In my opinion, I totally disagree with Raymond Franz who said that the Governing body are Sincere Believers of what they teach. I strongly believe Raymond Franz didn't reveal everything that was required to be revealed in his book. He only touched on the surface. When congregations need a Kingdom hall, Watchtower says it will loan the congregation and add 3% interest. JWs were paying Watchtower. Watchtower got caught by the authorities for acting as a Bank then they decided to cancel the loan payment BUT still tell JWs to pay the same amount they have been paying for the loan to time indefinite! Did they cancel the loan at all? NO. And guess who owns the Kingdom hall? Watchtower. Not JWs. So, JWs are paying rent for using their own Kingdom Halls! When people leave the cult, Watchtower sells the Kingdom Hall. And this where that whole Congregation having a Deficit comes in. Each congregation is given a limit to how much money can be left in the Congregation Account. The rest of the money MUST be sent to Watchtower. What a Scam! Watchtower is TRULY A BUSINESS!

So, a new JW is getting baptised in the name of Jehovah, Jesus and the organisation. That's all! Jesus's authority is not emphasised there.
Is Watchtower obeying Jesus' command at Matthew 28 vs 19,20 as regards baptising people? NO!! Watchtower decided to invent its own Baptism. In order for a Christian baptism to be valid, it MUST highlight the Authority of GOD, JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. The religion MUST ALSO RECOGNISE THE AUTHORITY OF THE ABOVE PERSONS as stated by Jesus.

Does Watchtower recognise the Authority of Jesus? NO. They have twisted his words in the Bible many times!! They don't even recognise Jesus as Mediator to all of Mankind!! They, just like the Pharisees, have locked the doors to the Kingdom of Heaven meant for JWs by asking JWs to reject the consuming of the emblems!! They say Jesus is just a Messenger, a lesser god. Does Watchtower recognise the Authority of the Holy Spirit? NO!! Because they admit they are NOT INSPIRED by the Holy Spirit since they continue to make mistakes in doctrines!! They also say the Holy Spirit only selects a few people to go to heaven forgetting that Hebrews 8 vs 1-13 includes everyone who calls himself/herself a Child of God as part of the New convenant to the Heavenly Kingdom.

Since they have admitted that they are NOT inspired by the Holy Spirit, it means they have absolutely no dealings with the Holy Spirit. And that is why they completely removed the Holy Spirit from the Baptism questions!
So, if you already know that this religion is NOT Inspired by the Holy Spirit, why be in it? Why are you in it? What Spirit is leading them?

Why are incoming JWs getting baptised in the name of Jehovah, Jesus and the Organisation only? What is wrong with verbally exclaiming to the Baptism Candidates by saying YOU ARE ALL GETTING BAPTISED IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?

Who do the Watchtower think they are to replace the Holy Spirit? Isn't that Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? That you have to kick it out of the way for you to replace it? How can you understand the Bible better as a Christian and grow spiritually if you are in a religion that has admitted that they have no dealings with the Holy Spirit?

Now let me analyse these questions. First of all, there is nowhere in the Bible where Christians before getting baptised, were asked to take oaths. The disciples simply preached the Gospel, the people accepted the message and they were baptised. Period!

Secondly, the first question is about dedicating your life to Jehovah and accepting Salvation through Jesus. But Jehovah is NOT God Almighty. It is a Freemason Diety imposed on JWs to worship. If Yahweh was even mentioned, it would have been perfect. Salvation through Jesus is mentioned, at least they mentioned Jesus BUT the authority of Jesus was needed to be emphasised here!! Yes, you know Jesus is the way to Salvation. Do you also understand his Authority over you? They didn't do that.

They even admitted Jesus is the way to Salvation yet before the baptism, the new JW gets to be taught that the WATCHTOWER IS THE ROAD TO SALVATION. This is double tongue and Idolatry.

Lastly, the second question is asking the Candidate if he/she understands that baptism means he/she is a JW under the direction of Jehovah's organisation. In other words, the Person is getting baptised IN THE NAME OF THE ORGANISATION! That is, UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE ORGANISATION. The new JW is now under the rulership/dictates/authority of the Organisation. Meaning, they own the person! So, Holy Spirit is Gone! Watchtower has replaced the Holy Spirit!

Another way to show this organisation is NOT a Christian one is the Baptism Questions they pose to People getting baptised into the religion.

Jesus commanded his disciples in Matthew 28 vs 19, and 20 to go out and preach and Baptise people IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. The phrase IN THE NAME OF means UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF...........
In other words, a Christian getting baptised is doing so under the Authority of GOD ALMIGHTY, JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. It also means that the person has accepted to be under the Authority of these three persons that work together.

Watchtower baptises people by asking Baptism Candidates to take these oaths/vows in form of questions to answer. Watchtower from the beginning to a certain point in time, were including God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit in these vows. But in May 2019, a letter sent to Elders in the Cult, changed the wordings of the oaths and the Holy Spirit was COMPLETELY REMOVED.

