. I will try to find it and post it here.

This video is showing an International Bible Students Association (IBSA) Convention Program having the picture of a Masonic Lodge and Programs with Dates,Times and Public Talks exactly as it is presently organized in Jehovah's witnesses today.

This Convention program clearly shows the Venue to be a Masonic Lodge. This is during the time Joseph Rutherford was the Leader/President of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.

This was before Jehovah's witnesses ever thought of having Kingdom Halls. This is where they used to have their Talks.From the program, IBSA is clearly shown in front of the Lodge showing that the International Bible Students Association own this Masonic Lodge. Now, the organization is coming up with Changes to rebrand the religion. They are just focusing on the minor changes before delving into more serious doctrinal changes. If that's true, are you expecting them to blow their cover? Of course not. The fact that Watchtower Runs International Bible Students who are Masons is just enough to prove it.

Speaking of Charles Taze Russell's Pyramid gravestone, I came across a testimony from a Lady who used to work for Satan but is now a Christian. She described Satan's Throne to be a Pyramid showing it's link to Satanism. This is why Freemasonry and Witchcraft are the same. Now the questions to ask JWs who believe these gifts have stopped,

How do you hope to battle against these wicked spirit forces of high places and Demons if you do not have a gift of the Holy Spirit?

How do you hope to cast out Demons from people who have such problems or spiritual problems/attacks when you believe that the gifts of discernment of Spirits has stopped?

How do you want God to speak to you, to reveal things to you, to warn you of any spiritual attack or warn you about the presence of evil spirits in your home or places or objects if you don't have the gift of the Holy Spirit to sense, smell, see and hear them?

This is where JW has failed woefully. This is why when they have spiritual problems, they visit Native doctors because their leaders have failed to equip them with Biblical knowledge about the authority we Christians have over all Wicked spirit forces in high places. JWs are exposed to spiritual attacks because of ignorance and very low knowledge about spiritual matters.

But come to think of it, why do they visit Native doctors for solutions to spiritual problems? Is that action not based on the belief that someone out there has the gift to see in the spirit realm? If you as a JW can believe in the possibility of someone out there seeing into the spirit realm by means of demons, why is it impossible for God Almighty to give the same gift to his Children in order to help the Body of Christ? Is God that powerless to allow his children be without gifts but Satan's children and followers exhibiting the same gifts being used to attack we the children of God? This is basic common sense. Why not rely on God through the gifts of the Holy Spirit to help you and others when there are spiritual attacks and setbacks? For you to rely on God for this, you must discard this Demonic belief that such gifts have stopped.

So, when the JW BIBLE decides to render the phrase Of Spirits into Inspired Expressions in 1 Corinthians 12 verse 10, they are further reducing the Holy Spirit and showing that they lack the vital knowledge in Spiritual matters. The JW Leaders do not teach JW about the Gifts of the Spirit. They are only taught that these gifts have stopped. But when you read Acts 2 vs 17, it says that in the Last days, which we are presently in today, God will pour this same Spirit on every flesh and they will see visions , prophesy and Dream dreams.

When reading Job 33 vs 14 to 16, it says;

14. For God speaks in one way,
and in two, though man does not perceive it.
15. In a dream, in a vision of the night,
when deep sleep falls on men,
while they slumber on their beds,
16. then he opens the ears of men
and terrifies them with warnings.

The above verses is saying God speaks to Us in Visions and in Dreams while we are asleep. I am Sure JWs have not come across these verses above. And to further prove them wrong, God and Jesus have spoken to me personally this way. The above verse 14 and 15 happened to me. I didn't understand the dreams sent to me because of JW indoctirination blocking my Brain. It was until I discarded JW Beliefs before I understood the dreams God sent to me. And afterwards, more dreams and a Vision came to me. So, how has these gifts stopped when the Bible says these are how God will speak to us in the Last days?

When reading 1 Corinthians 13 in context which is where they get their doctrine of Gifts of the Spirit ceasing, The whole chapter never said the gifts have stopped. It is only emphasizing on the importance of Showing Love and How Love is more important than gifts of the Spirit. In other words, Love should be Number 1. The verses are saying that you could have the gifts of prophesying but if you don't have Love, it is nothing. Love is the most important quality to have than anything else. These gifts can end one day when perfection comes. Perfection has not come yet. We are still in the last days in a wicked world with death and suffering. Therefore, the gifts have not stopped as shown in Acts 2 vs 17 . The verses are saying that the gifts can stop one day But Love remains forever!

