Not a bad idea for the city Centres but it's not feasible for the rural areas where most of the criminal hideouts exist. There will be need to erect structures to which the cameras are mounted cos of lack of development there. Another problem is how to monitor the cameras to ensure they are not sabotaged. In rural areas where electric power is hard to come by and policing is almost non existent, the cameras will be vandalized or stone within a week.

When one camera checks another and camera vandalism is a 20 years jail offence, people would get sense. Stop assuming the criminals are mostly in rural..
