[quote author=kweensheba post=114374241]Tinu was doing. He received no answer at home so he called her cell. She told him she was shopping but would be home soon. They talked for a few seconds more then she hung up.

“I have to get dressed and go home, "she said, with a most disappointing look on her face.

“I know, "I replied, “I’m sorry I fell asleep.”

“It’s ok, I just have to get home before he gets there, "

She got up and put her panties on and went to the bathroom vanity. She stood in front the mirror and began to clean herself up. I watched her and could not help but feel wonderful and awful all at the same time. She was absolutely breath taking.

I think I had never really looked at Tinu as a woman before, only as a sister. But here in the bathroom light.

Sorry to quote the long post. But OP, u have gone past this long ago, pls review & make amend. The bf is gone & u guys were thinking abt d family. Don't take us back thanks

Hello all,

I'm Abimbola, what you are about to read is nothing but the truth. I'm an old member here but had to open this for the sole purpose of this & to hide my identity.

I'm writing this because I read on front page yesterday that the covid stuff in Nigeria could be a scam.

I am telling you now that Covid.19 is not a scam in Nigeria as I'm positive of all the symptoms, though yet to be tested simply because the NCDC & Lagos call centers are all scams. Before I proceed, I'll like to tell everyone the we masses are all on our own, pls if you feel any symptoms attack it with all you have got and keep hoping the government will respond, even though they are yet to respond to mine after 14 days.

I woke up to all the symptoms exactly 15days ago, high fever, mild cough, high temperature, sneezing. I felt weak all day & could hardly do anything. I stay alone, so had to one to call, went out later in the evening to get anti biotics & cough syrup & more food stuffs to face & immediately started reading more about covid symptoms, & how it develops & started calling the ncdc numbers to report myself & get advises while I continue the treatment & hope for the best.

By the second day, things were not better, I could hardly eat & the cough was getting worse. Let me say whenever I call the ncdc all they say was I should continue like that, that was after taking same information's from as if help would be coming or I would be contacted, though the line is toll free that I commend & they pick almost immediately. By third day, I know I'm no longer the owner of my body, the pain, the cough has really increased & added sour throat to it, my thought was as if something is burning & the sneezing is there.

Fast forward to some days later I read that the Lagos state has opened a test centre where one could drop his or her samples to be tested, I got there number & started calling but just like the federal the response was same, just stay there even when I explained to different people that pick after every calls that I've been at home and things were worse. I got anti malaria later, continued with the previous medication I was taking, after I completed the dosage of anti malaria the high fever stopped, but all other symptoms persist, most especially the cough & sour throat, may I also that the virus makes you feel some movement in all parts of your body including your vital organs, did I add the head ache is out of this world? It is a terrible thing, by now I've almost exhausted my money.

All the while I was reading everything online, but no solutions, but I continued, since I have no other choice, & I don't want to get anyone scared including my neighbours & to avoid the stigma that could even kill faster than the virus, the only help I was getting was from a guy in my street that I always buy stuffs from his mum, he is the one that buy stuffs for me through my window.

I continued calling the Lagos call centre but with the same answers, one even advised that I should go out and complain to any pharmacist in my area, I had to tell him that though I'm tested yet, but with full blown symptoms that I have, I could cause problems to others, he said that I should stay at home that if the symptoms persists after another 10 days that I should call back. There & then, I know this people were not test anybody.

I continued with the net, one fact is that I experienced all the stages the WHO portal said any positive person passing through. 5 days ago the major problem I was having was the cough was getting worse & I could feel my air ways blocking & I was having an heavy chest, & finding it very difficult to breath, while the pains in my veins & joints were serious, since I don't want to abuse any drugs, I've stopped the anti malaria, but continued with the cough syrup, pain killers & anti biotics.

Every other symptoms was responding or should I say manageable except for the cough, so I was forced to read about the dry cough, but all I got were from foreign sites & it was made clear that it is very hard to treat, still I persisted till I got to a page that redirected to natural home remedy for the cough, since most leaves mentions were in English & moreover, since I can't go out I settle for the two I could get honey & hot water with mentol & cover up with heavy cloth. I got my honey & did the other with aboniki, my brothers for two days I've been able to breath & my airways cleared & still managing other symptoms.

In conclusion, I hope the government or our health practitioners could look inward like Dr. Soludo wrote, there could be cure somewhere down here. Please the government are only testing the rich & those just coming into the country, pls if you feel the symptoms attack it with whatever that works for you, those medications helped me to still be here to share this, though not tested yet, but feel very much better.

Thanks for reading & sorry for all typpos & all mistakes.

Stay blessed & should there be anyone that could connect me to where I could be tested or treated I will appreciate, I'm in Ikorodu area of Lagos.