Read 1 Corinthians 13 from the first verse to the last. JWS Read isolated verses and form doctrines thereby teaching errors which they use the concept of New Light. They do not read the Bible in context to get an overall understanding of the Scriptures.
1 Corinthians 14 from vs 1 then goes on to tell us to aim to get the gift of prophecy because of how much impact Prophecy has on the lives of Christians. Where are we seeing gifts of the Spirit stopping here?

So, now that the JW Bible describes the Holy Spirit as IT instead of He, they went ahead to fix the foreign phrase Inspired Expressions. They don't recognize the Holy Spirit as a Person who can do wonderful works in the lives of Christians. This is not Biblical. It is an Occultic belief. I have seen this belief repeated by Demons. Since one of the gifts of the Spirit includes Discerning of Spirits , if you have this gift, you can tell if a doctrine is from the Holy Spirit or from Demons. The JW leadership do not want JWs having this gift hence the reason why they say these gifts have stopped. if JWs have this gift or believe such a gift exists, they can very easily see that their own doctrines are not from the Holy Spirit because their leaders have already admitted that they are not inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Discerning/Distinguishing Spirits also involves the ability to sense, see, smell and feel Spirits for the purpose of casting out Demons. Sometimes , this ability is shown in Dreams and Visions or even in the physical realm. It is very unfortunate that JWs are not taught these things. They forget that like Ephesians 6 vs 12 says, We Christians do not battle against Flesh and Blood but against wicked spirit forces, evil spirits, principalities of high places. .

I will explain the above change in a bit. But there is more. Next verse is Romans 12 vs 11, the next verse after the above verse. They also changed a word there. Look at other Translations of this verse;

New Living Translation
It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.

English Standard Version
All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

Berean Standard Bible
All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, who apportions them to each one as He determines.

Berean Literal Bible
Now one and the same the Spirit works all these things, apportioning individually to each as He wills.

King James Bible
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

New King James Version
But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

New American Standard Bible
But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.

The key phrase we are taking Note of is the ending of the verse that says Just as He wills.. This verse is telling us that as The Holy Spirit dwells in Us, He gives us His Gifts as he wills or decides. Take note, the Holy Spirit is described as a He. Now look at the same verse in the JW Bible below;

But all these operations are performed by the very same Spirit, distributing to each one respectively just as IT wills.

When you check the JW Kingdom Interlinear, this verse was also changed. They apportioned the wrong translation to the Greek words for He wills. Check the Greek wordings for it in the screenshot above. It is the same. But they fixed the word IT.

The JW Bible describes the Holy Spirit as IT instead of He. This is because in JW, they blaspheme against the Holy Spirit by describing him as not a person, forgetting that we are to be under his authority and we are being baptized under his authority. Jesus describes the Holy Spirit as our Advocate, Our teacher, Our Instructor, our Comforter. The Bible is filled with verses where the Holy Spirit performed these functions towards Jesus's Disciples. These are functions carried out by a Real Person not an IT. The Holy Spirit has feelings, He grieves, He speaks, He instructs. But the JW leadership do not want JWS TO know this because it shows that If the Holy Spirit can do all these, it means all JWs are Anointed which does not align with their doctrines of Great Crowd and Anointed. JWs are taught that the Holy Spirit is just breathe, a breeze, a wind , therefore an IT and not a HE who is more than just a wind. Remember, the Bible also says that it is this same Holy Spirit that brought Jesus back to Life.

Another is 1 Corinthians 12 vs 10.

Look at how other translations render this verse. I am particularly troubled by this verse because it is a very serious verse. Look at the translations below and look at the Greek words for the verse. Do you see anything like Inspired Expressions? The proper wording is Distinguishing or Discerning of Spirits. Other translations even simplify it to explain what that means. This chapter 12 is talking about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. One of these gifts is Discerning/Distinguishing of Spirits.

This is how the JW Bible renders it;
to yet another operations of powerful works, to another prophesying, to another discernment of inspired expressions, to another different tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues.