Don't get me wrong, I'm focused on exposing my former faith. However, I will give the Quorum of the 12 Apostles some credit vs the JWs 'Governing Body'. The word Governing Body doesn't even appear in the Bible.

The Quorum of the 12 Apostles, at the very least, have the sense of mind to know that NO CHILD is ever going to have 2 Witnesses in a case of child molestation. One thing I didn't mention in my interview with the True Faced channel (there's only so much you can put on a 1.5 hour video), is when I talked to the JW Elder about child molestation, and he told me the Bible requires 2 eye witnesses, I told him to show my one scripture in the Bible to show Jesus would have kept the identity of a pedophile 'confidential' from his disciples, and I'll take back everything I've said....he was speechless. Look at the way Jesus dealt with Judas Iscariote, did he keep it confidential? What about when he threw the people doing business in the temple out? If threw them out, what do you think he would do with a pedophile? Your JW Elder had nothing to say.

I'll be the first to admit that that LDS Church has not always handled the issue appropriately. However, they DO cooperate with Police when a serious accusation of child abuse comes up, which is a big difference for JWs. When Church Bishops meet with the youth to 'assess their worthinesss', Church policy now states that parents be present with their child during these meetings. (To participate in the Temple Endowment Ceremonies, you have to have a recommendation from your Bishop, and you get a recommendation by meeting with the Bishop, and he will 'assess your worthiness' to see if you can participate in the Temple Ceremonies).

You will also find on the LDS's website what is called 'Gospel Topic Essays', and they are coming forth with their history and, yes, they're being transparent/honest about it. In this way, if someone decides to become an LDS Member, you can no longer say 'we didn't know this, we didn't know that.," So now, the responsibility rests on the member to do their research and be fully informed before becoming a member of the LDS. This is in BIG contrast to JWs who have 're-written' their history and then lied about it.

The Mormon Church doesn't ban higher education, they encourage it.

The Mormon Church does ban caffeine, but they don't have a ban on blood.

I also found the Mormon Church to be a much healthier environment for the youth. The Mormon Church encourages youth the become involved with your community. JWs feel that being involved with your community means you 'part of the world'.

The Mormon Church is not having financial difficulties like JWs are who are selling properties, etc.. The Mormon Church is expanding the construction of Temples throughout the world v.s. selling them.

The Mormon Church doesn't have any written policies on shunning, but I do see that changing in time. Just recently, they came out and said restoration of the Church is not complete, changes are coming. I do see them locking down on shunning.

There's a lot I can say about my experience in the Mormon Church. However, JWs are far worse.

Jehovah's Witnesses are worse. Yes, LDS is also a dangerous cult, but at least they are less extreme, less demanding, less controlling and they know how to have fun. It's better to avoid them both, but if you would have to choose, don't go for witnesses.

JWs without a doubt. I grew up Mormon and left as a young adult. I met a JW and converted for him. Biggest mistake of my life. I would classify The Mormon Church as a high control religion while the JWs are without a doubt a cult. The LDS Church does in fact set a standard for its members and have some quirky temple rituals but the control the JW religion has on its congregation is much scarier. They instill fear in the rank and file in a way that the Mormons do not. Oh and the blood policy, that’s the icing on the cake.

S, if JWs are Preaching in an area and Mormons are already in that area Preaching, they turn around and leave Asap!
Also, when Mormons are Preaching in an area, people begin to talk with them as if they are JWs but the Mormons quickly correct them and say "We are NOT JWs. We are Mormons".

The figure is not close at all. Get their yearbook and check the figures. That is, if you know how to interpret what you see there. It will appear they are many here in Nigeria but they TRULY are not many. Compare over 300,000 to over 200 million Nigerians as a whole. That is a very small figure. I used to think they were up to a Million. But the figures have been reducing. Comparing figures between 2020 and 2021, over 17,000 left the religion in Nigeria. The truth is, they have been claiming the same figure of 8.6 million worldwide for years even when kingdom halls in western countries are being sold and most of them are half filled as people continue to leave. So, the figures you are going to see in their yearbook have never been accurate. They cook up their figures.

LDS believe you rejoin God and the saints at death in the "celestial heavens". So everyone lives a good moral life pending his own end at death.

21. Both don't encourage LGBT. In JW they see it as a sin against God, catching you in the act will lead you to be "disfellowshipped" or getting shunned. In LDS you can identify as LGBT but there are stereotypes, you're seen as a sick person(natural impairment) who will have to kill own feelings towards same sex.

22. In both organisations women are not allowed to be elders, bishops or overseers. In jws women can mount the pulpit or pray over only when there's no single qualified man. In LDS women can give testimonies, talks, sermons conduct bible study rooms and other privileges but are not made elders.