Now check the JW Kingdom Interlinear and check the Greek words for this verse. Do you see anything like Inspired expressions In Greek? It says Discerning of spirits in the JW Kingdom Interlinear. Check The Greek wordings of Of Spirits in the JW Kingdom Interlinear and compare with the one in the screenshot. Are they not the same? Why did they add Inspired expressions. instead of Of Spirits?.

Another Bible verse is Romans 13 vs 1.

In the New Living Translation Bible, it says;

Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. Every other translation says the same thing.

The JW Bible added the phrase in their relative positions. This phrase cannot be found in the Greek Manuscript and in the JW Kingdom Interlinear. I don't know why this phrase was added. It makes no sense to add this phrase.

The JW Bible renders it like;

Let every person be in subjection to the superior authorities, for there is no authority except by God,; the existing authorities stand placed in their relative positions by God.

In Reading Romans 8 vs 9 in the JW Bible, you can see that verse was not changed. That verse still talks about Jesus being in Us by his Spirit dwelling in Us. This verse made it very clear that anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ living in them , do not belong to him at all. This is how the JW BIBLE puts it:

However, you are in harmony, not with the flesh, but with the Spirit, if God's Spirit truly dwells in you. But if anyone does not have Christ's Spirit, this person does not belong to him.

So, why are the JW leaders deliberately changing these verses that have to do with Christ living in Us when it is made very clear that we must have Christ living in Us to prove that we belong to him? What do they have against Christ living in Us such that they went ahead to change Bible verses that talk about it's importance? By this act of changing these verses, have they not shown that they do not belong to Christ?

This is how the JW Bible renders Colossians 1 vs 27, Galatians 2 vs 20 and Romans 8 vs 10:

Colossians 1 vs 27: To whom God has been pleased to make known among the nations the glorious riches of this sacred secret, which is Christ in Union with you, the hope of his glory.

Galatians 2 vs 20: I am nailed to the stake along with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who is living in Union with me. Indeed, the life that I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and handed himself over for me.

Romans 8 vs 10: But if Christ is in Union with you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

I am still in the course of investigating Bible verses manipulated in The Jehovah's Witness Bible The New World Translation.

The next Bible verses are Colossians 1 vs 27 , Galatians 2 vs 20 and Romans 8 vs 10.

In other Bible Translations, it is specifically stated that Christ lives in Us or is Within Us or In Us. Take a look at how other translations render these verses.

In the JW Bible, the phrase Union with was added. Their Bible is the only Translation that added this word. When you check the Greek wordings for these verses, the phrase Union with is not there. When you check the JW Kingdom Interlinear, the phrase is also not there, meaning it was added. Why did they add this phrase?

This is because Jehovah's witnesses are not taught by their leaders that Jesus Christ lives in us. Remember, the Bible says our Bodies are the temple of God. What does it mean to be a Temple of God? It means God lives in you or is in you. Going by the above verses , our Bodies are also the temple of Jesus. Our body is also the temple of the Holy Spirit which enabls us to display his Fruits. But for some strange reason, The leaders of Jehovah's witnesses do not teach them that Christ lives within them. Their leaders do not bother about having a full understanding of Christ living in Us ( because they do not belong to Christ) and do not teach JWS how to have a more than intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Jehovah is their focus not Jesus. Remember that Jesus is not the main character in JW. Jesus is just a Messenger in JW. So, anything in the Bible that talks about an intimate relationship with Jesus is deliberately scattered and manipulated to hide the importance of JWs in having an intimate relationship with Jesus. This is very dangerous to JWs which they are not aware of. The JW Leadership reduce the deity of Christ and also his influence on Christians. Because if Jesus has this much influence on Christians such that He lives in Us, it actually shows That He is God.

But these Bible verses are telling us the Gentiles, we have Christ dwelling/Living in Us showing that there is supposed to be more than an Intimate relationship between Us and Christ. This is lacking in JW Hence, their leaders adding the phrase Union with. To be in Union with means to be together for a common goal. But this phrase cannot be found in the Greek Manuscript showing that its addition is Wrong!. Being in Union with someone does not denote a more than intimate relationship but when someone lives in you, the relationship is stronger. In fact, it is more than a relationship.
